I went to college with his nephew. When he first came to campus to play golf, he randomly asked if I knew his nephew and where his room was. He had shades on, but his voice was clearly distinguished and an indicator. When we arrived to his nephew's room, and he said thanks a bunch sweetie. I said Mr. Jack Nicholson is that you? He lowered his shades and said "Maybe!" Lol decent person in that instance.

Jack Nicholson was good friends with my Uncle *Rupert Crosse* , actor and first Black thespian to be nominated for Best Supporting Actor in "The Reivers" (starring Steve McQueen) in 1969. Jack had it set up for Rupert to costar with him in "The Last Detail" but he was sick and later found out it was cancer and unfortunately died soon after.
When Jack Nicholson won Best Actor for "As Good As It Gets" in 1996, in his acceptence speech he shouted out my Uncle Rupert as one of the friends he dedicates the award to. We were all pleasantly surprised in my family and honored that he never forgot him.
Jack is full of talent and scandal yes, this post from Ashley was entertaining & educational. But Jack is also a generous, kind soul who does not forget those who he bonded with and inspired him.
Thank you Mr. Nicholson for remembering my great Uncle Rupert Crosse. I hope to thank you in person one day.

Speaking of his on-again/off-again relationship with Angelica, I read her autobiography "Watch Me" and there's enough for a part 2 and part 3 of this vid. Angelica briefly dated Ryan O'Neal in the 1970s and he once physically assaulted her. Jack found out and was preparing to kill him until Angelica talked him out of it.
Angelica also once beat up Jack shortly after their final breakup because of his messy behavior referenced in a Playboy interview getting publicly brought during one of her by own interviews. She literally drove to his office, walked past his secretary, and beat his ass for nearly 15 minutes (btw, Jack has publicly validated this happened). People forget that Angelica is the daughter of the late John Huston (who used to be a boxer before becoming a famed director and taught his daughter how to fight) and definitely knows how to throw hands when necessary.

Yes that's true he did find out that his mother who he thought was his sister and the grandmother was who he thought was his mother all that was a lie. He almost lost his mind behind all of that. His dad had contacted him by phone saying that he might be his father so that's how all this started.
