Remote entry is GREAT! If you live in South Florida, where it's VERY HOT AND HUMID, you can have a nice COOL car when you get in it! Just remember to turn the A/C on high before you get out of the car, that way, when you start the car by remote access and give it a few minutes, it will be cool when you get in! ITS A GREAT FEATURE! And it IS a safety feature that when you open the car by touching the handle, the car turns off. You wouldn't want someone to be able to drive away while it's running and cooling off the interior.

So bummed that I got a few months before they came out with a newer model (CarPlay, etc.) The Auto Hi-Beam works when to put your headlights hi-beam on and it only works when the car does not detect any oncoming traffic (or lights). I love that feature. The "Hold" feature is also very handy if you are stopped on an incline/decline road. It prevents the car from rolling when you disengage your feet from the brake to the accelerator. Pretty handy from keeping you hitting the car in front or behind. Another feature you can enable is to choose whether to have all doors or just the driver's side unlock when you engage the parking brakesI It's sort of an anti-theft feature which prevents crooks from stealing any bags, etc. in the front passenger seat when you're in a gas station. love the Camry. Also ive downloaded the Toyota Connect app but apart from only showing details about my car like VIN, build date, model etc its got no other features on there that i can use. I think Australia got jipped on features when it came to Camry's 😢

@@TheOGbuilds Our Australian range has a slightly different naming scheme to you guys in the US, for example our version of the SE is called the Ascent, your XSE becomes the SX (Sporty model), and your XLE is our SL (luxury fully equipped model). The “remote start” is very finicky to get right! & the the window function has to be enabled via dealer or carista app th-cam.com/video/XIyq1VdLVVA/w-d-xo.html
This really shouldn’t be included in the video if the window down feature is unlocked via Carista. Carista can unlock all sorts of features but now everyone has it or will buy. Everything that you listed was on my 2018 Camry XSE, with exception of the remote start. That is an aftermarket feature NOT a Toyota Feature. @@kalnakamura4600 dislike the safety feature on my camry as well. annoying to warm up car, hop in, have to restart....also i dont seem to be able to lock the car while its running, even when im outside of it. so i have to remote start it....with phone or fob. odd.
@@jergernice1 I keep the physical key from my spare fob on my key loop so I can lock while running. Also, you can use the key to open and close windows if you turn it, release and turn and hold. Clockwise to open, counter clockwise to close. Same as Honda and VW
the maxima doesnt turn off, when you shift to drive without the fob, then the engine shuts off. otherwise with the fob, you just get in and go!
I’m gonna run you that thumbs up because you played with your dog lol
Hes a great little guy! 😂
Thank for the tips. How do you program the keyfob to open the windows?
That’s not an option that Toyota offers.
I didn't know it comes with a hidden hot sauce holder too. Score!
Is this only on the V6? Not on the v4 for the remote start
I have a 4cylinder camry
@@TheOGbuilds did the remote start work for you? I tried it on mine but didn’t work
I believe i showed it in the video? But yes my Camry has remote start, i just never use it
So basically you made a video about features that you had no clue were there but really aren't hidden they're just features you were not aware of.
My 2018 Camry SX in Australia doesn't have a remote start feature, ive tried and tried but nope nothing. I think it might be a North American feature. Also ive downloaded the Toyota Connect app but apart from only showing details about my car like VIN, build date, model etc its got no other features on there that i can use. I think Australia got jipped on features when it came to Camry's 😢
I think you may have the SE version of the camry in the states, i have the xse version so it has “more features” but not really 😂 i never liked the remote start on my camry to be honest
@@TheOGbuilds Our Australian range has a slightly different naming scheme to you guys in the US, for example our version of the SE is called the Ascent, your XSE becomes the SX (Sporty model), and your XLE is our SL (luxury fully equipped model).
Also our infotainment apps were way different to the stuff you guys got, im kinda jealous tbh. Also we never got a TRD version. We do have another large Toyota that was only built for the Australian market called the Aurion, that had a TRD model that came with a Supercharger from factory, those cars were pretty cool but they're pretty old now
@@TheOGbuilds I was also doing some research last night, it seems Toyota Australia has made remote start from even the keyfob a paid subscription as of a few years ago and it had me wondering perhaps when the previous owner took the car in for a service Toyota may have disabled the functionality
What percent tint do you have in the front windows?
