    Hey, thank you for the video! I'm at a tint place right now waiting on my appointment and trying to make sure I made the right choice with carbon tint. I can't justify the cost of ceramic and it sounds like I don't need to worry about it after all. Ive had carbon on another vehicle for three years and it still looks great and dies a great job of blocking heat. Phenomenal really, so thanks for confirming my suspicions with the extra cost!

    Some points that need to be considered are 1) Which tint plays better with polarized sun glasses...think carbon will have less rainbow effect than ceramic 2) What hue does each one appear at an angle ceramic tends to give a subtle green appearance where carbon has more of a subtle grayish hue

So I can get it tinted, they usually won't pull you over around here for it, BUT when it comes to pass inspection every year, it won't pass, so you would have to take it off, and get it redone every year smh so idk what to do!!! Any ideas???? Would be greatly appreciated!!!

    No one seems to be able to explain the difference between carbon and ceramic. Seems like they both offer the same benefits

    • @Red5oh
      @Red5oh  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They are about the same. Unless you live in a really hot climate id go with regular tint tbh and save your money

    • @westside_tints8197
      @westside_tints8197 ปีที่แล้ว

      carbon does not have the same heat trapping properties as ceramic. Ceramic traps the heat at the glass and acts as a filter to stop the Infrared rays from passing through. Carbon can filter a fraction of the Infrared heat compared to the ceramic.

    With ceramic tint doesnt a blue or red color like sunglasses lens help with sun but also gives battery dynamic view?

    • @Red5oh

      Those can be equipped with any type of tint not just ceramic. The shade you choose can look cooler than standard tint while providing protection from sun. Hope this helps
