@@azhar7840 The light came from the screen backlight so no battery drains, but it turns out that the light doesn’t just go out the logo, it also comes in the logo. So for exemple with sunlight on the back of your monitor you get this floating Apple logo in the middle of your screen, as if it were being displayed there as a watermark, on top of the content you are actually interested in seeing on the screen.

Cause they’re on that 420p dslr camera quality. I get that having a dedicated graphics is important, there is a trade off in that it drains your battery so that really wouldn't make much of a difference for me. I think I'm going to purchase it this weekend. Thanks for the review!

@@notchmaster7889 its also a lot more, a lot heavier, and inconvenient to travel with. Plus most people don't need the dedicated GPU unless you have specific tasks that would need one. People know if they need a 16 inch, many people just don't.

I think audio professionals who prize portability are a big market for the 13 MBP, especially if they have a larger setup already for editing video. Def agree it would be super nice to get the dedicated video card and front facing camera upgrade - hopefully next year

Many games are native to macOS and you can run every single game natively in bootcamp. I´m gaming daily with 150+ fps (CSGO,overwatch etc) on my 16in company macbook pro. If you have zero clue about something, why even comment?

That's a good point about the webcams, I have a 2017 MacBook Pro and I love it, but I also don't always like it. I've gone through two Apple chargers and the second one was barely used since I use my PC a lot more, and so I finally went aftermarket with my third charger and it has lasted me a year so far. I really wish they would have updated the webcam and screen already, they always seem slow to do something like that. Thus why I no longer have an iPhone.

crowas89 well that’s the problem. There needs to be competition to make companies evolve. When they’re is not that much competition tech and everything becomes stale. Like if it wasn’t for Elon Musk for example, electric cars and gas power vehicles wouldn’t haven’t gotten cheaper or developed smarter. We have sections in my business courses right now that talk about this and talk about the next decade will be an interesting ten years.

I'm using base 16'' model for about 7 mo and so far I replaced the space bar. It was my fault it think as something trapped in. That was an easy 10 mins fix at the apple store. They popped the key out, cleaned underneath and installed a new key. I love this thing but as you mentioned it's too big to carry it around all of the time. I wish Apple can put a dedicated GPU in the 13th inch model.

I purchased the 2020 13 inch 256g and my wife got the 2020 air. Both are amazing, Only area I find it lacking is the camera in a zoom age. I gave my 16 yo my MacBook Air I purchased in 2017 and she loves it. It’s an upgrade from her chrome book. I considered the 16 inch but it was 2 heavy and large for my needs.

The higher tier has the low end like the 16”. They added the subs in it. So you even get better sound on the higher tier lol. Also dual fan instead of 1.
The Touchbar is actually so great for Logic Pro, it's nice to have sliders on the touchbar, in a pinch
I personally just got a 2020 max pro 13 inch but I completely upgraded it. Even to get the 16 inch it still was a good amount more. I am in a film program when video editing is very important. Yes I do wish I had the extra graphics but since I’m always moving around the 13 inch was an obvious choice. So far it’s working well and I don’t have complaints besides the price.
Will I buy a mac? NO, Do I want Lew to tell me the details anyway? YES

Hi, I appreciate your opinion and I was wondering if my wife and I should wait for the newer MacBook Pro 16 or just get the newest one. Although it is high in price, she feels when it is time it will be a good investment. She has a 2014 and the speaker is going out as well as it feels as if it slowed down. She does a lot of graphic design for a Christian student organization as well as works with their social media page and website and I am a teacher who uses her laptop LOL! I’ll probably just keep her old one if and when we decide to upgrade.

A lot of people asking for bezzeless screen. I just think that the bezzel on the pro is just right in size, and makes the overall look compact.
Typing from El Paso, Texas on an early 2015 macbook pro. Just bought this because my laptop's battery is getting really close to dying. Considering it gets really hot when running multiple apps, this will be a huge upgrade for me, and I really don't care about waiting another six months for a better one since my laptop might not make it for another two months or so
