Crazy how many clueless people here are claiming an MHI Stage 2 Turbo, w/Fuel System upgrade, and Ethanol can't make 500+ WHP, with the supporting mods. That is a standard power level with those modifications, and a good tune.
Most people don't do an aftermarket turbo on an FL5 because they simply don't have the money to fix it if it explodes. Usually people just do a tune/piggybacktune, downpipe, intake and e30. Certain cars like BMW M cars, Audi RS models and even the Kia Stinger GT/G70 3.3t doesn't need after market turbos to make 500+whp. It's all done on stock turbos.
500+ is Too much power for a fwd manual hatch to be honest. Torque steer and the fact you don't need to use gears much in daily driving kinda kills the whole point of the car. You'd have more way more fun with a suzuki Swift sport with a few mods
@KyErwin-nw1pm shows you never driven a modified front wheel drive car 😂 with 520hp it will absolutely have torque steer, hell, my 130hp suzuki Swift sport does at low speed. There's other considerations in how it puts down power too like understeer. Really anything beyond 350+hp is not ideal in fwd.
@@johnstape4488joked out yeah it has torque steer but even when heavily modded it’s no where near them 90s 2000s Honda where your wheel jus goes crazy in the rpm’s you can definitely tell you never driven a type r befor shut up bro you sound dumb as hell
Way too much power for the drivetrain and it will overheat fairly quickly if you stay on throttle. Suspension tuning is also probably the worst thing about the stock car. This build exemplifies everything you shouldnt do to this particular platform, coming from another heavily modified fl5 owner
@@PrivateLabelMfg that's because you're doing pulls for the video then you just cruise. If you ran this in boost for 5-10 minutes at 60-70 degrees out it would overheat. Summertime this thing would last maybe 5 minutes in boost. You made one of the best handling sub 100k cars have 1/2 the functionality it was engineered for. But all for the name of selling people stuff right
@@PrivateLabelMfgI honestly feel that to each their own. For people like me that will never track my car, this is great for the street and those weekend mountain runs. The gearing is so long that I would love to have the added power.
You right but at the same time iv been sucking up awd cars at late night drives in 50 degree weather they spin but catch grip pretty quick they get me at first but 3rd goin into 4th im right next to them passing them up
Dash lighting up like a Christmas tree lol Like others have mention there's no way this car has 500+ hp otherwise you would hit boost and spin instantly. to me it feels like it has somewhere around 380-400 to the wheel.

They just haven't been around Hondas as much.

How many times does the phrase "533hp Civic Type R" pop up? Should we take it to the track to see what 533hp feels like?
Looks like it handles the extra power very well
It does, with even stickier tires we believe it will be even better.
All I can think about is how much faster the already small gas tank would run out of fuel.
Surprisingly not too bad...ish...

It kind of shows, you have never driven a type R.
It does have torque steer but it’s not even like you would think.

Thank Honda for thier relentless love of FWD!😮
Nice type R. My k24 EG makes similar power. 🔥🔥
Wow
What do you have for the Integra A-spec CVT? Obviously not anything in the 500 range but would be nice to push 350 and lose the limiter.
They share the same engine. Should be able to hit a higher number. Shoot us an email, we can talk about it. Sales@privatelabelmfg.com.
How much does it cost to put what this car has for everything
If you gotta ask...

Haven't hit limp mode yet.

Right. You need suspension mods not power mods
@@EricTsuThats why its called cooling mods 😒😒
All on the stock clutch?
Yep.
Is there much torque steer when accelerating through the gears?
Its noticeable, but not too crazy.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What’s the zero to 60 time on the 533hp? And how much do all these parts cost?
A little over 13k for all the parts to get it to that HP.
Will be doing a drag test once the tracks open again.
how much HP does the fender stone guards add?
So much lol
500hp in front wheel
Drive = waste of $
what car do you drive?
stock power is already limited by traction in anything less than perfect conditions.
You can really only use this much power 4th gear and up 🤡

That is not an abnormal power level for a K20C1 with an MHI Stage 2 Turbo, Fueling upgrade, and Ethanol. Do your research.
380 - 400 whp, FBO w/tune will literally get you there. They have fueling upgrades, and a bigger turbo..
We are testing something else out so hence the lights, but we can promise you. We are making 530+
Is not way that civic have 533hp is sound extremely slow
You can tell how fast a car is by sound? EV's must blow your mind.
That thing sounds DISGUSTING. And i mean BAD, awful, gross. YIKES
Who cares XD

Please don’t do it or even think about it it’s waste of money the type r have enough power in stock form
@ I agree I was going to do it for my car but it was going to be like 10k for just parts
Just to add 180hp
