      Andrew V I would have agreed a year or two ago. But PBD has done so much testing and development in areas nobody else has done. I was talking to a Ford Performance engineer at their Ford display and he actually mentioned Palm Beach Dyno by name. We were talking about upper limits of engine designs. Lol.

    The 2020 gt500 is amazing what car out there makes these gains with only bolt ons its crazy this car is making 1200hp at the crank 760hp to 1200 nuts

    The lid looks great I would prefer it to have a matte finish like the original one but other than that it's great

    Ken, did you ever to do testing or do a video with this lid on a more conservative or near stock w/ tune car like you mentioned in this video towards the end? Looked but didn't see another video about that.

    Assuming this lid is 6061-t6, you could potentially save more weight going with 7075-t6 and thinning bthe walls (yield strength 40 ksi vs 73 ksi). Would also give you a smidge more room for air. Trade-off is cost of course. Love the design.

    Good upper RPM gains but I am betting the lower RPM performance is below hat of the stock blower. that's why you didn't show it.

      You would be wrong. this is a flow mod, you aren't going to gain anything down low so no reason to show it. There is no science that supports your theory. If we were messing with runner length, then yes.

    My 15 hellcat easily made 950whp and 920 torque on the hub Dyno with jokers ported blower 2.85 upper and 10% lower and 108 throttle body. That's things bad but Seems like the mustangs don't make a ton of torque for some reason

    I'll be honest, I was extremely doubtful that a redesigned lid would be this beneficial as in the GM world, modified lids aren't that big of an improvement, if any

      Decent price for 30 or so hp. Headers result in roughly that increase and about the same price. This is easier to install for sure.

      Do your homework . I'm not a ford guy. I still do my homework on them and all the ones who want to compete. I'm not a chevy guy so much as I want what gets the job done guy . And right now the c8 is hands down the best bang for your buck and has been since the c5 z06.
