If you go back by the house that had the three old suit cases- grab the large glass dome. If its older, they go for about $150. Antiques collectors put them over dolls and clocks.
I agree. May have been decorated/upscaled to stay out in the common area of the house. And the Christmas lights are vintage incandescent (40 to 50 years old).
You passed up some good things, macrame were plant holders, I have a giant one, worth 100, bucks, I get some frustrated with you, cause you don't show us some of the goods stuff!!! Oh well!! LoL!!!
My grandfather had a huge collection. My brother foolishly let a guy take the older stamp books to look at, and an expensive stamp was taken out of the book by that guy. But my brother could not prove it. What are going to do.
Hey Taco I believe that is a sewing box that someone decorated. I shouldn't say sewing, ladies would keep any project they were working on in it. Great video and great finds.
I'm sorry for posting so much but.....the German coo-coo clocks sell for good money on ebay even broken. A lot of people buy them for the parts and/or repair.
Take that stair basket, it is good when you have stairs and want to put things in it that go upstairs. That box stand is for yarn storage when you are a knitter or crochet.
Love Taco Stacks, but this is the most frustrating video ever! Picked up $2. in aluminum and 3 ft. of copper wire and left behind a stack of vintage stamp albums and tons of ephemera and a BIG cuckoo clock ( broken or otherwise)worth big $$!! Taco...please, please, please do some ebay research so you don't just pick up the pennies and leave the dollars behind!
I like his videos but that is an aggravating aspect. The clock is a good example. If it's a German made Black Forest clock, they can be fixed. You can even order parts online. They are expensive, especially big ones with a lot of complications like that one. Age is another factor, older the better. Unless it is really water damaged or obviously smashed, it would have been a good grab.
14:26 was that an old german clock? around here even broken they can be worth something. 15:15 macramé, looks like pot plant ones. If they were old they would be worth something. But so very glad you took the barbies.
Those macrame’ plant hangers are money. They, like a lot of other stuff from the 70’s, are back. They are selling on Ebay. 👍🏻 The odd looking box, I think, is probably a sewing stand/kit. 😊
Luggage is worth some money Taco check into it there not cheap wish we could have seen the clock better looked really nice and what was in the luggage anything good ?. Thanks for sharing another good vedio. Rosetta.
Another good score! I'd love to see the box with the china you scored. Also loved that armchair you passed up. They had a lot of cool stuff there. The cases are really cool. Thanks for sharing each and every week.
Wow Taco, what awesome finds, just amazing what people throw out ,, the green step stool i have one like that , cos im so short its real handy lol ,, ty for taking us with you . Peace!
OH, OH, OH!!!!!! GREAT DAY!!! LOVE LUGGAGE! Love tins. Cuckoo clock still sellable though, especially if ornate, people will use parts. Good job today, wish you continued good luck picking!😀
Old media players like Walkman or Aiwa Walkman is the thing to find even just for parts. In the UK I sold this week a Aiwa jxm2000 personal stereo for £640 I found in a charity shop ( goodwill) for 50p... it’s massive at the moment
In my city, so many pickers began turning up making a huge mess and/or brawling among each other over items. Then the City Council realized a lot of the stuff was worth big money that they could process as in recyclables. Over night they passed laws to make it an offense to collect curbside. Home owners now have to book a certain day when the council is covering your neighbourhood with their trucks and workgang. You can only put out ONE CUBIC METRE OF STUFF which is like one old washing machine and a single seater couch, no car parts etc! Kind of sad because in the past i scored some next old stuff.
Hello Taco Stacks ! Congrats to your finds ! You have an excellent camera ..you video / vlogs is good ! Wishing you all the good lucks in your trash discovery ..yet you dont get some of the nice stuff that you can resell in a garage sale ..i love the 3 boxes with kids stuff ..
What was in that blue bag? I collect those blue dishes and plates. I also collect vintage tins, @11:55 I love that stand. @15:14, those are macrame plant hangers.
can you do a video on how you came to be so knowledgeable on vintage glassware and kitchen items. It is unusual for a such a young guy to know so much about old glassware. Maybe your mom or grandma taught you?
Wow the stuff your found is oro gold❤❤wow look the antiques ,the barbies.....this video is amazing wow taco I want tobe there too and pick stuff like you❤❤
I’m always shocked at the stuff people are willing to throw into the trash instead of donating. Where I live we have curbside recycling for paper, bottles and cans. I’m glad you’re able to keep usable items from the landfill! Thank you for what you do. I’m so glad you picked up the Barbies!
