This is a very ambitious mod that was achieved with help of multiple modders in the community, notably the Call of the Abyss devs (Appa for applying the effects on bosses, KEZ for porting BB enemies, and many more people who made this possible!). Who would you like to see fight next?
Aldrich v BB foe (doesn't really matter who it is, so long as they get Arrow Rained **the mightier the target the better**). Likewise, Moon Presence v. DaS3 foe (same, just about the vision of DOOM being tested **as with Twin Princes**). Perhaps Yhorm, Midir or Gael pit against the top contenders from the other brand. Set up BB's best against gimmick CHADS like Wolnir, Deacons, Sage, etc. See the AI fumble to find the right targets and frustrate those rooting against the nonsense (even if they win eventually). It all works. Do whatever. Not sure how Frenzy will be translated when it doesn't exist yet in the case of Ebriatas. Does Slow Poison just translate to PSN? Fast Poison as BLD? How does Dark DEF work for those in a game without it? What DMG type is Blood? If DRK. MIDI would choke down Maria even more convincingly than is already assured. Speaking of her, there are some obvious match-ups that the trailer for the mod highlights (worth considering).
I love that they're almost always at each other's throats the whole time. Some of the pairings can get a little slow when bosses are far away from each other and all they do is walk to break the distance but these two are just going at it.
>lightning Worthless. The howl would have just gotten him killed for doing nothing and leaving him open for an extended period. >blood bombs These would have helped if he opted to hop around and toss them. If he was just staying in the pocket as he is now, I don't get the impression there would be any change.
Gael has the "anime fight aesthetic" where he starts out using almost no power but by the end, in his "true form" he's a fucking god Orphan however is just a ceaseless, rampaging nightmare lol
Heres a fun fact for the wheat reading. Cursing only gives off that certain vibes when youre under lucifers dogmas and bondage. otherwise it sounds like if a random guy made up a new word and wanted to get it popular so he kept on using it and saying it whenever and wherever, over and over. Cuss words or phrases symbolize something to fallen angels. Its a exclamation towards their dominion over u in all areas of your life. They link it with "issues of the heart" so when you brandish it you unknowingly spread the satisfaction of their dominion while expressing the contents of your heart. So u shoot out a "middle finger to your own self and God while feeling satisfied." It's there way of saying, "we're dominating this fool, and he/she doesnt know it." The demons in u make it give off those different vibes. Otherwise its just a brain ded useless word. Theyre all useless words and phrases. Theyre highly unnecessary and simply sound stupid. PS it carries no weight or significance, just perversity.
For wheat under lucifer's dogmas and bondage that walk around thinking women and their behinds look "plump" "juicy" "thicc" etc etc hang on to this too lol just know that that feeling, vibe that it gives off or "heads up" is just a demon in u. He changes the way u naturally view a woman's body or women in general. It'll always be carnal. Since you've read this, they'll give you the other variation, which is dull, scientific without appreciation. It's supposed to be the way you'd respond if you saw a nice car, house, scenery etc she'll be extremely beautiful. You'll be astonished. It won't be carnal. They will now alter the vibe the word beautiful gives off. So, forget the word beautiful for now, she'll simply be a knock out. And you'll be a knock out to her. You also won't have trouble talking to her/him, and there will be no flirting. Flirting comes from a spirit of seduction, manipulation, domination, and there's another word but can't rmbr atm. That word is defined by advertising yourself as a source of "intimate relations." can't say the s word on TH-cam. There won't be any bodily advances, just two people naturally and genuinely interacting with each other while sharing the contents of their heart, things of interest etc. There will be no sin in the relationship that u both have. Take the L fallen angel. Lol, u pleb. Edit: odds are you've experienced the other variation many time. Those moments when you're watch "adult" stuff and the folks starring em aren't your fancy, they don't have that "ompha ompha" or aren't "hot" Since I said this, they'll try to justify obesity, anorexia, lack of a female shape, lack of a male shape etc etc. That's also them hindering the growth of the person's. 99.9% of the stars in those films are just them acting btw masquerading as people.
A god who crawls screaming from its mother’s womb and a man who’s lived thousands of years beyond death. Neither should be able to stand, but by sheer rage and power of will, they tear at each other to the last drop of blood.
In reality both games are extremely similar and built on the same engine, that being said it's still very difficult to import the textures, models, animations and scripted event(s) (such as phase 2)
I legit have never cheered so hard for Gael before. That final burst of souls saved his life and helped him get the final hit. Such an intense battle. Orphan may have been too difficult of an enemy for him to fight straightforward, but Gael showed that he will go to any lengths to finish his lady's painting
But tbh…..Gael did get corrupted and strayed away from his objective since he was now just collecting the dark souls and the blood for himself, to make himself stronger- A case of getting high on stuff he was supposed to deliver (lol). Thats why the girl sends us to find him.
