The winner was the one who didn’t give much facial expressions about the others. She just gave numberd and constructive criticisms. I really like this lady, her attitude and her judgement.

Yeah I think the main reason the nicer ones win is because they're not too high and mighty about their food being better and are generally open about trying the food but also give constructive criticism at the same time - though some did give leeway points and were too nice about the scoring.

Out of all the people that have done this series, these Salvadoran woman seemed to be the most honest and had the best constructive criticism to give one another.
The Carne Asada episode with the Dads was good like that too. But I think it's because everyone seemed to make an honest effort and they understand different strokes for different folks.

This is the first time I’ve ever heard Salvadoran Spanish and I like how it sounds. I’m studying Spanish and it seems clearer and easier to understand than others I’ve heard lol

It depends what part of El Salvador a person is from. People from the capital of El Salvador have a more clear understandable Spanish than people from the country.

I was born in EL Salvador but adopted at 6 months. I grew up in a typical white meat and potatoes household. I've always wanted to try food from my biological culture but have been afraid because I don't like spicy food. But these looked really cool. I want to find somewhere to try them now.
The only thing that gets to me is when people describe Salvadoran chicharrón as fried pork rinds. It's not the same, its pork meat chunks.