That looks like my late, great aunt's sewing basket. The roofed top boards open on both sides and a removable wooden 'drawer' for thread, needles, etc.) slides just below the (hinged) 'roof-doors, leaving a larger space below.
Yayyyyyyy!!! Ok so I must b like super spoiled by watching u cuz another picker was on my TH-camr suggestions and I watch n I’m like NOPE!!!! No one is like Mr. Taco!!!!! Not sure anyone can beat ur personality and sayings and courteousness 🤗🤗🤗 Have a blessed day 🙏🏽
In the beginning of this vlog the one street side garbage had a lot of vintage barbie stuff and vintage tins etc. It appeared maybe an elderly person passed and maybe they were emptying the house some. Do you check in books when you see that type of stuff? Many times older people hid money in books and behind paintings etc. and never told others so there could be some in those. People have found such stuff from garage sales etc in past.
Just letting you know, that coo coo clock was a good find. Many of those have ornaments that are meant to come off for transporting purposes. If it had the workings and weights, I would have grabbed it. That one looked like it was old and valuable. Not trying to tell you what to do, but I do know about clocks and just wanted to share that for next time you see one of those.
We didn't get to see in the suitcases lol. Those dressers always go for at least $100 around here. MORE if you paint them or sand lightly and put another clearcoat on them.
The piles that keep giving! and as for the dogs,if Molly hears them she has to reply to them and looks out the window to see where they are at LOL .and they put some time and thought in that vintage looking sewing box.Stay safe in all you do
Vintage guitar collector and the suitcases are the same material used in a lot of The Deco style amplifiers of the day. I also used to put books magazines that I wish to store great find. Now go get some more.
I loved that pouf ottoman thing where you found the hat box, and that was a nice looking rug under it. Does home decor not sell good at the flea market you go to? Great video.. I live trash day!
scrap vulture scores a ton of aluminum blinds because he hits dumpsters at older apartments where the blinds haven't been updated to the new vinyl/plastic crap
I enjoy watching every type of video you do. I do a lot of "Roadside Shopping" myself. If I can't use something that's in good shape I can give it to friends, family and neighbors. Like you I often find antiques and vintage stuff. You think those are barking dogs? I have a reincarnated Rottweiler. She came back as a Chihuahua and boy is she P.O.d about it! The engine in the trash truck sets her off. She'll run to the back door and the gives the guys heck that are taking "Her" trash. Then she's off to the front door to fuss at the truck cuz they park behind my van. She is very territorial and protective of her stuff, her van and her human.
Great finds.....WOW!!!! Best day ever!!! It seems people are frustrated with what gets left behind me too but you can’t take it all just because it’s there... it has to be turned into cash and you have to go with your own vibe in the moment. You have to be quick to get to the next pile before someone else. I to would have taken the clock..... great job 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 tf: 😀
Great find. Love the coke and 7-up bottles. I came across Dr.Lori on youtube and she is learning me about how much something is worth. I have some of the things she shows and I was shock how much it is worth. You can find her channel here if you like to see her channel. Strange how many people throw out old kitchen stuff and some of it is worth a lot of money. Just like the kitchen rolling pin with color handles is worth more than the ones that does not have color. You can find her channel here if you like to see her channel. channelth-cam.com/users/DrLoriVfeatured Thanks for the great videos. P/S she might have a video on the barbie dolls you founded. The dolls was another great find.
Oh yeah that was a score I love barbie dolls as a adult woman lol 😂. Oh man I would of taken those plates for myself the ones with those big cups I love big cups for coffee ☕️ but cool 😎 finds .
Congrat for bring home SALSA 🐶🐶 can't wait to see the video where TS bring the puppy home ...ladies he not lonely anymore ..he got his best friend already 💃💃
HATS and T-SHIRTS have been restocked for the fall! Sizes Small - 5XL NOW AVAILABLE! Thanks for all the support! www.etsy.com/shop/TheTacoStacks
Taco Stacks, are your tee shirts 100% cotton or 50% cotton & 50% polyester? Thanks!
You HAVE to do a hat and shirts with TACO STACKS AND SALSA...HAVE TO!
How much for the 5XL T-Shirts TS.
What brand is the shirt? Thanks!
Taco Stacks can you get long sleeved and extra long t shirts? Would love to wear with leggings. Great finds!
