I like how this young man has old school old fashioned thinking. Why else would he be interested in things like this?! If only I were well, and able-bodied, I would want to go with him, searching out old abandoned houses.
The property was owned by Mr Charles Harding he died in 2020. He lived in Carrollton Ohio till 2008 he would spend time on the old family property he was a US navy veteran. The pole barn is packed with the same stuff as the house. The land is owned by a lady that lives in Akron area. I’m glad to see that place again I haven’t been there since Charles was alive. Nice video
thanks for sharing, im ALWAYS dying to learn about the history behind these beautiful places. this video will serve as a memory of mr charles harding and proof that this house existed. in some point of time the weight of those boxes, newspapers and things stored in that house will make the floors collapse upstairs. The kids bedroom and the other bedroom above the room with the piano will collapse very soon (if you noticed how both ceilings were sagging). the whole point of my channel is to record these structures and memories before they are lost forever without any trace.
The vehicles were family owned. The bug was his sisters. The truck by the pole barn was his. Charles had a wood burner and he would roll up sticks and newspaper for starters. A lot of the stuff from the house was put into the big barn. His great great grandfather built that place and stayed in the family I believe the lady that owns it is his daughter but it could be his younger sister I’m not sure if she is still alive. I’m going to have to plan a trip and take a look around the place one last time.
@ thanks for sharing, I’ll make sure to keep everything that you said on record since im mostly doing documentaries on every house that im recording/photographing 👍
At 16:52, the young man was trying to see if the old junk heap Volkswagon was gonna start. Please, just hang it up, you'd be lucky to find some way to haul it to the junkyard.
When he goes inside, and finds all the mess, (its depressing), if I were in control, I would have a cleanup crew come and empty out the old house, and make repairs, and then try to turn the house into a make-shift shelter, for street people. Hire cooks to serve meals, and make the bathrooms available for their showers. Have a few twin beds per room, as many as each room could hold. Some bunk beds even, if there's children.
What an old hoard that was! Surprised you didn't fall through anywhere into the basement. Hard to believe anyone could even live in the add-on until the 1990's. Most objects looked abandoned in the early 1970's, including the cars. The barns and sheds appear newer, so it would be neat to see those.
Enjoyed your video and especially the persons name and history of the place. Speaking as a grandfather I worry for you exploring alone. You could fall into an old septic tank, roof or ceiling could cave in on you etc. Please be careful. Appreciate you.
Looking at all the boxes labeled for fruit and other vegetables, leades me to think the family ran a vegetable/produce stand/market somewhere in the area.
The only thing about old houses bringing up to code the electrical system is a tedious and very expensive task if you hire an electrician but you can go to the hardware store Lowe's or home Depot and get some Romex and other connections including newer light switches and plugs and do-it-yourself FYI😮😊😂🎉
Shocked, House so issolated like that & so packed.. Please take care.. What a Challenge you faced, no clear walking space at all. Was so hoping that back door would open, for have to go back thru that mess, Uck..
Did you know abandoned houses and properties can be seized by individuals willing to do improvement to the property and to the home at no charge and also you can get the title with no charge no I can't say that it's going to be a fee to get the paperwork but still you can reclaim and take over any property that has been abandoned 😮😊
Starting off with a brand new John Deere riding lawn mower, a chainsaw brand new, plenty of firewood and you can transform this property into a Showplace with very little work but a desire to save the past😮😊
I can tell by the subscriber numbers that you are relatively new to the world of abandoned exploration. With that being said, giving out the exact locations of the places you explore to your "friends "? I hope you do realize it won't be only your friends who will go to these beautiful old abandoned houses or anyplace for that matter. The vandals will go and completely destroy what has been hopefully untouched for years. It's not good to give out locations. All those cars windows will be busted or shot out. Those cars are definitely vintage and beautiful to see with everything intact. So, just a little positive criticism probably a good decision not to give out your locations. Not everyone online IS your friend, and the majority of youngsters nowadays are very destructive and filled with rage. This is why other seasoned explorers donot give out their locations. Destructive behavior and rage, those two together, equals trouble. With that bit of positive advice , I would like to say thank you for taking the time to visit and video the places you go to. This particular house looks as if hoarders may have existed in that place. The toilet and tub I believe, were placed there as a means of storing them. I don't think the bathroom was initially put inside the living quarters. As may have been all that other stuff put in there to store it. Careful for snakes living amongst all that trash. Anyway, be safe and keep locations to yourself for many reasons. P€ac€ ~n~ £0¥€ ✌️
uhh i understand by what you mean but im not new to the exploration thing- ive been urban exploring for 4 1/2 years now and ive been to around 300 abandoned houses or more- what I have posted on youtube is about a small fraction compared to what ive explored so far- im mostly just a photographer, i share these spots with other photographers who are my friends in real life and who I know personally. I already know the consequences of posting locations, thus is the reason why I didn’t specifically give out a nearest town for this one (because it’s pretty easy to find on google maps). but yes, thanks for your feedback 👍
Dude coulda been exploring for a decade and u wouldn't know it. Just cus he doesn't have tons of vids n subs? Whatever bro. And for facts neither the tub nor toilet were tossed there, there was clearly bracing for a wall that was no longer there, it was a separate room, a bathroom.
they were probably neatly stacked at one point then over time within the 35 year span of it being abandoned, people and critters went through there and tossed stuff around. it probably explains why theres alot of empty boxes.
I have to laugh, you said you live in Pennsylvania and you hate it, well guess what so do I live in Pennsylvania also and I hate it to, it's a crummy state to live in !! nice explore. The first car that you looked at the Chevy in the woods was a 1962.
im gonna eventually move to ohio in 3-4 years. I noticed a lot of differences between ohio and pa, gas prices, wages, vehicle inspection, road safety, etc. i always gotta drive 1-3 hours to see these kinds of places so it would be nice to live closer to save money.
@@zcriix Oh! I have a friend in Pittsburgh and there it's not even as bad as where I live, LOL! You should live where I live if you want to see bad!!!! 🙃
😂 not sure what you’re expecting bud it’s a full tour im covering the entire house and its surroundings. just skip through the video if you’re that impatient
seem like someone was using it to dumb stuff in after it was abandoned as if the inherited and that is what they did to it sad. Almost like they ran a general store somewhere and dumbed all the old newspapers and junk there that didn't sell?
Dude hoarding that bad was possessed. By an entity subservient to beelzebub. Once you reached the top of the stairs your light went messed up. I hope you pray to Jesus before entering abandoned places, and definitely that you prayed after leaving that one.
3:06 exterior house tour
9:33 abandoned cars
15:41 volkswagon beetle
19:50 interior house tour
40:49 outro
Put this in the description
The bugs engine is in the rear

And that is called crocket, pronounced the same as rhyming with Day.
We used to play crocket in the South, in the summer time.

At 12:35-36, ofcourse its not going to run!
About the only thing salvageable, would be to part it out.
I spy an inchworm 😊what a beautiful house. I bet in it’s day. It was gorgeous.
Thank you for sharing, I live in ohio.. I really like this place.
For the outside mallet game don’t say Crockett, say Cro Kay
I would have loved to read what the owner wrote on the calendar on the fridge.

I was there before you were 😅😅
Croquet ("cro-kay") set, not "crockett "(as in Davey Crockett!). Interesting enough to not be left out in the weather.
This is getting too depressing.
I'll come back later.

The motor is in the back and a little girl could have busted that lime.
It took him half the video (20 minutes) just to get inside the abandoned house.
