    I ordered a get lean set from crossrope awhile back, awesome rope and super smooth. When I first got it one of the bearing went bad in one of the handles, so I emailed them and the sent me 2 more free of charge. Good customer service and good smooth ropes.

    For those who have trouble in doing this, put ALL YOUR FOCUS on your wrists- that is, on rotating them. I still have problems doing this, but if you focus on your wrists, it become a LOT easier.

    Been doing the thing for about 3 months now. Went from barely being able to do a 10-minute set 2x a week to 2x30 to 45 minute sessions now. Just did one today. Also got my first double under with the 4oz. rope last Saturday. Also went from only being able to do regular bounce to being able to do boxer skips, high knee runners, straddles and even shuffles in 4 directions. Thank you Brandon and Dan for inspiring this insane love of jump rope. Hope you guys will be in Brooklyn soon once this COVID thing clears up. I look forward to jumping with you. #DoTheThing

You just jump a little higher than regular bounce and spin the rope a Little bit fast.. it's simple!but when I try I just can't do it.. it's like I'm spinning the rope too fast(I think) and can't control the speed.. I don't know.. it's super frustrating! I even mastered Criss cross pretty easily(thanks to you guys😉) but I can't do this trick.. hope this tutorial helps..... Thanks for the super slo-mos! I did 10 in a row today, but I did land in a different spot towards the end. It was so explosive and intense that I think my body needs to adapt to the intensity before I can focus on my form. I think the reason I lost form was just because my body needs to get to a stage where it doesn’t feel under so much pressure.

  • @lvd2001
    @lvd2001 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Spinning the rope very fast may not do the trick..... I found doing that PLUS starting to jump when the loop gets above the knees high (start to jump earlier much earlier than single jump) then I have more time to clear double under every time

      Legendary Life, try focusing on what I call jump follow through. You are trying to keep your toes on the ground for as long as possible as you jump. This will help you jump straight up and keep your mind focused on pushing all the way through the jump leaving your toes hanging towards the ground. You're gonna conquer this!

    • @LegendaryLife
      @LegendaryLife 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Jump15official thanks dude, but can you explain again, I kinda didn't get it

    • @Jump15official
      @Jump15official 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Legendary Life no worries. so you are doing what we call a pike jump. In order for your feet to start traveling forward when you leave the ground you have to cut the power of your jump short since you are using some of it to push your feet/legs forward. I want you to focus on exploding straight up and as you get air time leave your toes pointing to the floor. You need to re-train your brain to not kick your feet forward. Try without a rope. Pretend you have a basketball hoop above you and you are going to jump up to touch the rim.
      Does that make more sense?

    Ive been jumping rope for years now but still couldn't do double unders. Maybe because my regular jump rope is reverse? Like i couldn't do it in forward. So naybe this is the case? Wht do you think about this?

    Does the wrist technique work on lighter licorice jump ropes that don’t get as much momentum as crossropes?

      here's a guideline. obviously if you want to go faster, you'll need a shorter rope. If you want to do more tricks, a lil length gives you room.

    Just what I needed, I'm currently working on getting this done. Does it make sense to use the 1/2lbs rope to learn? Or should I start with the 1/4? Greetings from Medellín, I hope you guys come visit anytime

      @JumpRopeDudes  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Adrian Moya - 1) we will visit!
      2) if you are brand new to jump rope the 1/2 pound rope is an awesome place to start. the weight really helps you feel what you are doing so you can get your bounce down!

    With practice comes lashing yourself and that hurts, so for how much time would you recommend practicing everyday ? I know the answer would be depending on the person, yet if you have what would you recommend?

      Regina Ranga - have fun. When it's not fun, stop. If you are getting whipped and it HURTS, slow down. Learn your steps at a lower rate and then up the speed as you get better.
