Yeah, don't forget about AJ Barner. He and Noah Fant have made significant contributions the last couple weeks. I'm real happy with what our TEs have been doing lately.
Thanks for the Schlereth segment. He is really great with plenty of humor. Regarding the stats, in week two the Lions out gained Tampa Bay 463 to 216 yards, time of possession 34 to 26 minutes and lost the game. Turnovers 2 for the Lions and 1 for the Bucs. Thanks for the segment.
It's ok. entire networks overlooked them because they paid no attention to them. That is the way all teams hope for so they can deck you in the mouth when you aren't looking.
Hey, was listening to an angry Cardinals guy, and he said he respected our play in the loss more than all the wins. Of course he wanted us to lose, but it sounded genuine. It's a lot harder to see how it is from inside the storm🤷♀️
The good news is that it’s still very early in the season, and the Seahawks will be getting back those injured players relatively soon, and the Seahawks' next 4 out 5 games are at home.
THE BEST QUESTION IS, NFL WHY HAVE THE SEAHAWKS HAD TO TRAVEL TO DETROIT THE LAST 2 OR 3 YEARS IN A ROW🙄..ON THE ROAD, , ITS TIME THEY SCHEDULE THE LIONS TO COME TO SEATTLE....NEXT YEAR, FAIR IS FAIR👏👏👏
We beat the Lions in all those categories because their offense was so potent, compared to our anemic defense, enabling the Lions to score quickly with huge chunk plays. So those stats don't accurately reflect the nature of the game. However, our offense did an excellent job and was effective enough to defeat most teams in the NFL, furthermore, Geno Smith had the best game of his career and proved he is a legitimate top tier QB!
Kudos to Detroit they were the better team would have been closer to some obvious cause were reversed. Still the Seahawks were missing too many starters
You read it right. Since 1978, Everytime the Seahawks turned the ball over to the other team and the other team's offense came onto the field for at least 3 downs the Seahawks defense never surrendered a touchdown until Monday night 46 years later against Detroit.
Thing is, all said and done, DK didn't even need to fight for those yards that led to the fumble. He already had 1st down wellll in hand, by a good few yards.
Hmmn? The Lions will come to Seattle in the playoffs. Hawks and Lions are both 3-1, but we are leading our division and the Lions are chasing the 5-0 Vikings.
how importan t is julian love to this defense and football team watch this guy he is a excelent football player the seahawks did not play the defense against lions as they played the first three games with him it was obviuos what he means to the squad does anybody seeing this besides me
One thing I've learned is none of these games are meaningless. Injuries, ugly wins, lucky wins, I'll take it! This is the NFL. It's hard! Detroit's offense is just starting to roll too. Detroit had a couple key starters out too on defense. Plus Ragnow on the O-line. So even if both teams were healthy you may have made a couple more plays but the Lions Oline is one of the top units in the league and would have neutralized Seattle's starters on the D line regardless for the most part. FYI....Kenneth Walker is pretty awesome on your offense though!
So the real question for Seattle now is, will they suffer the post-Lions hangover like the other teams have this year? Both the Rams and TB were crap the games after.
Lions fan here, always love when our teams play, it’s so good. Just happy we finally won against you guys!

Finally! When Pete was coach the TE’s didn’t do much but block. It’s great to see them finally getting some love👍🏻
Hawks had better stats on yards but fundamentals is the issue: missed tackling, blown coverage, turnovers.

I always liked the hard honest viewpoints of Mark Schlereth
Talk about a great block did you see when Christian Haynes nailed Hutchinson? Worth the watch!
It was Gipson #50 who was covering Goff on that TD. 🙇🏻♂🙇🏻♂🙇🏻♂🙇🏻♂

Goff in the huddle: " even i could run a route on this D. Watch this"
4 guys in one position group (the D line) .
technically 5 in the front 7. Three of them are listed as linebackers.

It helps when there is a 14 pt swing when the refs miss not one but two tripping call on the DK fumble.
A couple of plays from changing the momentum and stealing one on the road even with the stack of injuries; loving the new schemes Hawks!

Seahawks backups got playing time and are better for it
Practice squad did well 😂
Love the Schlereth knowledge, always great radio. Love your guys show Wyman and Bob keep up the good work. #CAAAAW

Just like the huskies this past weekend, win all the stats but the score.

That record that the Seahawks held since 1978 of not letting their opponents score the first possession after turning the ball over really hurt.
What?
Write that stat down into words that we can look up on NFL stats.

It was like 22 games or something not 40 years
Hot take, those are the two best NFC teams
Lmao he did look like Bobby Boucher
Goff has just always played the hawks well remember when he owned us on the rams😢 Go hawks it was a great game to watch
I love how no one mentions how Metcalf was blatantly tripped on that play where he fumbled. Rewatch the play!
Thing is, all said and done, DK didn't even need to fight for those yards that led to the fumble. He already had 1st down wellll in hand, by a good few yards.
Couple of very questionable PI calls on DK and Lockett would have helped change things. Whatever, on to the Giants.

As Lion fan, Seahawks has all the potential. The sky is only the limit. It feels good to get revenge finally guys.
Dominate in the run game? 80 yards?
Lions we're down starters to
They don’t wanna talk about that
NOT ALL ON THEIR FRONT D LINE...IF LIONS HAVE THEIR WHOLE FRONT D LINE OUT THEYD GET GASHED TOO..
They had a lot of yards because they threw it like 80 times
With all the injuries on defense, the Detroit win was meaningless. Goff had a "perfect game" against a defense that was 50% benchwarmers.
