That audience is filled with some of the top Gospel singers, many of them award winning performers themselves. They were not just listening, they were watching in awe. He may be the best tenor I have ever heard, that includes Pavarotti. He may actually be the best overall singer I have ever heard.

I’ve been listening to David for many, many years and it never seems to become ordinary. I'm proud to say that I sang with the Gaither's in concert while i was in college (with our concert choir.) It was an amazing experience. We also got to sing with Larnelle Harris (different concert). It was a very moving experience. My favorite part was rehearsals with Larnelle. One of the pieces we sang was Steal Away. It was during his Unbelievable Love tour.
David is an amazing solo performer! He also has amazing performances with his daughter Maggie “Water” & “”Five Little Fingers” & also with the Gaiter band “Let Freedom Ring”! His entire family is very gifted! Enjoy!!

The pianist, Anthony Berger, is absolutely amazing, but unfortunately passed away at the age of 44 from a massive heart attack. You probably haven’t heard of David Phelps, because for many years he’s was a part of the Gaither Vocal Band and a big part of the Gaither homecoming videos.
