I have to mention, as others have, that the tiled floor in the salon is so beautiful, thank goodness the vandals didn’t damage it. The welded door to keep the electrics safe was a smart move. 😊
Those tiled floors (known here as hydraulic tiles that are very sought after) sustain much more abuse than any other modern tiled floor, I know from experience as I have them in my kitchen and hallway from my 100+ year old house.
We know why they welded that basement door shut and thankfully they did too. You have a heating system that is complete and probably still usable too. Wow. Nice! Those floor tiles are actually beautiful as well. Lots of salvageable parts and pieces that are still there. Have a great day
I’m 5’ in, and it’s great just to see you sweeping the floor, removing most of what, decades of dirt? Almost immediately, the place begins to reveal some of its charm!
The welding was very obviously done “like a fly that poops” on purpose so it would eventually be opened up again at a later time. I love the fact that time is now and being captured so wonderfully Thank you so much ❤
The tile is stunning, wow, when that floor is cleaned and polished eventually it will be spectacular. There was so much space behind that door. The stonework of the walls are truly amazing. You are the owners of an extremely special place. ❤
The floor tiles are SENSATIONAL! I love that you are meticulously keeping (and cataloguing) any part of the chateau that will help in its renovation. Just clearing out the rooms bit by bit and cleaning them will feel like some level of achievement and make the renovation of the chateau so much nicer to work in. It is great to see you opening up some of the hidden pats of the building, but I hope that you still have enough security in place to prevent these parts from being damaged. It would be heart breaking to give vandals access to areas they have not been privy to. It is hard enough to battle the elements without the extra damage by uncaring idiots. Good luck! I am hooked on watching your journey.

Find a room with no windows that can be secured and use it as an equipment room for all of your tool and other supplies. @ true. This building has been abandoned for 40 plus years. So the municipality did it the easiest way they saw fit over the decades to keep people from trashing it
This really is a beautiful château and there are so many elements that are still intact so you can see how it was before it fell into disrepair and was vandalized. I love that tile floor in the entryway. It looks like it’s still in really good condition, so hopefully you can save it. It will be fun to watch you. Bring this old beauty back to life.
What a shame such damage was done to the gorgeous Chateau, but if anyone can bring it back to it's former glory, it's you folks! I am so looking forward to seeing how you fix this.
This place is AMAZING! So unbelievably well built and the technology they had back then is unbelievable! I don't think we have the ability to build structures like that today! I think there was something going on back then that is being hidden. Hiding history seems to be the thing that whoever controls the world loves to do. Almost feels EVIL. Thank you for ALL YOU DO MY FRIENDS and GOD BLESS 🙏❤️✌️🙏
So glad Billy is filming for you, he’s doing a great job. Sadie revealing the floor shows how beautiful it is. It’s so sad the chateau was not secured to prevent vandalism.
You may want to buy good vacuum cleaners with HEPA filters and also trays and boxes to organize little bits of the building you find, so you can organize and find bits in years to come. You may want to start notebooks to document where you find these architectural bits too, rather like how archaeologists document their digs.
I thought I recognised Billy's handiwork and direction in this video, I innitially gave this video a wide berth as i thought it was Katie Price's cash cow/err project, by the title. i wish you well but to use that name as Katy Price is poison (allegedly) may limit your viewership and therefore subs.
It might be in your best interests to remove the mortar and do something of an exploratory look into that old brick arch, as if there is a fireplace still there, you could further restore the chateau back to its original layout, while also adding more to the room.
I never understand why Vandals vandalize things. Especially places so beautiful. That floor is really stunning indeed. Good work folks, you've got your work cut out for you! Cheers from Canada

They said we can find the history on Wikipedia
Stan don’t get angry they were trying desperately to protect the building. Also Stan your knowledge of history and a multitude of subjects is amazing! Remember what ever sloppy it was done to save not destroy
There’s other ways to protect the building without ruining the current units that are installed
You two are going to have a magnificent chateau in a few years. I am going to enjoy every minute of it’s resurrection; from Mexico City.
Just the beginning of discoveries.
Stan the man and Sadie the lady. A well suited couple for sure. 😊 Can not wait to see you guys bring this old girl back to it's full glory. ❤
So glad the mechanicals were under lock and survived. Hopefully, all will require minimal updating.👏🏻👏🏻
We are watching your videos from Wisconsin in the USA We will be watching all your videos. You are doing an amazing job you guys!
The TLC you are giving the old girl is already showing. Love the floor in the entry hall. ❤️😊
They certainly did their best to secure it with all the welding but online content creators will do anything to break in to these places.
You may want to buy good vacuum cleaners with HEPA filters and also trays and boxes to organize little bits of the building you find, so you can organize and find bits in years to come. You may want to start notebooks to document where you find these architectural bits too, rather like how archaeologists document their digs.
Billy? I thought Ryan!?
@ I’m actually thinking it’s a team effort 😉👍🏻
I love Stan's humor. "They welded like Barbarians."
Wow! Lovely floor under the dirt! Keep safe ❤️