If you go back by the house that had the three old suit cases- grab the large glass dome. If its older, they go for about $150. Antiques collectors put them over dolls and clocks.
Yup. They're called a glass Cloche. Only if they're antique & hand blown are worth alot. But still a good score to grab.
And those cloches are worth good money, very much sought after, and very fashionable right now
I can't believe someone threw out those Barbies.. makes me mad as a collector. You should have taken the clock and stamp books for sure.
When you forget your bin, why not just pick up an empty box from the garbage and use it? Or a basin like the green one where you got the suitcases?
Or any one of the suitcases you left behind...!
"probably not filled with stamps" i mean, you won't know if you don't look..
Those macrame things were plant holders, real big in the 1970’s...
Millie Marky - yes macrame plant holders that held potted plants. They were quite popular and are still fine decor for mid century modern decorating.
Very very trendy at the moment
You are right
They are again.
If u forget bin, pick up a cardboard box at trash stop!!
Dude... love your videos... But you took a broken lamp and left an easy $100 clock. just my 2 cents... take care
That old luggage with the oak ribs, is worth over $100! I have 3. Great score Taco! 👍❤
I think the box on the stand may be a sewing box. Just a guess.
I agree. May have been decorated/upscaled to stay out in the common area of the house. And the Christmas lights are vintage incandescent (40 to 50 years old).
my g ma had one like it but u decorated, sewing box
Sewing box that someone decorated. Probably worth more without the decorations.
Its a sewing box. I have one. Might try decorating it a bit like that one.
Yup, my grandma had one as well.
You passed up some good things, macrame were plant holders, I have a giant one, worth 100, bucks, I get some frustrated with you, cause you don't show us some of the goods stuff!!! Oh well!! LoL!!!
Always pick up old papers. Looks like old horse racing papers left behind. Some old racing ephemera can for worth hundreds $$$!
Always check stamp books. People do not know the worth of stamps. You never know
My brother sold his stamp collection for $70,000.00...he started it as a kid...40 plus years of collecting.
My grandfather had a huge collection. My brother foolishly let a guy take the older stamp books to look at, and an expensive stamp was taken out of the book by that guy. But my brother could not prove it. What are going to do.
In future, document any items of value and photographically record them as proof of ownership...!
Patricia Hazeltine, That's great!
tangomoggy, Very true. I told him that.
As he left it I kept saying he picks up weightless scrap metal but leaves cuckoo clocks lol
Cuckoo
I hope he sees this so he know next time even if something is broken a big ticket item still grab it for parts to put on his eBay shop
@@david666martin yep was thinking the same thing!
And the skis also the tent.
We would never get away with putting such things out for the garbage truck.
Love these vids. I was hoping to see what was inside those old suitcases. Shucks!
Take that stair basket, it is good when you have stairs and want to put things in it that go upstairs. That box stand is for yarn storage when you are a knitter or crochet.
The "Some kind of swing" was actually a pair of macrame potted plant hangers. I'd have given you good money for them.
Good
Not to mention he didn't even look at the glassware. Some of that stuff could be worth good money.
Yup. Left a lot of 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮’s on the table not to mention flea market/swap meet stuff...
Youre so right.
14:26 was that an old german clock? around here even broken they can be worth something.
15:15 macramé, looks like pot plant ones. If they were old they would be worth something. But so very glad you took the barbies.
yeah that barbie set up is worth 100 around this way
OMG I can't believe you found those two boxes of Barbies.. as a Barbie doll collector I would be screaming now LOL
But he left three stamp albums behind without even looking to see if there were stamps inside...
The box on a stand is a sewing box. They junked it up with gluing stuff to it.
Absolutely a sewing box.
Rosetta.
You need a partner to go with you. You're killing me with the tins though.
You should answer more on your videos, like comments and the like.
Peace!
I like you always find a way to fill that van. I enjoy your videos ! Good score, dude.👍
And he fills it with scrap metal grates, screens, curtain rods and crutches while leaving really good stuff on the curb.
It always surprises me with the stuff people throw away lol
I donate almost everything from old books to a library, old sheets to an animal shelter because its stupid to let all this stuff go to a landfill.
That was a beautiful sewing box! Great finds.
The oil paint case was awesome. The box on a stand was an old sewing box and it looks like someones craft room threw up on it. "very Pinteresting"
You know, old oil paint ,if opened ,they dry out. If acrylics ,they are isles. I hope they are oils .
