Your two smiling faces in the intro say it all. Had a new yellow 2000 Integra Type R, gone now 23 years, back when you could buy and resell them for the same price a year and 14,000 miles later. Was a handful to drive. And always drew a crowd. I wore the same smile.
Oh nice! Yeah this car is surprising! Such a blast to rip on and it does everything very well! I'm sure there is a lot of carry over in some dynamics with the old Integra!
Really enjoyed this video. A lot of solid points that hit close to home. Already purchased my wheel spacers and can’t wait to install them! Look forward to more Type R videos
Was debating on the Type R and Type S but I ended up with the FL5. I love the +R Gauge with F1 Shift lights, it makes it feel unique even the Supra didn’t have a shift light( i sold my Supra mkv for practical reasons too) and the seats are special too compared to the type S. The type S is slightly faster but it didn’t have a speciality of the type R, it just looks like a regular Acura with fender flairs. The type R’s fenders are wide and molded.
I can see that! I like the look of the Integra just as much. But these seats won me over all day long! Such a fun car to be in and it just does what you want it to do! Cool to see another Supra owner trade for this!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed TR I feel wen I watch your Honda videos something about this TR is special You can’t understand $50 k this car possible proper car guys get it Unfortunately most tubers Dnt I’m sure other gems out there for less 👍
I haven't dyno'd the car. They probably ad maybe 10-20 HP overall. But tuning is where you'll get the real power out of a turbocharged car. If anything they let the turbo spool quicker to give you your power sooner and less stress on the engine
Good for the search algorithms to state that info verbally for SEO. Also if I didn't, people would comment and ask which generation it is. I can't please everyone
it's cool when you guys drive these cars in the mountains, you can really get on the gas more compared to your test drives in the city.
Yeah!! Anytime we get a sporty car, we take it here to get a better feel of the car!
I imagine a few more mods to come. I've seen some really impressive mods done to these here on youtube.
Sold my 08 s2k because I rarely drove it having two small kids. Looks like I found my replacement.
Oh cool! You'd love this. The manual shifter feels very similar and it's just a blast to throw in the turns. Very roomy in back too
no GR86 much closer in execution to the fat FL5
Same reason I sold my s2 for my FL5😅
@@user1989fopfrs7 true. But not as practical as the TypeR. Not as fast either
@ i mean it’s a civic it should be more practical than a purpose built rwd sports car. And drives nothing like a S2000 either.

Combining the DE5 damper module with some lightweight 18" wheels and meatier sidewall (I run 255/40) is wonderful. Highly recommended.
I test drive the type s. The cars suspensions is so soft. Leaning so hard in the corners. Hated it.
@@a124as If this were actually the case, I would have immediately swapped back to the FL5 module. However, this is not actually the case, whatsoever.
Oh cool! That sounds like a good setup to try out

Oh cool! Yeah this is one fun car! We have plenty of upgrades for the Type-R on our site. Really wakes these up!

the type s will be more special in the future because they only will sell them in North America
@@ShaiyanHossain I guess we’ll see. Doubt it will translate to any massive price difference tho
The first car that I learned to drive a stick in was a '91 Honda Accord. I don't think I'd let someone grind the gears on this thing.
Great to see it out on the twisties! Also, question, what cameras do ya'll use for the reviews?
Our main cameras are the Pocket 3 and then an action 5 for other shots!
great vid try out a s2k sometime
That would be fun! We’ve been in the Miata and GR86 which would be the closest to that so far.
Well is it the best HH ?
I'd say so. GR Corolla is awesome too! What's your favorite?
@ R
Which R? They all have an R in the name. Golf R? GR, or Type R?

You say 315hp but does the awe exhaust and air intake not had horsepower or is that fake news? Curious haha.

Why do people have to announce the generation their type R is when we can clearly see it? Lol

Maybe you should start your own channel and show us how it’s done.
@douglaskrueger357 "my '25 civic type R" just like you'd say literally any other car on the market. Easy. Don't need my own channel lol