@@blackmane1999 I don’t think that was ever stated or implied. He was still trying to get the dark soul for the painting. It was only after he saw that he had the blood that he went hollow and relied on the ashen one to kill him and bring it back.
@@blackmane1999 No, not at all. A person goes hollow once they lose a sense of purpose. Gael is implied to be one of the oldest beings we meet in Dark Souls, and his purpose was to serve his lady. Once we came in, and was asked to bring the painter lady the Dark Soul, and once Gael achieved it, he lost his purpose and went hollow, as he relied on us to bring it back to her and we replaced him as the one the lady was counting on for the soul. This thing about having a purpose to not go hollow has been around since DS1. A good example from that game would be the crestfallen knight, who kept from going hollow because he found a new purpose other than linking the fire: to instruct the undead who escaped the asylum to go ring the bells of awakening. Once you do that and go to Anor Londo, and get the lord vessel, he becomes pointless and you find him hollow in New Londo. Gael's hollowing is also further hinted at by one of his moves, where he explodes and lets out a bunch of souls that touch the ground and summon lightning. He has a dark sign still and is leaking his humanity (the dark soul) out really fast.
@@timeforamazingchest5271 gameplay purposes. Same reason why Demon Clerics and Crabs respawn. By lore we know that once a person goes hollow (Horace, Anri, Seigmeyer, Seigward) they don't come back.

One by themselves is hard enough, but both? You'll be combo'ed into oblivion once the fight starts, unless they're made to fight each other you have such a small chance you're not getting either to phase 2 let alone kill
That doesn't seem to be the case, seems to me that he gets staggered by almost any of the Oprhan's hits, and Orphan doesn't receive the same stagger :P which i why i think he lost
I love that final comeback gael has, shows that flame of ambition he's gained through all his time spent, he really feels like one of us chosen undead, putting in his all with every blow till the end.
The music in the background, the screams from the Orphan, the strikes of lightning from the deranged Mall Santa, and the coolest arenas they fight in is probably the most entertaining boss v boss fight ever
Gael really turned it around once he was able to do his big dodge moves, since it really fucked with Orphan's accuracy and let him drop some big damage in short bursts. Let's go Demon Santa!
I’ve never fought Gael but I know from experience the orphan literally never gives you a second to breath I was literally shaking by the time I killed him
I knew when the Berserk theme kicked in after the first bout that Gael would probably carry the day in the end, since he's basically the closest thing we have to Guts in Dark Souls since Artorias. What a close and epic series of battles, especially the final fight! This is such an amazing and impressive mod, truly incredible getting to see two of the best bosses the Soulsborne games have produced in their illustrious history duke it out like this, it's a pleasure to enjoy.
@@Thaumtron Damn, great point, Miyazaki may have legitimately drawn from that when conceptualizing the Orphan's lore! I really never contemplated that...
@@thedoomslayer5863 It's mostly the way he fights. Giant greatsword wielded in a berserker style, cloak that has demonic powers and morphs around him, a repeating crossbow, some similar moves in terms of combat acrobatics, and even some aesthetic aspects that are shared. Thematically, he's struggled through the ages in the same way that Guts struggles through his own journey, and it just makes sense that Miyazaki wanted the final boss of Dark Soul's entire trilogy to be an ode to the protagonist of the work that shaped the series so damn much. Obviously there are other Guts expys of sorts across these games (Artorias always being the obvious choice in DaS), but I do think Gael has a fair bit of him as well.
Gael: Higher Dps at later stages, less health, easier to stagger Orphan: does not stagger as often, lower overall DPS, higher health pool by almost 4k.
Lower dps? Really I found that gael did a lot less damage, orphan just did one combo on me and I died, an entire combo didn’t that much to me, maybe I just had a lot of dark resistants or something.
Moveset, Lol. For me orphan was harder it took one night to beat him where as i defeated Gael on my 4th try but gael moevset is next level ngl, Bro just jumps around and have speed tho

This is incredible, being able to bring AI and movesets between games like this. Really, quite impressive. I'm surprised at how evenly-matched they were. Glad to see it. Now do Orphan v Glock Saint Ishiin!
Even taking Gaels third phase DPS into consideration, Ook is literally a monster. He was tanking hits that are designed to fuck up the player. Great matchup though. I look forward to trying out the mod. I was made aware of it a few weeks ago. Looks good.
