For the curious, if you fall during the king battle you actually keep fighting as Siffrin will loop mid battle back to half health (king's hp doesnt reset at all) and the first time it happens Siffrin says "No" and then "get back on the stage"

Probably has to do with the Memory you have equipped during chapter 5 which apparently, makes you loop whenever you die in battles
