There wouldn’t be any difference in sound , All the overpriced exhaust is , is a hollowed out muffler, witch is strait pipes no muffler sounds exactly the same.
@@1duramaxhd There’s definitely a difference in sound. I won’t disagree that they’re overpriced but it for sure changes the tone. If you can’t tell the difference you don’t have much of an ear for it I guess.
I just did this today and dang it sounds good. Definitely woke my 5.3 up. You are 100% right on needing to lift the rear up to get clearance for the exhaust I tried at first to get the stock exhaust out without lifting the back up and it’s impossible without cutting. I’m ready for people to forever say I have a tiny pecker now cause of how good this truck sounds. Haters will hate

sounds good , looks good 👍 muffler size affects the drone , smaller is louder bigger is quieter , just depends on what a person likes , you can run true duals with X pipe and not have drone , just depends on what mufflers are used

You need to buy new tires wheel set up, we’ve seen the Ballistics on your 18 Silverado and the new white Silverado and now on the new Sierra! New wheel set up
Sounds good, but I rather go with the Borla S-Type or Atak. Not worth the extra money. I have heard both, AWE and Borla . Save your money and go with Borla. AWE needs to have more competitive prices.
For the RAM just do a muffler delete. The resonators and 3 converter are good enough for rest of system. Did it to my 2020 ram 5.7 and sounds like a 1k system. Cost me $50 at local muffler shop. Did the same thing to my 5.3 refresh silverado and sounds like this system on the video. For me though the chip shortage made my truck full V8 all the time. No DFM so exhaust sounds good.
I got a gmc serria 2004 do they have pipes for my type and it would be cool to see your truck in person lol I’m from Georgia so not too far and always watch your videos to try to learn how to work on my own truck
sad that the epa requires so much stuff. that truck wanted to breathe with that stock exhaust just couldn’t. same thing with 16’ 5.0 when i finally did exhaust
I’m getting my first truck and being a teenager I want a loud exhaust like I want it to clap but I don’t want it to be where it’s too loud and too quiet what is a good exhaust for a budget.

Did your Sierra come with the chip missing for DFM? I just got my sand dune Elevation and it was missing the DFM thankfully.
You are truly blessed with NO DFM!! How about auto stop/start?
Unfortunately they had a chip for that. Shutting it off is muscle memory now and don’t even recall turning it off most of the time.
No DFM for me too. Full time V8. It is great.