OH, OH, OH!!!!!! GREAT DAY!!! LOVE LUGGAGE! Love tins. Cuckoo clock still sellable though, especially if ornate, people will use parts. Good job today, wish you continued good luck picking!😀
On the 1st stop you should have grabbed all those coffee cans and tins for scrap
I really like how you try to keep your pick over neat when you leave.
Hi Taco, I love you videos. I just want to say, thank you for making them and showing us how to live the dream!
What was in the old suitcases? Great finds!!!!
The old suitcases are awesome Taco Stacks! People love those for displays & photo shoots & stuff! Good call!
Those were not rope swings. They were vintage Macrame hanging pot plant holders. Very popular, especially those with macrame Owls.
Cool finds today. Love the Xmas lights, and the vine box stand thing :D Nice work Mr Taco. :)
I know steel isn't worth much but in the first stop you left coffee cans a curtain rod and the metal shelf that you had in your hand.
Vintage coffee cans are collectible and sell decently on eBay. He passes on so much stuff!!!
@@CFBJR1979 how vintage? I'll assume Folgers room the 80's isn't vintage?
If you search "1980's Folgers Coffee can" in sold on eBay, it might surprise you. :)
I think the macrame was potted plant holders. Really back in fashion now!
Should have picked up the Koo Koo clock.
Old media players like Walkman or Aiwa Walkman is the thing to find even just for parts. In the UK I sold this week a Aiwa jxm2000 personal stereo for £640 I found in a charity shop ( goodwill) for 50p... it’s massive at the moment
I noticed when i tried to buy one lol
i ask my dog the same thing every day. what can you possibly be barking at. too funny
Your so curtious, clearing up after yourself😁. Really enjoy all Your video's. X
OK, totally hooked. Just caught myself talking to the TV while watching. Boy, one of your treasure troves liked the ponies ;)
Hi Taco good seeing you enjoy going on the picks with you , i am watching the videos that I have missed lately Peace mildred!!!
This guy would leave a box of money on the side of the road and take the banana peels.
Hard Bathsalts Lol
Agree!😂
Totally agree but probably doesn't have the storage or knowledge to what the things he leaves behind are worth in reality.
He does!! He leaves all the good stuff behind! Thoes macrame is hot right now. Each woul fetch $30 bucks easily!!
In my city, so many pickers began turning up making a huge mess and/or brawling among each other over items. The stand with the ivy wrapped around it was an old sewing box. You made $100's today Taco! So happy for you!
Seems to me all he is looking for is scrap metal instead of collectable resale items that he keeps passing up
I loved the video, great finds, I thought the old luggage was very cool! Thanks again for the video!
Is there ever a day when someone isn’t throwing out Christmas lights?
The clock mechanism along with the Bellows that makes the cuckoo sound are quite valuable
I used to see Dyson Vacuum cleaners thrown away all the time
I love vintage tins too. Good resale value, especially for the English ones.
Great video. Yes the box on the stand is a sewing box. Nice finds.
the bag with the tent would have been a great Yardsales resale item
Dude! That was like a 3 to 500 dollar cuckoo clock if it was complete. Those tops are meant to come off for transport.
Tis the Halloween season! That first bag you unzipped, I expected heads to roll out into the roadway and imagined bodies in those suitcases.

That old luggage 😍
That box on stand looks like an old fashioned sewing box. Think my Mamaw had one like that. Love your videos and you.
I wish i could keep watching this videos but this type of camera gets me really dizzy lol
The stand, I think, is for sewing items (threads, needles, etc.). Keep up the good videos. Thanks.
Wooden thing with cherubs looks like a old sewing box I once had. You keep thread and small sewing supplies in it.
Wow the stuff your found is oro gold❤❤wow look the antiques ,the barbies.....this video is amazing wow taco I want tobe there too and pick stuff like you❤❤

Great video nice picks, great find with those Barbies. Should have used on of those empty boxes since you forgot your bin.

Ooh good idea! I've also seen old ones planted up with fairy gardens.

Your random “toilet paper holder” is a sewing cabinet. I want that white wooden chair!
The place with the old tins.... they had some great stuff, and the old man liked horse racing. I bet he had some nice racing memorabilia.
The case on the stand might be a sewing stand. My husband's grandma had one something like it. Good score today!
Man that leather suitcase you left behind looked really nice, was in great shape
Shouldn't have passed on those yearbooks. Sell on eBay!
You have that big truck and leave behind some good stuff. Wish we had places like that in South Carolina
