    Awesome dude, can't wait to start modding mine!

    I know at high speeds these tires can get taller. Check your motor after your first couple runs to make sure it's not rubbing.

      @PatrickKasilag 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      First thing I did was check for tire expansion at full rpm! But so far not a single sign of it. I’m concerned that I may have this issue when I get closer to 40mph

    I really appreciate these videos, half for the entertainment, half for the info. I'm upgrading to a 14t sprocket so this is extremely useful

    Juat letting you know buddy the greenway deal is live right now. Just grabbed another 48v battery for cheap. I'll be doing a 96v conversion down the road but till then it's just ironing out the details in looks and suspension. But grabbed the batt for 100 shipped

      Congrats! Man I wish my bike would go 40 to be honest. I'm ready for the next set of upgrades! The stock brakes are sketchy as hell now though so I may take care of that first..

      @@PatOutdoors it’s just money lol. The lithium battery should make a difference. I just installed a 48v lithium on stock tires and got it to 34.4mph. They are fun!!

    I feel like my #35 chain is so loud. I’m running no chain tensioner bc Venom 48v makes crap. Electro&co upgrade now she’s rolling! 😮

      @PatOutdoors  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SINcityBigLOU what is Venom 48v? My SX500 runs a 72v electro kit with #35 and no tensioner. I have a swing arm extension kit on that bike though, so I can still technically fine tune the chain tension. Pretty happy with it so far

    I watched all the videos from when u first got this mx650. U should have just went with the Electric & company for their plug and plug. $600 for 5K motor with heat sink no battery, but if u want to buy together with their battery, depending on size 48v 13a $904, 48v 20a $1104 and 72v 20a $1434. Price as of today.

      Thank you for the input! I actually just wanted to explore all the options out there from the most basic and most affordable to higher end options. I totally agree with you if I was just looking for the absolute fastest right off the bat. I'm not done exploring options and tinkering though.

    I was wondering if you could actually show the wiring from the controller to the battery in the next video because I built my bike and it won’t take a charge for some reason so I have to charge the batteries individually now

    • @PatOutdoors
      @PatOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are only two wires between the controller and the battery.. The positive and the negative. The controller also has two wires going to the charge port (one plug), make sure this is fully connected. I'm assuming you have the Fast Scooters charger and controller right?

    • @lbisd
      @lbisd 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I do but it also was not working so I’m charging the batteries independently for now

    I’m going to add the same chain you used and replace the stock one because it broke already about 1/2 hour after my 9 year old was riding it. I’m hoping it was just a defective chain and not something else. How does the chain breaker you bought work? Is it good? Also, how much play should we have in the chain after install on the stock sprockets? The chain actually broke at the master link. I’m hoping the new chain is better. Thx for all your help.

    Hello, greetings from Mexico. I would like to know what is the maximum speed reached by a 2000w motor with a 48v battery.

    • @PatOutdoors
      @PatOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say average range is about 33-37 MPH, depending on which products you go with and what tire size, sprocket combo etc

    • @PatOutdoors

      Well I can't fit a heat sink with these tires so I'd likely drill larger holes on the end-caps of the motor

      @PatOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure thing! Here's exactly wheat I used:
      . MMG 3.0x16" (for the front) w/Inner Tube Combo: amzn.to/3cHk6ON
      . MMG 3.5x10" (for the rear, Needs Clearance Modifications): amzn.to/3PzjLMz
      . 3.5x10" Inner Tube: amzn.to/3yZcZsi
      Keep in mind, if you don't want to do heavy modifications like I did, DO NOT put 3.5x10" tires on the rear. Just do 3.0x10" like this: . Kenda 3.0x10" Street Tire: amzn.to/3J2c2nC