Yeah but this is kinda unfair because orphan of kos is in ds3 not in his own game maybe if it was the other way around Gael woulda got his ass kicked by kos
@@CITYZEN50 I agree. Kos was not using neither of his 1st phase or 2nd phase AoE moves in the fight. Never did his lightning thing as well. Gael had his complete moveset the whole time.
@@lorencelaflair4306 Well half lies, I was wrong about the phases, forgot he has three not two and enters the second one earlier that is true, sorry about that. But doesn't change the fact that Orphan is missing attacks.
In my headcanon this is what the end of Berserk wouldve looked like had we live in a better timeline. A deformed, battle-worn, sombre Guts and a gross, decrepit, manic Femto fighting in the ruins of Griffith's false paradise, then the fog-covered realm of God, and then finally the Hill of Swords in an Eclipse. Gael was an absolutely fun and heart pounding experience to fight the first time around. His strength, difficulty and story was a fantastic ending to the series. He may have handed my ass to me but I had a great experience. Kos on the other hand was and still is one of those bosses that still scares the absolute shit out of me. Having a crazy moveset, terrifying aggression and that ear piercing screech. I was within an inch of beating him my first time around and got him in my second but it was some of the most serious I had played until then. Neither of them will be as difficult as the first encounter but in the end I always have a fun time with both but for some reason I always feel bad fighting Kos
Props to garden of eyes for starting with the final bosses of both series Most modders would put this to last Hope we get a sekiro vs bloodborne vs dark souls bosses soon 🤙
Dark souls and Bloodborne were made in the same engine which is likely what made this possible, I don't think sekiro would be realistic but hey fingers crossed we can hope
This was amazing for so many reasons. 1. Orphan is from a faster game (by a little bit). 2. Orphan has almost a third more health (~26% more) These are the real in-game NG values btw. 3. Gael staggers constantly. 4. Every round was incredibly close. I’m surprised Gael won, even though he’s my favorite boss. Orphan is so fast. I would’ve thought Gael would be stunlocked. Great video.
@@123NERDZ Gaels 3rd phase is not faster at all. He is the best boss in Dark Souls series, but he was never the fastest and most difficult to beat Imho.
Just the way they look to be dancing around each other yet also being brutally aggressive at the same time is just amazing. I swear From has come to master making fights more than any other gaming company out there.
Isn't it weird that the two most powerful beings of their respective worlds are just... a maddened slave and a lonely orphan? No grand titles, deific status, sacred missions or glorious destinies, just a decrepit old man with a rusty sword who desperately wanted to achieve a quest that had long since lost it's purpose, and an otherworldly abomination that was never given a chance to find a purpose at all because the hunters who killed it were threatened by the very sight of it. That's pretty depressing, methinks.
@@hatefulgaming1800 Gael here is stronger than Gwyn at his prime. He absorbed most of the Dark Soul, something that Gwyn himself was super afraid of. But I am not sure about Orphan being the most powerfull of his universe. First because he was never actually born it was just his remaning conscience making the nightmare, and second because we have other great ones that werent as explored in Bloodborne's universe like Oedon.
@@clrl936 He absorbed all of it except for one last fragment, which is you yourself. The player. I think that easily rivals Gwyn in terms of power. It's just that the power overwhelmed Gael and mutated him into the giant beast he became when you fought him, so his power wasn't refined into the same warrior/king skill that Gwyn would've had.
The Orphan jumping around like a flying squirrel on acid in its second phase is what saved Gael's ass in the second and third rounds as Orphan kept whiffing its attacks giving Gael time to counter. Awesome fight and awesome mod.
Slave Knight Gael was such an incredible experience for me. He helped me fully embrace my twin big boy swords after losing to him a few times with my go-to weapons. Haven’t looked back since. Thanks, Gael, for a truly incredible fight.
People are saying Kos is missing his projectiles but I think they are still there just invisible if you look closely at 4:45 and 7:34 Gael still takes some pretty good damage even though the orphan just reaches into his weapon
@@l_ctrl1334 Yes he did. You see him reach into his weapon and throw his hands at Gael and it does massive damage, the projectiles are just invisible for some reason.
The problem with OoK is that it doesn't normally get stunned unless shot. Then there's Gael, who gets stunned every few heavy hits (which is all OoK really does). This seemed to only cause Gael's loss in the 1st round. But, in the end, that's really just BB vs DS logic in the end.
