    another thing that can help, is keeeping the sides of your hair shorter than the top. One of the reasons why men look bald is because their sides tend to grow out faster than the top of their head. So, ask your barber not to touch the top of your head and to ruduce bulk on the crown area but do not touch the frontal section

    This is all u need...im a barber been using this on me on clients for years...get a dark amber spray bottle...put in pumpkin seed oil...olive oil...sawpalmetto oil....mix with rosemary eccential oil and peppermint eccential oil ...apply everynigt either all night or for an hour ..then rince...youll figure out the concotencey thru the heaviness of the oil ..adjust...u can always add water but remember water and oil dont mix so shake every use....buy organic shampoos and conditioners..and a few drops into your shampoo or conditioner or both...i only use minoxidil once a day 2 times not nessesary its a sellimg ploy...when relaxing in front of tv just give scalp a gentle massage...rince hair in cold water...nizoral shampo once to 2 times a week...if u mix the first mencioned mixture properley its great for a leave in condituonet to tame frizz...also once every 10 dayz..esp if u use product buy a good clarifying shamp00 leave in 10 mins rince u get a clean slate from product build up....and if u choose finesteride a 5 mg pill cut into 4...then take every second day ..again every day is a marketing ploy...also unless overley oily dont overwash your hair...and if oveey oily take breaks with a dry shampp sops up the oil without wear and tear of washing..hope this helps..happy growing!!!oh edit here of i wasnt clear i meant put a few drops of rosemary essential oil and peppermint oil in your shampoo and or conditioner🙂

    Been using Finasteride for 10+ years. I guess it worked because I still have a decent hair line at 47, and most of the men in my immediate family are totally bald, including my father. However, I took notice just over 2 years ago I was starting to recede and thin out again, so I finally added Minoxidil to the regimen. It's now been over 2 years with zero results - continues to recede and thin, albeit slowly. It's as if Minoxidil has done absolutely nothing. Seeing so many guys with solid results with micro-needling, I guess this is going to be my next step. Crossing my fingers I get results as good as yours. Quite impressive IMO.

    I tried Hims and Keeps both over the last 1.5 years and while things improved, I found out excessive DHT wasn't the issue at all. Stress, shitty diet, and wearing a hat everyday until being 30 was a recipe to destroy my hair. I just started taking care of it and not wearing a hat, found psychedelics, and boom it's back to how it was in high school. I don't use minoxidil or finasteride anymore. It's been months without either and no hair has fallen out. I keep my hair and scalp very moisturized which has helped tremendously. Also just adding a biotin and collagen supplement to my daily routine has made my hair grow crazy fast and strong on top of improving my skin. Not saying this is everyone's situation, but it's certainly worth looking at other areas of your life if you are experiencing hair loss. Getting fat causes it too. As my weight got back down to a healthy lean situation, my hair also has been much better. Take care of yourself mentally and physically and see if that helps before spending a bunch of money on chemicals. You might be surprised with the results.

      @@roberttaylor821 you completely missed the point. of course wearing a hat doesn't straight up just cause baldness but it creates a less than optimal environment for healthy hair to grow smashing it down all day and cutting off circulation etc. the results are what they are. i wasn't entirely bald or anything but quitting a hat full time and letting shit breathe made a huge difference.

      @@bostonbobby7159 so just my experience but over the past few months I started using lsd and mushrooms about twice a week and tripping quite hard like 4+ tabs or grams and really getting deep into my own head and to say the least, figured a lot of stuff out. my overall outlook on life has completely changed, basically everything has improved including my financial situation, my health, and my quality of life as a whole has significantly improved. i legit didn't even realize how much all the daily pressures in life start to take a toll until i basically shed the weight off my shoulders and found this positive, constructive mindset which as a result has improved my hair a bunch too. I have had super bad anxiety and depression most of my life, it's not all fixed but i've just never had anything so good come into my life and it's been a chance to completely start over with a fresh slate. the likelihood is that lsd and mushrooms are illegal where you're at so i am not openly condoning you to go acquire anything you can get in trouble for but i'm just saying, if the stigma around psychedelics ever got in your way before, you have nothing to worry about. don't go in with a crazy dose by any means but steadily just do what you're comfortable with and see your life incrementally piece itself back together, including hopefully your hairline too lol

    I have a slightly different protocol, but, I'm also 59 and have a full head of hair and my three younger brothers are all bald. First, if you're in your 20's, act quickly. 1. Minoxidil (oral). You'll need a Dr. prescription but if greasy hair bothers you, consider this approach. Amount: 2.5mg-5mg. If you can't get a prescription, then use the topical minoxidil. I haven't had any side effects and I've been on it for a long time. See what works for you over time. Start slow and then you can adjust. 2. Derma rolling. I do this once a week every Saturday morning. My wife knows this and then she, lovingly, cleans it for me with alcohol. 3. LED laser light Revian Red cap. Every day as soon as I get up, I put this bad boy on for 10 mins. Yes, it's pricey but worth it. I've had mine for 2 years and it's working well. 4. Wash your hair no more than 1x or 2x max per week and use an organic shampoo/conditioner. Extra credit: I had a fue hair transplant about a decade ago. About 1200 graphs. I wasn't bald but thinning and I could tell, like Sam, that it was beginning to accelerate. Yes, it was expensive but, to me, it was worth it. Hope that helps.

    Diffuse thinner here all thru the fairway of middle thatch of hair. Still have hairline mostly but can see thru the scalp. Doing topical fin/min/retin a. Not going great, but hopeful. About to add micro needle. Pretty skeptical but your hair is massively recovered and I tried oral fin and dut and made me temporarily impotent. So doing the topical. It pisses me off so bad. Hoping for some miracle. May give this 6 months to a year and then if no results try pyrilutimde from the gray market.

    Taking fin worries me due to the possible sides and that I've heard people say even after stopping using finasteride the side effects continue years later from coming off the fin.
    Also, my hair gets greasy quickly after a day and I wash my hair every 3 days, so I don't really feel comfortable rubbing in minoxidil making my hair hard and sticky which will show my thinning more.

    Hey I have a question, I use the shampoo and conditioner from DS Labs and it recommends use 5x a week, should I instead change to the Nioxin Caffeine shampoo? I’m a high schooler with a pretty oily head most of the time and I’ve noticed that my hair isn’t really dense or thick so I can’t see right through it and see my scalp so I’ve been getting into products for hair re-growth/hair strengthening like Minoxidil, Finasteride, a pill with biotin and other vitamins for hair, and some castor oil for hair. Would these help my situation or should I go for another approach?

    • @samredman
      @samredman  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Biotin, imo doesnt do anything. Ive dug deep into the research and no studies show Biotin works. I would suggest you not wash your hair, only do it once a week. Your hair needs the oils that your scalp produces naturally. Try that out for 2 weeks and see what changes occur. Washing your hair multiple times a week will dry it up, and start giving you dried out hair and flakes.
