Lane keep assist is a pain on all cars most just switch it off
I love everything about my 2013 Audi TT Roadster, bought it new and now 11 years later still a super car, fun to drive with the roof down, solid, just great.
Something wrong with your auto engine off.....not normal in TT. One thing I do hate is the carbon centre on your steering wheel .... but as long as you like it that's what counts 😀👍

the start/stop works only if u press brake pedal about halfway through. If you brake gently and just touch the brake it doesn't activate. So yeah u can do 3 point turns
I absolutely agree with you about lane keep assist. The first time I accidentally touched that button the feeling that the car is in control is awful. My heated seats are fine. My car is the roadster quattro

hi :) You need to change the sensitivity of your lane assist.
You can change that in the settings.
From late to early. so the car can intervene before you approach the lines.
Hi. I actually changed it the other way around as it was too aggressive. However how good it is really depends on road conditions. If the road is greasy or the markings aren't very clear it struggles. Does the same in our a5
I have a TT tdi Quattro Black Edition which is a fairly rare beast and I really love it … I disagree with the heated seats , mine are great .. not got lane assist though i did on my previous TT and never liked it .
You totally right about the boot and the first thing I do after starting engine is turn off start stop and put spoiler up , only two buttons but a good habit to get into ! 😂

6. Audi Drive Select lying that it's still in Dynamic mode from the last night you selected it. Due to emission & noise regulations cars cannot start in Dynamic mode (gearbox, exhaust...engine).
What's worse is that it still shows Dynamic being selected in the Drive Select menu. But you have to re-select it again if you want to be in dynamic.
But when you turn off start stop it's turned off even after turning off the car? Or you have to keep switching off start stop every time after ignition?
@@groundhoppingwlkp3622 not sure I understand you question. You are asking me about start stop button. I am talking about the Audi Drive Select mode. (The feature to change many aspects of the car)
@@groundhoppingwlkp3622 but to answer your question. Yes if you turn the start stop function off and then turn off the car. It will default to being on.
Start stop is horrid on any car. I bet they sell alot more starters these days.
Something wrong with your car. My Mk3 Quattro 2.0 TFSI S-Line S-Tronic has none of these problems apart from the light switch being in an awkward place. My heated seats are far too hot on max and I usually use them on the lowest setting. No issues with lane assist. Water doesn't go into my boot when lifting the boot even in heavy rain. I don't get any issues doing 3 point turns or with my stop start - my car works perfectly. Mine is a top spec 2015 model with all extras. I can see yours is low spec, not sure if that is related to why you're getting issues. I agree with you about the light switch though.
I like very much the seat heating in my piece. 2016. Fog lights are only about training... And start stop system is very good too in my opinion. I agree with other regrets.
What about freezing the windows in the winter, because car needs to move them down?
Only thing I would say your issue with the Lane Assist. If its had tracking done since new it needs to be recalibration to fix it mine works fine.
I think you have something wrong with that TT. 1: My lane assist is spot on and easy to take back control, its not meant to be auto steering but a guide in case you drop off to sleep or lose concentration. 2: Heated seats are awesome and boiling on mine, I have to turn them down, you must have an issue. 3: Agree with you on the lights, hard to find. 4: Just turn it off or use an obd11 to code it out. 5: YES, this is annoying!!!!!! All the time my boot is filled with water.

There's a plug in Carly thing that can change the seat temp.
I have a MK3 the auto engine stop when you reverse the other way is to slow the car down but not stop. Then it’s all good. The light it looks like you don’t have auto lights. But I don’t have fig light buttons as they come on automatically when needed. But anyway it’s an Audi issue that’s where most if not all of them are
Code out the start stop, just set the voltage level to a value it will never reach

I have it here in Calif. USA-- in my 2021 TT there really were no options, a lot of things are standard now and that is what you get. I discovered my start and stop feature by accident one dark night, thinking the engine was failing.

Water getting in the trunk when it rains so annoying
Water in the boot is a definite issue. Bit annoying but not a game changer. Lane assist is ok on mine but I have it turned off for the type of driving I do. (If I were driving on a lot of A roads I might have it on) Heated seats on mine are perfectly fine. Maybe not the hottest but they’re hot enough. Fog lights I kind of agree with you on but it’s not just Audi TT that this is an issue on. (I think people would complain if they were too prominent when you only use them very occasionally?) The stop start is a little bit sensitive but again, I don’t think it’s that bad.
My gripe is that I bought the car used and it doesn’t have the automatic climate control. Brand new the car was just under £39k so the buyer was trying to avoid the higher road tax thing so didn’t spec it. Can’t believe a 2019 car didn’t come with Auto CC as standard. Absolutely ridiculous by Audi imo.
I have a M/Y 2016 TTS. It does not have the latest electronic features. I don't have the lane assist or the Auto off feature. Guess I should be glad about that.
My seat heaters in my TT are quite robust. I rarely have used anything but the lowest heat setting. Admittedly, I do live in an area where it does not get very cold.
As for the fog lights, the fog lights are still difficult to find in the left hand version, but it looks like your location in the right hand drive version is much wore than the left hand drive version.
I have not noticed the issue with water in the boot. Guess I don't drive that much in the rain.
Mine is a 2016 but has all the electronics. Must have been extras
@@druztalks3651 Interesting! My is a Prestige model. It should have all the goodies. I guess there was a late update that year with more features. Can you do Apple Car Play or Android Auto on yours?
@@bobh1572 yes it has android auto car play and sat nav. However that was unlocked afterwards.
@@druztalks3651 Very interesting! I was told by the service advisor at the dealership that my vehicle did not have the hardware to support those features. That may not be true. However, I have heard that European versions do get some of the new features first. Thanks for your responses.
@@bobh1572 all audi tt's have sat nav and android auto and apple airplay as standard. They are just software locked
Looks like the lane assist issue isn't just in the TT's... I've encountered it a few times with my 2017 4M Q7 3.0T. I haven't figured out weather if the sensors must always be cleaned... haven't figured it out because it only occurred a once in awhile

Those 5 things seem more like nit picky things. A few actually seem like things that can be adjusted.
On my third TT, this model being a 2021 TTRS. No auto stop, no lane assist. If you have in mind to get a TT, go for the RS, the TT is underpowered, the TTS, well it’s not a TTRS.
Most people can't afford the RS. Plus you can just remap them for more power.
@@richardhurr31 does remapping mess up your fuel consumption or is it still worth in relation to natural consumption due to the power?
@@pramey, a remap in most cases will probably make the care slightly more efficient.
