Nice easy pattern & pretty quilt top. I made this years ago with black 6" squares, instead of the colored squares. The white corners were replaced by 4" colored fabrics. Because the block was larger, I sewed an extra seam 1/4" from the corner seams closer to the corner. An extra 1/2 square triangle was made that I used in the borders.
I think this is the best pattern you have made up till now, I would have sewn them in blocks of 4 not to get confused, but then that is me. Great video ❤
Awwwhhhh I just live your videos!!! You show such giddiness about your ideas👏👏👏. It truly shows you live your work and d sad hating it with us. I’m very thankful for you! 🥰❤️😀
I have been watching your videos for about a mth now. I subscribed today! Love your style and easy voice. Enjoyable to watch and learn. I love your scrappy blocks or mini quilts!!
I love this, it's a nice design. I could see this as a baby quilt for our charity quilting group or a lovely lap blanket draped over the back of my lounge chair. Dare I say it...... my daughter's dog would love a little blanket to sit on while we are out on the back veranda.....nothing but the best for her. hehe.
I like how tiny your projects are. I want to start sewing soon, just for fun, and this looks like such a fun, approachable way to make art with fabric.
Hi! That's the whole point, to take the pressure away from sewing, you can do it for fun and quickly, it doesn't need to be a whole epic project that takes you a very long time!
I'm not! At all! Sometimes it takes me days and days to get something done because I need to stop because I'm so impatient. this one was actually quick enough, I do the steps in bulk, that really helps!
Somewhere was a comment when chain piecing use a leader or Ender to mark between rows. I think with the amount of redos this is a great option for me. I am still working on my cross lap quilt. Had to take a breather. So frustrated with the rows however my pictures saved me when I messed things up so badly I was able to redo 6 rows and it is going to work. Great video
That's a great tip! As long as I remember to make them in different fabrics hehehe. Some quilts take time and patience. I try to enjoy the journey as much as possible so I don't give up. But I do have some WIPs stashed away somewhere.
I love your scrappy quilts! Question - those little triangles you cut off when you snowball the corners, are they thrown away or do you have a plan for those little pieces?
I’m a sucker for bonus HST. I’d have sewn 3/8” from seam and cut the tiny bonus HST with 1/8” seam allowance. Tiny pieces with 1/8” seam allowance are perfect for wall hangings
@@seweasybysandy the biggest difference between the Cameo and the Accuquilt is that you can cut 6 layers at a time with the Accuquilt. I've never used my Silhouette for quilting. I might have to try that. I do love my AccuQuilt, though.
@@proud2bktsmama since I got the rotary blade I've used itnto cut fabric without having to use any other materials and I love it. But 6 layers at a time is very promising! 😁
Let's have some Fireworks for this new month! How easy is it too?
Scrappy neutrals for the corners would be cute too!
I think you are a care bear because of your rainbow obsession! 😅cute quilt
ahhah I may be!!
X's & O's block pattern
Excellent color placement 🎉
Thank you 😊

Black will look stunning for this!
Love it, love it! So bright and cheerful!
BEAUTIFUL!!! 😍
Look out scraps, here I come! 🤗
Awesome 😁
I like those little simple blocks in a row for a border, also. Thanks!
One of my favorite block styles!
I think it maybe called snowballing the corners. I love the rainbow!!
Love that!
Yes it’s a classic X’s and O’s pattern.

Thank you! 😊 Yes, that helps
Such a great teacher for this project. It looks so complicated but you make it seem doable. Thanks for sharing your content
Thank you 😊

Hi. I get it, my pets are the recipients of all the blankets and quilts I make for myself😀

You have so much patience! 👍 I don't think i could do something like that because i want my results immediately 🙈

I have your final layout called Xs and Os. I love it in rainbow 🌈. Of course most things are better in rainbow.
I thought the x and o's were separate but that makes sense yes. Thank you 😊
This looks like a hugs and kisses quilt pattern
Great pattern I might make a sewing mat for under my sewing machine thankyou🎉
sounds lovely!
Omg this is so cute! Going on my must make list!
Thank you 🥰
I absolutely love that thank you❤❤❤❤❤
thank you 😀
Xs and Os, but thank you for taking it out of that box for us! Loved the Spider, lol!
Hehehe I'm really not very good at this naming quilts stuff 😂😂😂
Love it!😊
This is where an Accuquilt is just soooo handy. I couldn’t quilt without mine.
All of you are making me very curious 🤔

@@seweasybysandy I use plain pieces if material for separation.
Beautiful!
Love it looks great
Agree with all the Accuquilters here… I plan my quilts based on whether I have the dies to cut fabric… if I don’t, I probably won’t make it!
Hahaha it's that good hum?
Adorable ❤
Thank you 😊
thank you for your videos
I love your scrappy quilts! Question - those little triangles you cut off when you snowball the corners, are they thrown away or do you have a plan for those little pieces?
Hi. I keep all my scraps! At the very least, I can use it to make some fabric of my own 😀
Looks like Xes and Ohs to me, so I might call it the Hugs -n- Kisses quilt! So very very cute!
Thank you 😊

I think it’s called X’s and O’s.
I wonder if we quilters all have one thing we do not like...mine is cutting, but my friend hates ironing
Yeah, cutting for sure, I've even got cameraman Mike cut fabric for me 😊
❤❤😮😮😮❤❤❤
Do u do yr own long arm?
I don't. Everything I quilt is in this machine.
Jenny Doan calls that an X’s and O’s quilt.
Exes and Ohs
“X’s”
Hit the lottery and buy an Accuquilt! 😊
I have a silhouette cameo that I love 😁

Instead of hiring a cutter I highly suggest Accuquilt 😉
I have to try it, it isn't available where I live though.
As soon as you said rainbow that’s it I’m out!
Used to love seeing rainbows not anymore
Reclaim the rainbow, it was God’s first! But I understand what you are saying
@@zivalux8678 don’t know why they had to claim that ruin it for the rest of us. Generally speaking of course
Beautiful!
