Hello pranjal, Informative video there, Could you please help me with a query Is there any actively managed fund in any category which has given more return than the nifty 50 index funds consistently for a period of 10 years? To the best of my knowledge there isn't any fund which has outperformed the nifty 50 benchmark consistently for 10 years. Please take some time to answer my query. Thanks in advance!
Rule 1: Dont listen to market rumours, even if its from a brockerage house. Rule 2: From 9-4, Dont tune in to CNBC, or other stock channels, and definitely dont listen to stock brockers calls during this time. Rule 3: Dont be jealous. Invest only on companies u know and those who has a strong balance sheet. Rule 4: Have patience, market favour those who can wait. Thats about it.. if u want to create wealth. If you want to trade..then do what i have asked not to do.
I think you got it wrong. A mutual fund house may do well for few years and not perform at all. When u look for 15-20 years term if ur fund house does well initially and then fails to beat index then ur screwed. U can't shift to another fund because of large money and ltcg. 5 years ago l&t used to be good mid cap fund now axis does better. U can't guarantee that a mutual find house will perform for next 15-20 years. While index funds or etfs will do as much as the index does atleast. This is the reason to choose index fund over a active fund.

An active fund's performance is completely dependent upon its fund manager. For long term perspective, if that fund manager is changed the performance of that fund will definitely below its benchmark!! For me Index funds are good option, that you will be investing on country's growth.
just wanted to check if you agree that any active equity MF in long terms of 5+ years has rarely beat the index returns, in that case shouldn't we always invest in Index ETF/Fund if we have a very long term view ?
Index funds have given 12 percent average yearly returns past 10 years so don't worry, Index funds are safest fund They will give you around 11-12 percent year on year return
In this video , you have used terms like small cap index fund, large cap index fund etc how it is possible? As per my knowledge index funds can be only of 2 types. the one which invests in sensex 30 or nifty 50 companies, the latter is more common. in broadly termed index, there are only large cap companies. Also, varun Malhotra (IIM Ahmedabad) has prepared 3 videos on index funds. His views are exactly opposite yo that of you. He says, index funds are not popular in foreign countries, but can be opted in Index context. He says " know nothing investor "should always prefer index funds. Also, he has given reasons why AMCs are nitvrecommending index funds. You may not like the comparison. Also, there can be differences of opinion. But, what about retail investor when views of 2 experts are 180 degree opposite?
Is it wise to split my investment amount for index funds between two "Nifty 50 Index Funds", so that I can gain from past performing fund like UTI & lowest expense ratio fund like Navi. -> UTI Nifty 50 Index fund expense ratio: 0.2% -> Navi Nifty 50 Index Fund expense ratio: 0.06
The most important aspect that people miss out while selecting index funds are its Tracking Error. Its that important as the expense ratio of the fund. The index mutual funds which have the lowest tracking error in long period of time i.e. like 5 years, investing there should be your long term goal. And as per tracking error, i have researched that UTI index fund has one of the lowest tracking error and its one of the oldest index fund. Plus if you select 2 index funds which both invest in the same index i.e. Nifty 50 isn't a great decision in my opinion. This is because it defeats the purpose of diversification as you are investing in same portfolio but twice. That is the reason why experts suggest not to invest in both Nifty 50 and Sensex simultaneously. As it doesn't provide any diversification to the investor. Pro Tip :- If you want to diversify your Index invest a far better strategy would be in investing in a Nifty 50 Index and a Nifty Next 50 Index. The former invests in first 50 stocks listed in NSE which are mostly market leaders giving you proper stability and good returns in long run. And the latter would invest in top 51-100 stocks in NSE and it will surely give you better returns than Nifty 50 as it has higher growth companies. So you will get better returns on a long run with it. Hope my answer helped to solve your query brother. Happy Investing :)

Index fund ko details me sikhne ke liye😧😧🤔🤔
agar index fund me smartly invest kiya jaye jaise girte market me to bhut jayada return ayega. kai to normal return dekhke kahte hain itna kam return balki ye return free float market ka hai ham to badhte market me bhi lagayenge or girte me bhi to acha return ayega or jayda return kamana hai to lumpsum kariye
Pranjal you are doing good thing.
Keep it up bro
My best wishes..
Thank you so much 😀
Very good information and simple explanation 👌👌👌
An active fund's performance is completely dependent upon its fund manager. For long term perspective, if that fund manager is changed the performance of that fund will definitely below its benchmark!! For me Index funds are good option, that you will be investing on country's growth.

Sir aap sahi ho lekin invester agar market girne par extra sip kare to.
Maine index fund Liya hai. Please iske bare main jaroor bataye
just wanted to check if you agree that any active equity MF in long terms of 5+ years has rarely beat the index returns, in that case shouldn't we always invest in Index ETF/Fund if we have a very long term view ?
yup, always
Nah, if you're young, take SOME risk

Goal hai paisa kamane ka. Index funds & Active funds dono me invest karna chaiye.
Index funds have given 12 percent average yearly returns past 10 years
so don't worry, Index funds are safest fund
They will give you around 11-12 percent year on year return
When to sell? Make a video on it
Sure
Yes sir iss topic pe please koi video banaye....

-> UTI Nifty 50 Index fund
expense ratio: 0.2%
-> Navi Nifty 50 Index Fund
expense ratio: 0.06
