I XC raced a Kfx450r here in the UK for 6 seasons in a row.. they are a great quad. That GT thunder linkage was by far the biggest improvement for the money I did to it, that linkage transforms the rear end and I was instantly quicker and more confident on my kfx... and get a steering damper and some flex bars on it. I've done hundreds of hours racing on one!
Chad Weinen was on a KFX b4 on a YFZ ....its awsome enough Mike is already into Banshees and 250Rs now its even more awsome hes entered the 450 scene🔥🔥
Glad to see someone else taking the time to try out FullFlight arms! We love ours. I will bet you right now that they will hold up as well as any other brand! Made a huge difference in handling on our quads, with the shock's being rebuilt as well. You should come to one of our "Quad Takeover" trips early next year. Got a pretty good crowd planning to come to the one in January. Hoping to make it a monthly get ride at different places.
Offroad Outlaws Ive had full flights on my 04 Trx for about five years and its been rode on GNCC tracks and jumped and had the holy snot rode out of it on northern Michigan trails and I’ve never had any issues. I bought a upper and lower chrome moly ball joint kit im going to change them out in the spring just as a precaution but it really doesn’t need them..
I wouldn't say ffr arms are bad. They are about the cheapest to buy but they are stronger than stock. But you hit something with the FFR arms, they will bend some and stay bent. Chromemoly will flex and spring back under the same conditions. Also chromemoly is stronger at .083 wall than .125 wall mild steel
I think the kfx was a rare pick & a good one the only way to go more unique would be the tecate 4. Ps my engine will be you know were tommarow woohoo! Wow that's one hell of a give away
Good to know about the new ownership in full flight! Also you should check out jls motorsports. They make a nice billet bottom stem plate with a replaceable bearing for these things.

I had my 400EX shocks completely revalved and resprung by Rocket Ron. My racing improved so much after that, a bunch of guy from my series (District 14 ATV XC) sent theirs to him. He does great work.
I was sponsored by GT Thunder in 08. They did the suspension on my trx and sent me a linkage. No comparison to stock and I loved them. The friend with the factory can am said he thought it rode better than his.
Junk is junk. There is a few affordable options.Asr,fireball Alba, And Avenger.That is just a few. These company's have been around many yrs and offer better products at a better price for the average sport quad rider then Full flight.
Facts! I made the mistake of buying full flight elite arms. In one year I bent a lower(landed flat in the sand) and the balls joints were slopped out. Now I have been running houser arms with fox floats for about 2 years. They are 100% better.
I was watching your channel before Justin's an I honestly wouldn't vote on the top quad because from my perspective it was a team I know has potential Rock on driver!!
I personally had the old full flights. The arms themselves were solid. It was the GARBAGE heim joints they used that were complete trash. Had the old owner send me 3 different heim joints 3 different times and they kept coming back bad even before I had used them! Glad to see the switched to the ball joints.

I was a dirt wheels subscriber back in the '80s. What I remember, almost every modified quad was wearing a pair of full flight a arms. Back in those days I believe those arms could take more abuse than the factory frame suspension mounts . I would not have hesitated to run them back then or now. People should let the parts speak for themselves and not be brand name snobs. I can afford roll design suspension components, but I believe I will be purchasing a set of full flight just to piss off the haters.
Well hey...if ya wanna buy & run those cheap, heavy mild steel Full Flights then go right ahead. I'll gladly stick with my MUCH BETTER quality & performing Houser's!!
Yep the kfx is know for the lower steering stem problem my brother had that also he had a new bearing but the mount was slightly bad walsh sells a very nice one
Painted those shock springs but left all the rust! WTF? And left that old disintegrated bump stop? WTF? I woulda been kind of pissed unless that was free ... or REALLY Cheap!
Dude do not waste your money. Do some research and you can find better Arms then those for the same money or less.You cat beat houser slicast arms for the same money.
I miss my walsh/fox kfx. I won both the neatv b class on it. Would love to build another one. There is no other option other than Walsh as far as I'm concerned

Hey bro I have a 1988 Honda TRX 250X yeah it's not the 250R but it's still a quick fun bike it's basically stock except I put 2 in wheel spacers on both front hubs and also put a slip-on DG Muffler runs drives great Kickstart only wondering what would you recommend for the best upgrade I could do also have the six pack rack in the back in the front bumper aftermarket runs great but I'm looking into suspension parts and extended a arms that way I can eliminate the 2 in wheel spacers 4-in in total let me know I would love to get this bike totally restored but juggling bills and a four-year-old daughter makes it tough let me know what you think? I would really appreciate it

My thoughts exactly. I'm not trying to rag on the guy, but if your work is going to be showcased to thousands of people, then put in the proper effort. Those bump stops, the corroded clickers, the dirt stains, the worn cadmium. I know the dude hooked him up, but damn! I bet they ride nice, though.
You said the bad ones were the legacy series then I look up at my quad that I just installed brand new A-arms on today and see that they are in fact legacy series. Fml man.
The Legacy aren't bad. He said that the legacy are more like the old A arms. They fit better than the older A arms and are welded with a TIG machine rather than a MIG machine. You also have the option to upgrade the him joints if you wish. I am looking for A arms for my Banshee and Full Flight legacy arms are on the short list of possibilities
I have a raptor 660 with extended a arms and extended swingarm but the reran seems to be lower than the front in the matter highway adjust it is there any options I have to fix this because I would like the rear end to be higher up a little bit

You should do the “big three” to the KFX. It really wakes it up. A Fuel Customs Intake alone will make a huge difference.

You should upgrade to the Trangahese Design or JLS MOTORSPORTS steering stem bearing plate for about $160. Pricey but nice units
