Great to see you saving such a beautiful car. I've had my Audi TT Mk1 six years and still love it to this day and I'm 56 years old and have to say it's the best car I've ever had. Good luck with your TT. It's well worth saving. Love your video and you're a natural talented presenter. Looking forward to more of your videos being posted.
9 years? Haha about 5 years it’s been stood for mate. But I get ya the front ones are ruined resrs look okay but I’ll give them proper check once I’ve got it out
Thanks for the info mate I’ll keep an eye out for this when I inspect it properly, most likely be a few problems I’ll need to sort but I’ll just take my time and get it done
I`m so glad that people around the world recognize how extraordinary the cars of the 2000`s are!!! This is an amazing well made sports car and deserves to be back on the streets for sure!!! Your effort will pay off. It will serve you well and you will have a lot of fun with it!!!Great choice, well done!!!💪🙂👌
Yes that’s the plan mate, then move onto the next car, grandads got a v6 mk4 golf sitting at the back of the pile so I might give that a go once I’ve done the TT
@@H19XNS I thought I saw the mk4 golf v6 in the background, another iconic car I’ve owned 3 Mk1 tt’s and two v6 mk4 golf 4 motions I think I regret selling the 4 motion the most out of all the cars I’ve owned. Keep up the good work! 👍🏻A little detailing tip for the mould removal, vacuum first with your ppe on, gloves mask etc make up a diluted solution of white vinegar and car shampoo it effectively kills the mould spores from coming back 👍🏻
I've broken a couple of these for parts, but they were bad ones. Were worth more in parts than paid for them as both of them were not faer off scrap price.
Andrew, the Audi TT I believe will be rising in cost in near future. The styling whether its the front or back has not aged for over a quarter of a century. Even in the cabin I find it stylish still and modern. I wish I had a lockup somewhere just to store it for future.. Good luck in turning back on the road..
Hi mate, I believe they will rise also, should be a good money maker for me once I’ve finished it and hopefully a subscriber buys it off me. That would be the best thing I think 👌
I should get myself into this stuff. But I’m not confident on camera haha i basically saved my bmw 320ci convertible from the scrap pile I should’ve videoed it all 😂 I taught myself mechanics 😄
@@H19XNS I think I will with my next project car which funnily enough I’m looking for a cheap Audi TT haha. Can’t wait to see yours finished I love these sort of videos keep them coming! :)

Mat Armstrong started on a tt many years ago and look at him now, keep going make it interesting and the subscribers will come.😊
Very true mate haha, just a nightmare getting the videos out with the job I have never home 😫
If shes been parked for 9 years id change all the tires personally. Know its a budget resto but still tyres and brakes you want spot on.

Always nice to see another audi brought back to life. Look forward to next video.
Thanks buddy 🙏
Honestly that car is in amazing condition despite the mold, should be an easy restoration
Yes it’s not to bad. Good clean and sort the broken bits out hopefully be good to go then I can get find my next project
The tappy noise usually is the downpipe to turbo gasket that’s blowing at the back of the engine. Had a few of these with that issue.

Be careful with mould I got plurcey off working on a car with mould
What’s that when it’s out? Never heard of it?
Yes I’m a pro Valeter so where a decent respiratory mask and gloves a mask with filters as can cause you some problems.
@@autospavaletingdetailing6512 thanks for the info I’ll get a mask on the go. Hopefully get the interior done in the next video 👌

I couldn’t brake it for parts, would be a shame