If Gael was powerful enough then he wouldn’t get stunned so easily. It is part of the character and not an excuse for dying Also part of ooks move set wasn’t working. There was no lightning and his projectiles weren’t working either which is the reason he lost the third round because it shows him throwing the acid but none coming out
@@berryamv2296 it isn't an excuse. It's game mechanics. And yeah, OoK couldn't use his ability due to it being DS and not BB. If this duel took place in BB, Gael wouldn't have any of his projectile abilities either, which he heavily relies on more then OoK relies on his lightning, acid or placenta throwables.
You don't even know Bloodborne well enough to comment. Orphan gets stunned all the time. Four consecutive pizza cutter or Ludwig's bae blade hits and he staggers, sometimes less. Yeah if you play like a coward and just circle around and hit only once, he doesn't stagger. But he staggers about as easily as Gael.
@@berryamv2296 Wrong. His moveset is 100% there, it just isn't animated. This is the same with some Bloodborne unused bosses. Look at 4:45. He's using his grenades, and they deal huge damage exactly the way they would normally (they hit twice in close proximity). Nearly 1/15th of Gael's health gone in a single hit. You don't see them, but they're there.
I totally thought Gael would lose every time, especially after the first fight. The AI in these games doesn't use intelligent defense, so battles between them are basically about who attacks more often. Bloodborne being a more aggressive, action focused game, the enemies put more consistent pressure on you.
People seem to underestimate just how much more aggressive the ai is in 3 compared to the rest. It may bot br fully to the extent of bloodborne but some bosses do come close especially in dlc. Gail is a good example of that getting more and more aggressive as the fight goes on.
Wow this is sinply amazing, so entertaining to watch. I had my money on Gael, but was sweating a little bit when he lost thefirst round . Orphan's attacks seem to be quicker, but Gael moves way more unpredictably.
@@thegatorhator6822 you're right! He has godly damage output in his final phase, there's no way you can expect to not dodge his attacks and survive. Kos wasn't dodging anything, just getting clobbered with those heavy hits. The thee hit combo did like 2300 damage to him. Gael would kill anyone if you don't dodge that attack
This was so close , orphan clearly had the upper hand with higher damage and also being able to poisebreak gael so easily but third phase gael just kept staking up insane damage especially with the explosion attack and ended up killing the orphan by that At this point it would make sense if we see midir vs orphan
I mean if you consider that Orphan has an extra 4K health it really wasn’t that close if they had the same health orphan just straight up would not be able to win.
>Midir vs Orphan As things are now, I don't see that working out too well for Orphan. Midir is a huge target, but I don't think Orphan's blood bombs are going to do a lot for him. Not sure how the babby would react to DRK DMG in terms of DEF given that doesn't exist in BB. That's entirely on the modder to balance. Newborn likely would do too well against being cheese'd with constant AoE fire (AI like to swing at Middy's feet) or the flight version. Bite would be worthless. With the huge HP increase, the only thing that might be of note against der dargon would be the crappy scream that doesn't work yet. I'd rather see lil' Kos Jr. go up against Aldi. See how many matches it takes for the devourer to get beat up just enough to use S2 arrows (for another sample of pin cushioning). He's a small, mobile target with high stats. Would HE be able to survive it? Maybe some meme bouts like Orphan versus Deacons, Wolnir, Crystal Sage, etc. Really, to change gears, Flora's 'penance stare' of Doom should be pit against things. Would it just send Gael to S2 (and insta-kill if hitting in S2 and beyond)? Twin Princes should have a good chance against it so long as aggro for it is kept on Lorian (if it hits Lothric, they lose). Aldi would be the battle of the OP attacks. But getting back to the Placenta Wielder, how would he do against Yhorm? Not sure what damage type Blood would be according to the modder. Is it MAG? PHY? DRK? Convergence would say the latter. Fortunately for Old Yeller, he doesn't use fire (worthless). His yelp won't get him bodied at present, either. I just don't feel it likely he can survive the onslaught (mobile and tanky as he is) of chops. Would he be able to crumple the giant enough to reasonably expect some body and even head shots? Hard to say. If not, he has no chance. There is much fun to be had as BB (and Sekiro) foes are realized for such tournaments. For now, exhibitions are fine.
maaaaan the last round was super close, my money was on orphan, but i feel like uncle gael got more hits in.. anyways thank you garden of eyes, call of the abyss and the whole modding community for making this possible, you guys are awesome!
