Silverado/Sierra Cowl or Air Inlet Grille Panel full and comprehensive installation and review.

Part# 23207952 Air Inlet Grille Panel, aka, Cowl or Bottom Windshield wiper vent cowl cover/trim for 2014-15 Silverado/Sierra 1500 crew cab. This is an OEM GM part and have many names and prices. I got mine from FLOW AUTOMOTIVE CENTER made in the USA for $138. But the shipping is literary more expensive that the actual part. In total I paid $388. But it fits like a glove.

When removing the cowl you needed to disconnect the fluid line quick connector fittings. Did it require anything special, other than, just pulling the male and female parts apart? It looks like the quick connector end that is part of the cowl assembly is oval shaped. Did you have to twist them apart, or, just pull them straight apart? Thanks.

One side of the hose is Kinda oval shape, all you do is press with your fingers to make it round and pull the hose. no special tool needed.

All you had to do was replace the flexible lining on the edge. Home depot or lowes sells them in rolls of 10-20 feet.

How did you remove the wiper arms ?I know there a bolt to remove but still hard to remove?

Yes, just remove the plastic cover and keep a hand on it because it will fly away then remove the nut. I had to pry really hard, just make sure you don't use the windshield for leverage it will crack on you.

Wiper arms remove themselves apparently. Thanks for wasting my time, really need youre help with seized clips...
