2015 GMC Sierra Aftermarket Aluminum alloy Wheels DIY restoration Awesome results Polished no clear.
Clear Coat was peeling and corroded, So I decided to strip the clear off and polish the aluminum. I bought the truck at a good price but with many imperfections. One of those were the 20in aftermarket wheels. The clear looked so bad I even contemplated replacing them. Good thing I like a challenge. I experimented with the two pass side wheels and the polished aluminum still shines after a year. So I carried on with the drvr side. They came out amazing. Lots of elbow grease but that's what power tools are for. Check out the Sand paper I found on Amazon!!! Enjoy!

Last oil change I tried to removed the oil filter with a regular filter wrench and other things and succeeded in braking the housing and render it un-usable. Your trunk bed liner looks amazing, where’d you get it from? Also how are you liking your 5100s so far? The Ranchos on my truck are absolute garbage, people keep saying that theirs are so soft and bouncy and that they almost ride like a Cadillac. I wish mine rode like a caddy, it rides the exact opposite. They feel like im driving a cinderblock on wheels. Theyre so rough that whenever i go over the smallest road imperfection, my entire truck shakes and rattles violently. I know the 5100s are firm, but are they harsh or unbearable? Would you recommend them?
They ride a lot better than the ranchos, you should try them. My bed liner was a factory option.

All you had to do was replace the flexible lining on the edge. Home depot or lowes sells them in rolls of 10-20 feet.

You didn't change the o-ring on the oil filter cap! I hope you're changing that oil every 10,000 miles and not every 20,000. It looked like sludge inside the oil filter cap.
Did not replaced the oring this time I kinda forgot, luckily I change the oil regularly less than 10k miles. Old oring looked good though.
How did you remove the wiper arms ?I know there a bolt to remove but still hard to remove?
Yes, just remove the plastic cover and keep a hand on it because it will fly away then remove the nut. I had to pry really hard, just make sure you don't use the windshield for leverage it will crack on you.
When removing the cowl you needed to disconnect the fluid line quick connector fittings. Did it require anything special, other than, just pulling the male and female parts apart? It looks like the quick connector end that is part of the cowl assembly is oval shaped. Did you have to twist them apart, or, just pull them straight apart? Thanks.
One side of the hose is Kinda oval shape, all you do is press with your fingers to make it round and pull the hose. no special tool needed.

Con el filtro arriba es un tiro. Este filter housing tiene unos clips que sin esa herramienta es casi impossible sacarlo.

Saludos cuz, eso pense yo pero llame al manufacturer y me dice que no importa donde este el boot, que el nombre tenia que estar upright. Ademas ese es un monotube que no mezcla gas con aceite.

Bro I've had my Craftsman C3 for ages, that thing has never failed me. I did have to get some replacement batteries though. Those Bilstein look really nice, I might upgrade mine as well. In the meanwhile I'll be installing a Roadactive Suspension kit so I can do some RV towing. 🤙
Mine is crap. I got a Milwaukee but wanted to give the Craftman a chance.