That ending of the last round was just infuriating. Gael was standing still, the Orphan just needed one more hit to win, he's following up with a second plunging attack AND... he misses. HE MISSES. And then procceeds to get stunlocked by the dark soul projectiles until he dies. Fkn anorexic newborn casul smh my head
@@JP-mr1hn absolutely, orphan has around 4k more HP, hitting just as hard, but his attacks are way faster than gael's, and yes, the granades would've ended the fights even quicker
Damn straight orphan was a joke in comparison when I played bloodborne I spent like 2 hours on orphan before I googled tips someone said to stick to his left side and most of his attacks will miss beat it first try after that such a dumb weakness. Gael’s only weakness is for you to git gud.
It fits too, considering Gael is like Guts, and the Orphan of Kos is similar to your typical Apostle from Berserk that Guts would struggle fighting but win in the end ultimately.
Gael has insane DPS in his last phase. The Orphan is lucky he dodged a lot, else the fight would've been over a lot quicker. It also helps that Gael's attacks are mostly consist of wide swings, perfect for catching dodging opponents. And his cape adds damage and range, too.
OoK didn't have the arcane egg placenta attack and the lighting attack, he just stood still giving many free hts to gael. But the fighting was amazing anyway.
@@ranbojd1070 Also true. People often forget that Gael gets nerfed against all enemies due to his lightning doing single digit damage to even enemies weak to lightning. Sulyvahn took like 7 damage from 1 strike once. That guy gets ruined by players lightning attacks.
@@bluethunderbolt9631 And if OoK AI was better, he would have won too. Specially in the last round, in the last seconds, you can see how he misses his jump attack while Gael isn't moving, and then, instead of hitting, he just stops there. If they fought another 3 times, the result could be different, but that's what happens when you mix 2 games xD
I stopped breathing when slave night Gale was at the lowest health and orphan of kos looked like it was about to beat him until he pulled out that move and then slashed at him and beat him and I was like OH! S*** !
It's interesting that these fights played out similar to how Lady Maria and Eileen played out. Both Gael and Maria had "reserved" beginning phases that let them get hit a lot, making it harder to overcome late-fight dps. Gael even had the disadvantage of staggering easier too. Orphan is a pain to stagger, just like Eileen. Fun stuff though.
Goddamn both of these boss fights are the pinnacle of both games. Both start off really fast yet at a pace that the player can understand at first, but when they get to they’re later phases, they seem so crazy and unpredictable that it almost seems like it’s impossible. Yet, you still learn, you get them down pat, and when you defeat them, you get this brain explosion that makes you just get up from your seat and yell in pure joy. These are the perfect bosses of their own games.
Bruh most badass? Artorias kicks ass with an arm that isn't even his sword arm, meaning throughout his years as a knight he never trained in combat with that arm, and he only uses it cuz his other arm, his actual sword arm, is broken. Ludwig just jumps around swinging wildly. I would say Artorias has way more skill as a swordsman. For Bloodborne bosses, Lady Maria definitely also has the better swordsmanship....
@@ravenyoung9504 Gael literally existed to the end of the time lol, he's definetly up there with Artorias skillwise, probably better tbh the way he flips is just as good.
@@ravenyoung9504 I take it you've never understood Bloodborne's lore. Artorias is actually rly good in fighting, but Ludwig's second phase he doesn't hit "wildly" that was his first phase. I want heyZeusHeresToast to fight them both at the same time. There was a Bloodborne randomizer he did one time where the 3 Shadows of Yharnam were replaced in their boss fight by Orphan of Kos, Lady Maria, and final phase Gascoigne.
@@korokseed1619 He sucks at the other Soulsborne games too. His skill in Bloodborne is by his own admission purely due to hours put in, not natural talent. He's got like 8K registered hours on it, and more offline ones and jailbroken ones. I've seen a lot of streamers like that. Even PvP'd and ran through these games with some of them. They'd have like five times the amount of hours in these games, but when they actually play it as intended and not like running through a memorised script, suddenly the veil kinda comes off. It was a little disappointing for me to discover that many of these gods in gaming run on pure repetition and memory rather than reflex skill and talent. Meanwhile I can open a brand new game due to peer pressure from my friends and beat them at it even if I don't like it. Some exceptions who are just good at games in general are guys like Faraz Khan.
I wonder if any bloodborne boss could beat Midir? Geal may be the final boss but I've heard that FROM referred to Midir as their "magnum opus" ( not to mention he's immune to staggers, has massive damage combos, excels in both crowd control and nailing small single targets, moves really fast, has mega defence, and *LASERS* )
The only boss I can think of that could beat Midir is Moon Presence with the death blast. Otherwise, I feel like Midir is otherwise too strong for an AI to beat.
I doubt it the only boss who can kill Midir even part of the time is Aldrich and that’s only because he has the one attack that was basically designed to one shot Midir his Arrow rain and he might not even use it.
