What an amazing adaptation. The acting is phenomenal. Sam Reid is possessed by Lestat. Jacob Anderson gave a powerhouse performance as Louis. The chemistry between this two actors are so visceral. All of the cast gave memorable performances.Aside from a few hiccups , the writhing is brilliant and thoughtful. The music inspired. Everyone involved in the production did such a great job. It’s pretty obvious a lot of love went into the series. The genius about this adaptation is that it stayed true enough to the source material while unafraid and committed adding it’s own spin to it. I’m glad you both enjoyed it. I am looking forward to season 2.
They took the source material and threw it out the window. We got original names with all new characters all around. Pure fan fiction. Anne Rice is Claudia in the s2 scene.....afterlife or not, she's pissed and will find retribution. I will say the show is well done, especially the performances and the set design. The dialog is well written but the characters are trash and the plot is delusional.
Looks like a very divers cast. Not a good sign usually. Welp you guys gave this a great review. I hope hope hope its not some woke BS like everything else today.
Ok I just finished the first season. It was obviously full of woke indoctrination. Ultimately the whole point was to replace the Christian with the Muslim. Great replacement theory BS. I seriously doubt there was so much gay sex in the books. I wish I never watched it. No doubt the creators were getting off on tricking straight men into watching gay men kiss. God I wish they would stop saturating shows with wokeism.

You seriously doubt? So you have not read the books?
No explicit sex in the source material. Rice was romantic and flirty, this is glaring and blatant.
@@scorpionHexen No reading books is gay
There was only one gay sex in whole of season 1 .
The books is pretty homoerotic they kiss alot , confess their love , and detailed romance