I got llumar 15% all around bro
I had the front windshield tinted too but it cracked 😩
we have the exact same car ❤ seems you love yours like i love mine
Bro big favour, how dark did you go on your tints. Nice video. God bless you y muchas bendiciones.
Llumar tint 15% all around and i did llumar air 80 on the windshield i wouldve gone 5% next time 😈
How did you change your rings to red from white in the instrument clutter?
I havent changed anything its all standard with the xse
I thought my TRD 24 doesn't have a remote start, just discovered! 😅♥️
7:37 that adorable creature that popped up.
What is the color of the car? Beautiful!!
Its called windchill pearl 🤘🏼 thank you it really does stand out
can you do one on the camry trd 2022
The car key feature didn't work
I have 2018 xse
The last two features are part of a subscription service. All others are in the manual. 😜
Aint got time for the manual 🤷🏽♂️
Plus what about the peeps that bought used? Lol
I dont have a subscription service on my car and it still works too 😬
What is the measurement of glass spaces for Toyota Camry 2020 xse?
Where that video for window going down
If i roll the windows down with the key fob, do i get a dog like yours?
Love that you have hot sauce in the cup holder.
Gotta be ready at all times 😂
Recorded horizontally:)
So I tried the “Car Start” function on my 2018 XSE and it didn’t work, the one where you open all the windows, didn’t work either. All of the other features, except the coin holder, I knew about.
Nor will they go to the dealer to ask for this. The video should specify hidden features that you discovered that automatically come with the without any other programming from a third party.
@@JaredR i mean you can go to the dealer to make them program the windows. Alot of people have had luck with that 🤷🏽♂️ no need to use “third party apps” just the way i did it.
My dealer did the window thing for me at no extra charge.
My SE 2019 not starting with key remote
What % tint do you have?
15% all around and 80% in the front
In Cali you can just auto start your car with the AC on full blast
Morning can anyone help me out? I am trying to use my Android Auto when I use the Samsung cord it doesn't register it. It charges than when I use the Apple car play it works. I just purchased a 2021 Toyota Camry xse, I just want to mirror my Android to the car.
I like the feature where hold unlock button and a dog appears.
😂
Wooooowww I’ve literally had my Camry for 2 years and didn’t know it had remote start 😂😂😂💀💀💀
I never use it 😂 i prefer to roll down my windows with the remote
What’s the plus and minus on the behind the steering wheel for ?
Volume controls for the radio
@@TheOGbuilds lmaoo
Awzcar, I think Tina Marie was asking about the paddle shifters for manually running up and down the gear shift sequence.
+=shift up
-=shift down
What lights were those when you open the driver's door and it says "Toyota" with the logo? Great video too! Cheers!
They are just 20 dollar projector leds from ebay i’ll try to pull out the link for you
Thanks that help me allot
Everything that you listed was on my 2018 Camry XSE, with exception of the remote start. That is an aftermarket feature NOT a Toyota Feature. The functionality that you expressed with the key fob is a specially designed remote start adapter that adds a T-Harness to the system to allow you use the OEM key fob for remote starting. If I am wrong then so are 3 other dealerships that I've checked with each year when looking at trading in my Camry for a newer model. Its been a heavily sought after feature for many vehicles, especially those of us that live in the frozen tundra.
Idk it worked for me fir like a year then one day it stopped working i have a xse 2018
@XxKINGWEEVLExX not saying I know or don't know... but my 2014.5 and 2018 were both factory ordered and remote start was not a factory feature...
@vladtepes394 yes I didn't know until I watched a video and tried it myself it worked then I took to annual oil change one time and it didn't I asked them they said .might had to do with my Toyota connect app
Is valet mode in the se
Remote start: The car stops running when you open the door to prevent someone from stealing it.
You don’t have to hold the button for the remote start. Just hit it 3 times.
Lies
Thanks! Cute 🐕
My Camry 2015 got auto start and stays on the even when u open the door all u gotta do is put the key in but if u touch the gas or brake or steering wheel it shuts off by itself
they fixed the remote start issue on the 2025 models
I went to go see lexus this year and i noticed their cars dont turn off I believe they started that in 2022