@@championofthedarksoul4200 well Moom Presence has an attack that force sets health to one, so I'd imagine Midir losing very quickly if he doesnt blast lasers and flames all over before Moon Presence does the Ohko blast.
Can we just agree that both of these bosses are just so badass and well design. Plus you know that the bosses are so damn good when no matter how many times you die against them, it makes you wanna keep on fighting them and you don't rage once at them.
I always found the BB DLC bosses to be a fuck ton harder than DS1-3 DLC bosses. Slav on SL1 was not too hard, but OoK on BL4? take my ass and fuck it Can't wait to see more cross game boss fights now.
I think part of that has to do with the arena designs of the two (Orphan's has a lot more objects that can make the camera spaz out) - albeit the fact that orphan did not have his blood bombs or lightning attacks helped Gael a bit (in terms of staggering - not so much in damage).
I'd have to disagree, orphan and Maria are extremely easy to parry, and what with the healing visceral rune being bugged for orphan, you never have to use a blood vial. Living failures are harder to parry, but still easy. Ludwig is very exploitable, and his second phase is just weaker. Meanwhile I'd say even the gravetender great wolf is harder than the orphan, demon princes are more difficult than any old hunters boss minus laurence, and even then I'd say midir is harder. Halflight can be easy, or a nightmare if you're against a competent miracle build, so I wouldn't count that.
@@poliorice3600 @Polio Rice no ,in my experience not. Demon princes were one of the easiest fights in ds3, a game that lacks difficult bosses in general. Gael is ultimately saved from Orphan's massive DPS tracking attacks by landing hits from those multiple projectile explosions and lightning strikes during his final stage. If not for that, Orphan would have him, EASILY. This was a great one to watch. Thanks!
His skullsplosion did a lot too plus his phase 2 combos can do like 2k damage so yeah it’s a miracle that Orphan could win one at all if they had the same amount of health orphan wouldn’t stand a chance.
@@championofthedarksoul4200 rly dude? why are you so concerned about this hp? the orphan has as much hp as he has in normal bloodborne end. your logic is that if this boss that normally has 2000hp would have 3000hp, he would win with 3000hp. but for the boss with 2000hp it's a buff so it's not a fair fight. the orphan has 19 k hp end of topic. I will even say that the orphan was treated unfairly because in normal bloodborne when he shakes, he has a different animation that lasts much shorter and the one in this video is an animation when the orphan is attacked from behind and then again hit by some attack. then this special much longer sway animation shows. so in my opinion this animation took the orphan all 3 victories because I am sure that if his animation was the shorter one, he would have won it easily. even the last moment in the 3rd fight can show that the orphan was stunned and took all the blows because his animation was long enough and if his animation was shorter, there is a great possibility that he would get out of this situation alive and kill gael because it was only one hit away from victory .

This is amazing. but one thing that I keep thinking about, we can see in the base game how Gael's lightning in the 3rd phase only deals 1 damage to him when it strikes, and your fights have shown that the same value is applied when it hits other enemies and bosses. Is there anything in the files about why this is? Is it a feature of the lightning, or do enemies/bosses have very high resistance against environmental hazards? Does the Orphan's lightning have the same effect?
This is a very ambitious mod that was achieved with help of multiple modders in the community, notably the Call of the Abyss devs (Appa for applying the effects on bosses, KEZ for porting BB enemies, and many more people who made this possible!). Who would you like to see fight next?
Soc vs Gehrman would be nice
Maria vs 3rd phase Friede
Martyr Logarius!
Aldrich vs Ludwig

Cuss words or phrases symbolize something to fallen angels. Its a exclamation towards their dominion over u in all areas of your life. They link it with "issues of the heart" so when you brandish it you unknowingly spread the satisfaction of their dominion while expressing the contents of your heart. So u shoot out a "middle finger to your own self and God while feeling satisfied."

And Orphan having 4k more hp than Gael, I am glad we can see why Gael is so badass.
@@TheCh0wderp but dont u think he got hollow just because of that?
The scary thing is, that since the Ashen One isn't here, Gael would just respawn at the bonfire and try again.

Dude. That was intense. Keep this up. I'm loving the crossover battles
Yeah I'm used to AI vs AI fights in games being super janky but this was honestly cool as hell
This was really cool as always! That beginning scene with Orphan starring at the eclipse was very cinematic
Wow this is sinply amazing, so entertaining to watch. I had my money on Gael, but was sweating a little bit when he lost thefirst round . Orphan's attacks seem to be quicker, but Gael moves way more unpredictably.
Gael's damage output in his final phase is what did it.
