I love the community engagement. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to provide support insight and tips since the premier. Based on those conversations I have two updates.
    Update 1:
The VForce4 Reeds I use in this video are determined to be counterfeit. I’ll be swapping them out and am thinking about doing a comparison video. My thanks to the Blaster community for highlighting this and sharing with me.
    Update 2:
I reused the circlips on the wrist pin bearing from the piston that I had put roughly 10hrs on. Many builders recommend never reusing a wrist pin circlip as a failure could be catastrophic. The chance of deformity during removal and reinstallation raises the chances of failure even on a low hours clip.
This video focuses heavily on the top end. This cylinder has been ported and matched to a Wossner piston after a re-bore and the head has been rechambered. Lots to do to ensure it goes together well as I've stepped away from OEM squish tolerances and want to ensure I don't smash a new piston into the head.
I'll show you how to adjust the clutch free play, check your squish clearance, cover the torque specs, how to use a Crow's foot for proper torque on the cylinder base bolts, build up a quality sealed up reed cage and ultimately do a leak down test to validate your results. No 'Rev to the Moon' on this one!
I'll note that this video does not cover measuring ring gap or piston clearance but there are many videos on that already in existence.
Did you know... 83% of the channel viewers aren't subscribed. If the content helps you save on repair shop costs, and you think the quality is good, help me build the channel by subscribing and/or buying me a beer, or 2 or 3... I appreciate it.

if you take a look at the carbon fiber pattern on the reeds you can see if they are diagonal fiber pattern but if they are straight down and not diagonal they are counterfeit. hope this helps ❤

The accuracy of counterfeit parts these days is criminal, with the VF the loose weave carbon is the tell, the only difference I've found with the keihins is the china slide cutaway isn't marked and wont fit into a genuine 33 or 35 , they even knockoff the serial number and plas-tec hoses nowadays. I even got scammed on a counterfeit d.i.d. drive chain 😡
