The app also has a premium feature that cost $6 a month and you can play challenges. Great video though, I’m looking at buying a home simulator in the coming months.
I've been experimenting with the app. I've found that the setup distance can have an impact on the readings. If it was too far away, the numbers were lower.

Does it work if you set the phone up in front of you rather than behind you? I was thinking that having it behind you would block the swing motion whereas in front of you it would get the club full swing

It'sapple only. I wish it were Android. But Apple gets everything 1st. I can use my tablet I think (although I dont have a tripod for it like my phone)

I like your video you did a while ago with regards to the square driver,which i used at my best. I struggle with driver now i was wondering if a low spin shaft in a square driver may plug the gap
You know what would be useful, using the camera to figure out Club path and face angle like the HMT. That would be a game changer. Forget about launch speeds. There are enough tools to do that much better than a phone.

I downloaded the app and I was so hopeful that it would work but was disappointed haha 😂 said my swing speed was 141kmph and ball speed of 182kmph with an 8 iron 😂
@@AliTaylorGolf Come on Ali... the first shot you had a ballspeed of 119, it had 113.. then you hit it 2mph faster at 121 and it showed 111.. two miles slower than the last one. Garbage. Its not remotely accurate. I can forgive club head speed since most monitors struggle with that, but the ballspeed should be at least close.
MUCH better use of an unused garage/storage area..smart..I did the same with my formal dining room! :-)

That´s 87 mph club speed and 113 ball speed. Average tour speeds with an 8. Good for You!! :)
