julio got rich too young. the big contract extension didn’t need to happen this year. he’s not running as hard this year. he carries himself like he’s a super star and it’s annoying to witness cause he’s producing like a below average mlb player
I also think the tweaking of his swing that happened during the offseason killed him. He does not lift the ball anymore every time he makes contact the ball is just hitting the ground.

Clearly they found a weakness in Julio’s bat. Which is don’t give him a 4 seam. And he needs to stop bringing so aggressive at the plate.