This fight was eerily beautiful. Nice mod! That final round had me on the edge of my seat.
This was so close , orphan clearly had the upper hand with higher damage and also being able to poisebreak gael so easily but third phase gael just kept staking up insane damage especially with the explosion attack and ended up killing the orphan by that
At this point it would make sense if we see midir vs orphan
I mean if you consider that Orphan has an extra 4K health it really wasn’t that close if they had the same health orphan just straight up would not be able to win.
@@championofthedarksoul4200 but gael has alot more defense than orphan
>Midir vs Orphan
As things are now, I don't see that working out too well for Orphan.
Gael was lucky the Orphan's grenades don't work otherwise I think he would've lost all 3
That ending of the last round was just infuriating.
@@guilhermeg.rodrigues1248 gael pressed the win button lol

Holy shit when the "blood & guts" came on, ze goosebumps!
Placenta vs broken blade
I love how quickly it turns into an anime fight when they’re both in their final phases
What an epic fight! Gael always had to play catch-up after his transformation and it always came down to the wire. Fantastic! Thanks for that 😁
man, i was legit cheering for my boy gael, glad the monstrous santa won
Damn straight orphan was a joke in comparison when I played bloodborne I spent like 2 hours on orphan before I googled tips someone said to stick to his left side and most of his attacks will miss beat it first try after that such a dumb weakness. Gael’s only weakness is for you to git gud.

Santa had my vote for being a representative of humans. Orphan is some foreign...thing. Another pretentious 'god' brought low.
The slave knight may have won the fight but the great one won the battle since orphan didn't show other attacks of his animations
i love the use of blood and guts from berserk in round 2
It fits too, considering Gael is like Guts, and the Orphan of Kos is similar to your typical Apostle from Berserk that Guts would struggle fighting but win in the end ultimately.
I must be honest, I didn't expect Gael to win a single one.
@@Teleleco_do_ifood the dark souls lightning does 1 damage to all But the player if It was balanced to damage OoK Gael would have still won
I love how Gael, a normal human being imbued with the power of *the* dark soul can contend with a literal eldritch *god* . Freaking epic.
- contend with a literal half-developed embyro of an eldritch god -
I was waiting for a video of DS3 vs Bloodborne bosses for quite some time now.
You guys are awesome. Keep up the great work!
Gael will always be my favorite boss in the series.
I stopped breathing when slave night Gale was at the lowest health and orphan of kos looked like it was about to beat him until he pulled out that move and then slashed at him and beat him and I was like OH! S*** !
Same, Guts for the win.
Gael truly has the power of God and Anime at his side
7:54 that explosion and flying slash combo tho
dude you are the gold standard for these types of vids. great job and thank you!
1:27 I see Orphan of Kos learned Instant Transmission from Goku.
It took bringing another overpowered boss from a different universe to finally give Gael a taste of his own medicine
The sheer ferocity of both gael and the orphan could literally tear anyone to pieces, even the most experienced hunters and undead
Gael: "I want your dark soul."
Orphan: "And I just want my mom!"
I want to see Slave Knight Gale versus Ludwig, the Holy Bade for the battle of the most badass swordsman in the Fromsoft games.
@@ravenyoung9504 Artorias is overrated tbh. Yeah hes cool but he just got his ass kicked. Cool Dude indeed.
He regains his humanity and fights till the end with honor and dignity, dexterously using his holy blade. Artorias won't stand much a chance imo
That wouldn’t be a very balanced fight Ludwig simply doesn’t have anywhere enough DPS to even come close to Gael’s level of damage.
I want heyZeusHeresToast to fight them both at the same time. There was a Bloodborne randomizer he did one time where the 3 Shadows of Yharnam were replaced in their boss fight by Orphan of Kos, Lady Maria, and final phase Gascoigne.
Yeah that would be amazing
I remember how mad he got at chat during that stream, he was so tilted 😂
Dude is amazing at Bloodborne but sucks at Monster Hunter.
This battle is really epic. Thank you and all of moders who's work was necessary for creation of this video
The Guts vs Griffith battle we waited. RIP Miura sensei.
Would love to see more crossover boss fights.
Gehrman vs soul of cinder
Already seen it , 2 life of soc were too much for Gherman to handle .
That was close as hell man, I honestly thought Orphan had that in the bag with his stupidest large health pool, but gaels DPS is crazy good 👍🏼
I wonder if any bloodborne boss could beat Midir?
Orphan of Kos staring off into the darksign is a visual I didn't know I needed
Bummer there’s no mesh for Orphan’s wings, he looks really goofy with them ridged.
