My nephew has a Sierra identical to the white one, his is a diesel 3/4 ton, the third pickup sounds awesome, the Silverado sounds badass with the Black widow

Right now my 5.3 Silverado has a Super 44 single in dual out but my last truck had two Flowmaster 40 series one for each side. I am going back to that next after a cam, headers and intake with a Supercharger or Twin Turbos.
I just put a dually Borla Atak on my 16' Silverado. Sounds so mean and agessive, on a cold start you can hear it a block away
Borla Atak with some long tube headers is my set up n I love it

Y'all got me tempted on taking vacation time just to get my Chevy done at y'all's shop. Was looking at the Flowmaster outlaw but sounded weak in this video. Have always done the Flowmaster Super 10 on all my trucks and Jeeps with true duals. Love the raspy loud sound of of them. How much for a dual super 10 with resonator delete?
Mate the Outlaw split system with AFE COI, JET MAS, Airaid spacer and larger JET throttle body, and it’s almost irritating. Obnoxious as hell and I love it. Cold start will wake up the neighborhood.
I took a Rough Country cat back system and replaced the muffler with a Flowmaster Super 10 . I wanted to save my stock exhaust since it is a 2021 Silverado 5.3. Sounds awesome. Especially in sport mode. No drone.
I have also Silverado 1500, just put a Flowmasterritr series 40..sounds deep which is not to load, just rite ..

I'm looking to go loud and deep for my 04 gmc Yukon 5.3 V8 and I think between the Angry house wife, the resognator one and true duals are the top three loudest, which do you recommend??

From people's prospective. What do you think a 2 1/4 in catback straight pipe should coast? Depending on states. I'm curious
I went with a borla xr1 pn 40094 for me in Mississippi you don't need cats. So I did long tubes and full 3" pipe with no cats.
I don't know what it is about those 5.3's and Flowmasters but they just sound PERFECT to me.
I know, I know, Flowmasters rust, they aren't Magnaflow's or Borla's a 5.3 isn't a 6.2, I get it.
Again it's just something about that 5.3 and Flowmasters. Perfect combination of agressive growl without being too over the top. It sounds like a truck is supposed to in my opinion.

Had mine done about two months ago. Got the r style. Sounds good. Not as loud as I had thought. Next will be a high flow third cat and hopefully shorty headers

If I wanted it mild I'd go with the Magnaflow Magnapack. But out of the group it is Black Widow for me. Still sucks that Tennessee is so strict. Just got two of my four cats deleted here in Texas and it sounds a lot better. 👍

Luckily up here in saskatchewan Canada cat deletes aren't illegal. Gonna do a cat and resonator delete with true duals on my truck. Not too sure on which muffler to get yet

I love the way they sound but I want an exhaust that comes out the back instead of the sides for my truck which it doesn’t seem many are made for Silverado
The Flowmaster CatBack setups come with everything for either side or out the back
Most muffler shops can easily whip up something custom.

The one I love the most isn't on here which is the stainless works exhaust. Mine has the redline muffler 3 inch that y's to 2 mufflers to 4 inch tips

On the black widow truck what kind of bumper does he have? I like the exhaust tip semi circle type cutouts in the bumper. I want that on my truck
Looks like the cutouts for the dodge. I like it! He must have cut the semi-circle out and put some kind of trim on the cut.
Why no links for the pre bent tailpipes
How would a cherry bomb extreme with a 3 inch in and dual 2.5 out sound on a 2019 5.3 trail boss. I had that same setup on my 03 ext cab short bed Silverado z71 and loved it.
Just make sure to delete the resonator on your new truck bc your old 03 is like mine it only had 2 cats, the new trucks have 3 or 4 and a resonator and muffler. So delete the resy and add the cherry bomb extreme in place of the stock muffler

The magnaflow in my opinion sounds great, almost like a sports car. I hate any rattle sound. Would it sound the same on my 2011 4.8 Sierra? Exhaust addicts or Anyone????

@Tatted Wilderness since yours don’t have the third cat it will sound much better, not sure what it’s like where you live but most of the muffler shops around me will let you pick a few and then put them on to let you hear them before you make a decision. I have the 2016 Silverado and I went with the flowmaster super10. Has a really nice cold start and a nice low growl, but it’s not too obnoxious when your just cruising around.

I got the Borla ATAK on my 4 door silverado after seeing one of their previous exhaust videos (or maybe someone elses lol) and I still think its the best sounding even after using it for a year.

I own a 2018 Tahoe. I want to remove the resonator and put in dual exhaust tips and keep OEM muffler. Locally shops are saying $180 to do the job. Seems a bit exspensive to remove resonator and new tips. Recomdations?
I recommend making friends with the owner of a welding shop like I did. Got mine done for FREE lol.
Keep the resonator but get rid of the muffler, sounds better than the other way around

Cat was probably clogged or broken, cheapest way is to put a universal cat on , OEM cats are over 1k to replace at a dealership

Most of the reason is to do with being able to keep sensors that go to your cat reading right so you don’t get check engine codes
