This is part 10 in the series.
Digging in... It's starting to take shape. Time to put the long travel suspension arms on and get the various sub components together to prepare for larger assembly. In this video I show how to assemble the new rear carrier and bearings then move on to install the front end American Star Racing +3+1 a-arms along with the rebuilt 16.25" long travel Works Shocks and YFZ450 hubs/spindles for my front end hydraulic brake conversion.
My thanks again to the below companies. This project would not be moving forward without their innovation and support of the Yamaha Blaster platform and #savesportsquads

Thanks for letting us in the shop this morning. It's awesome to be able to wrench with someone so knowledgeable.
Wow this is gonna look amazing.
I'm just getting started. Just subscribed. I'm gonna make a video of the banchee new frame color. I have new AARMS and swingarm. Hopefully I can put this all together soon
I think I might be missing that one piece? I have a new chain slider for the front of the swingarm, but should I have a metal collar under it?
My chain slider feels very sloppy like yours. It is something that you would think is more snug. I can make a basic video. It looks just like what you are sharing
There should be a metal collar. I’ve seen a number of quads without them. Seems like a piece that get thrown out when people do their tear downs without knowing.
@@VermontLifeYep! I'm glad I saw your video.
I need to order this part.
Hey James, thanks for the new vid. The blaster is going to look insane. Im still having issues with the ignition and headlight wiring on my 86 trail boss. You are my only hope resurrecting this beast. Ive looked everywhere online and cant find a pic or video of how its all hooked up. I found a schematic but cant make heads or tails of it. A short vid or a pic of the way you wired your trail boss up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for the great videos. Cheers,
Thanks for reminding me and thanks for the comment.
No worries. I know you are busy. I'm just desperate at this point. Lol.
Hello Great Video , I'm interested in your content good job on it ,its cool to see how you do it and I get it Man! Ha ha just keep it up good video man! Liked and subscribed take care!

Bro this build is going to look amazing 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼Hpm powersports is lyfe
And you need the dust covers on the bottom a arms they can be super tight
Good to know. Yes, they are going to be ‘super tight. I may be able to remove some powder coat to make things work.
I love the Videos! I'm having Problems with your Choice of Colors, The yellow, Green and Black I Can See but When you add Red and Blue too the Mix, I'm Confused.
Can you give me Some insight to What you are envisioning. Please and Thanks.
Me too actually :). The red swing arm feels a little distracting. I’ll tell what gets me though is that I have blue front brake lines which match the Works shocks nicely but a red rear brake line which makes me twitch inside. I haven’t put on my blue pro pegs either which is another big color. We will see :).
Why all the mis-matched, random colors? Nice bike but starting to look clown-ish
I see where you’re coming from. It’s pretty loud at this point. The part I have the hardest part tying in is the swing arm. The red just doesn’t quite go with the rest of the pallet. I’ve thought of it more ‘Miami Vice’ than clown but I’ll have to see when it’s done.