I always found the BB DLC bosses to be a fuck ton harder than DS1-3 DLC bosses. Slav on SL1 was not too hard, but OoK on BL4? take my ass and fuck it
Can't wait to see more cross game boss fights now.
I think part of that has to do with the arena designs of the two (Orphan's has a lot more objects that can make the camera spaz out) - albeit the fact that orphan did not have his blood bombs or lightning attacks helped Gael a bit (in terms of staggering - not so much in damage).
Gael on SL1 took around 6 tries, Orphan of Kos on BL4 took over 200
I'd have to disagree, orphan and Maria are extremely easy to parry, and what with the healing visceral rune being bugged for orphan, you never have to use a blood vial.
Gael is ok, takes a few tries but noone should ne more than 10-15 in first playthrough.
Orphan, Maria Ludwig and Laurence are all hard af, and laurence remains hard if you git gut.
Failures is just a pushover, i think i died to them twice in 10+ playthroughs.
How is gravetender difficult? Its a pushover imo.
Friede is hard.
@@poliorice3600 If you think the gravetender, the worst boss in dark souls 3, is harder than OoK, i'm sorry. Don't use a faith build, i guess. Gravetender is a terrible boss. Demon Princes is pretty simple, Midir is a ton easier than half of the other DLC bosses in the souls series. Halflight is only difficult cause it is a bullshit and boring fight. Second worse boss, id rather fight tree balls. Only dlc boss in ds3 id consider hard is sister fridge. But shes easy to exploit.
I was rooting for the Orphan but gael pulled such an amazing reversal that my support went for him as well.
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. THIS WAS EPIC, INTENSE, AND COULD HAVE GONE EITHER WAY. FRIGGIN AWESOME. THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC BEYOND COMPREHENSION. THE SCORE, THE SCREAM, BURSTS OF LIGHTNING, CHAOTIC MOVES, DESTRUCTION, JUST STUCK IN AN MASSIVE FIGHT WITH NO HOLDING BACK, AND CONSTANTLY PUSHING WITH NO ROOM TO LEAVE. WOW!! MIND BLOWING.
This is outstanding!!!!! Well done to any and all who took part in putting this together!!! Great work!!!!!!!!
Gael is ultimately saved from Orphan's massive DPS tracking attacks by landing hits from those multiple projectile explosions and lightning strikes during his final stage. If not for that, Orphan would have him, EASILY. This was a great one to watch. Thanks!
*Our loyal undead boy won from 4k HP behind.*
I'm telling you, that Lightning is a game changer.
@@kacperernest3474 if BB was on PC
The fight will have showcase all of the orphan animations
That's the problem but hey at least the fans know that he is a lot tougher than Gael
@@brawmankerlexterminateurde860 Orphan did do all of his attacks, he misses with them and the throwables were invisible but still did damage. there is a section that shows it, I don't know how to timestamp though so I can't stamp it. He also does his air guillotine multiple times and misses at times. I will say it did seem to be bugged but then again Gale cant do more than 1 damage to anything other than players with his lightning , that fact alone kind of makes it even. If he did do regular damage Orphan would have died way sooner.
@@Reous where?
This was amazing! When do we get Manus and Ivory king in on this?
Question though, did Kos’ projectile and AOE work? I feel like they didn’t and Gael would have been slaughtered in that second fight if Kos had them. I get his lightning AOE not working for obvious reasons, but all his placenta attacks would have been nice :) still a great video though
The fact that each round that both had very low health is amazing, just really goes to show how aggressive both of them really are especially orphan
2:51It kinda looks like the Orphan is chainsawing him from the side. That's really cool.
Geal's cape looks like the orphan's wing
I think Gael generally had the disadvantage since he staggers more easily and much more severely than Orphan.
And yet despite that on top of orphan having 4K more health he still won so Gael kicks ass.
@@championofthedarksoul4200
Absolutely. Savage Santa for the win.
If only Orphan could actually land attacks in his 2nd phase. He had round 3 in the bag but he choked
@@ORCANORCA881 nah Gael just gets a huge power boost in his second phase he can do like 2k damage in his combos.
@@championofthedarksoul4200 But Orphan literally had round 3 in the bag. I get Gael's DPS is insane, but Orphan just had to land that last slam attack on Gael who wasn't even moving... and he missed. Cost him the round.
It's probably something tied to the fact it's hitting an npc
If hit player, DAMAGE
If hit NPC lol 1 damage
Its because Gael's in game lightning resistance is nuts. Lighting does very little damage to him
@@imfartinstones6432 That wasn't the question
