Very interesting to the JLT have such an increase of ~35 rwhp on the GT-500!!!
I am waiting on my Dark Horse. I am interested in seeing you guys test the DH with the coming
JLT x 2 to see if there are any gains. TH-cam guy (REVan Evan) in NC tested their Dark Horse yesterday and by pulling out the carbon filters they picked up 12 rwhp. Your test was not that much if I remember correctly. They then put in K&N filters and picked up an additional 5 rwhp: so stock = 438
    Remove carbon = 450
Add K&N = 455. You gotta like getting an increase of 17 rwhp on the DH for the price of 2 air filters. Add headers and we are close to 500 rwhp NA. Tune and you are definitely over 500 wheel.
I really enjoy watching your videos. Great job‼️👍💪🇺🇸

You can't tune it. When are people going to understand the thing is locked down with over the air updates. They can see if it's running a non approved Ford tune and flag it even return it to stock remotely. You're stuck with bs Ford approved tunes.

@@midnight347 I was invited by invitation only, back in April, to attend a Ford Engineering briefing on the S650. My son owns a Ford Dealership. The engineers went through everything that they looked to improve upon and S550. At the end they explained about the over-air capabilities and why they went to this. They also had a Ford Motors Executive speak to us about their understanding & support to future Mustang owners and how Ford understands the need for each Mustang owner to Mod & enhance their cars. Ford policy is to never change an owner’s enhancement tuning unless the customer requests it to be changed. Ford released the encryption to the ECU/ECM to Whipple, RTR & Ford Performance and just last week to Roush Performance. So give it some time; 8-12 months from now hopefully we should be able to tune the S650. It is always just a matter of time. Ford has zero intention to prevent this. Most of the locked ECM purposes is for security due to the number of Ford 150 vehicles stolen over the past 3 model years. They showed a slide of how the Mexican cartel criminals have stolen several trucks and Explores throughout our country. So I thank Ford for designing another generation of Mustangs as opposed to GM & Chrysler pushing with no thought about the problems of the entire country going EV. Ford doesn’t want this & neither do we as Mustang owners!!!
Be patient, I have driven the new Mustangs and the S650 is better made and better performing than the S550 by a huge margin. Go drive it, it should impress you. I certainly am impressed. You can blame the $10K price increase on biden and his inflation problems that his administration forced on all Americans!!!!
      Cheers 💪👍😎🇺🇸

No tuning at all with the JLT ? Is that not an issue with the 500 ? I've been told that my '19 350R will need a tune if a JLT is installed and that would cause a problem with my warranty if a problem arises , is that the case , thank you.

No tuning needed in the 500s for this. GT350s do need a tune.

Not with the e85 and VMP predator coolers. 135* charge temps

Sounds good, but could you please do few more run in dyno with hood close!!!😅😅
I think you will lose 15 hp with hood close, moreover if you plan to do some upgrades without tune , am intereasting to see the hp gain after installing Rapator R pulley on stock GT500 tune , i think stock tune will mange the extra boost which will be gain from the pulley , excited😊😊😊😊

We’ve done a 2.8 pulley on stock tune with JLT and made 761whp

@@MiddletonMotorsports perfect , and how safe to keep it without tune? Could you please explaine to us how far stock tune can mange one step smaller pulley for supercharge.
      Thanks

What does it do with the hood down?

    • @MiddletonMotorsports

didnt try, we, like all other shops dyno with the hood up. we would still make some good power with the fan setup we have for our dyno.
