thanks for this! btw, when you got in, do they only confirm your appointment outside? Cause a friend told me they will look to see if you are booked for an appointment on their system when you get inside, as well. I'm shocked at our people being so rigorous 😂 So is this true?

They are two different documents. You can check your email to see if they sent it there also
Nothing in my mail oo! On the wed site I only say the Appointment slip. I have not seen the acknowledgment slip and don’t know where to download it from. How did you download your own acknowledgment slip please? 🙏🏽
I think it was downloaded after I payed. Don’t panic about it. Just take along your appointment slip and confirmation of payment also when you go for the appointment

Hi. Thanks for the video. I am renewing my passport in july in London and among the list of the requirements is Acknowledgrment Slip from the Nigeria immigration website. I have actually completed my registration and paid the fees but I cannot locate the Acknowledgement slip. Please can you kindly direct me on how to get the Acknowlegdement slip? Otherwise did you also submit the acknowledgement slip while renewing your passport? Thank you.

Another question is when u get to point of biometric do you have to submit ur old one to get the new one or do they attach the two together will u be out of passport till the new one comes
You get your old passport back on the appointment day.

But I made a payment also but not reflected, so I couldn't proceed to booking my appointment. But unfortunately have been debited but in my statement was written pending, to be reversed on the 25th if the the recipient do not....
Please can you state the requirements again. Especially the amount for the postal order stamp needed.

Hi! datnaijagirl, thanks so much for your video on this renewal process. Please could you clarify for me.....is royal mail bag same as paid special delivery envelope, same as C4 special delivery? 🤥. And the postal order....just to be sure because ive booked an appointment already.
So what you need from Royal Mail is
- special C4 delivery envelope (yes it’s also paid special delivery envelope)
- postal order in favour of the Nigerian high commission

Ok. I think you should go with both, but you may only need to submit the new one. Confirm with the staff at the centre on that day, but go with both just in case

Yes you can do that online, but post office will only collect cash for the postal order. Don’t know if that’s peculiar to my city
