    Thank you for dedicating the time to educate your viewers on this topic. I’m interested in this not for myself because I have plenty of hair but for my mother who is in her 70s and losing hair. She has a habit of dying her hair on a regular basis. I am looking at removing certain shampoos with sodium laurel sulphate and propyleneglycol for instance. And of course controlling her stress. I’ve also looked into massaging the scalp on a daily basis. Which has helped but not fixing the issue just yet. But thank you for your advice I will be taking that on board

    Thank you Dr. Linkov for your generous sharing. For the 4 ingredients you recommend, which one of them are best for oral intake and which one of them are best for tropical application on scalp ?
    And, if Caffine is useful, are those shampoos with Caffine effective enough? I wonder whether there are enough time for the shampoo/ Caffine to be effective when they are only left on scalp for a few minutes.

    Every video i watch of Dr Gary Linkov and I am growing more and more hopeful 🙏🏾 Minoxidil causes some kind of sore growth on my scalp when i was trialing it so had to stop. The growths are like big scabs of dandruff, very similar to psoriasis with the soreness when removing the scabs but my dermatologist has ruled out psoriasis, fungal and yeast. Ive tried so much (had 2 breakdowns over my hair loss and the scalp issues that came when trying to fix it using Regain once a day 5% foam) causing me to shave my thick afro hair twice. The scabs are smaller and less obvious without the use of Minoxidil but i did see new (white) hair while using it too! Anyone who has met this guy and been blessed enough to have been seen by him i envy you!! If i could have one wish, it would be to be seen/treated by Dr Gary Linkov 💫💫💫 I feel like i know him already his videos are so good and full of great recommendations. Going to try some natural remedies suggested in this video to help thinning and a good anti inflammatory is needed Thank you Doctor

    Hi Dr. Gary, was just wondering what the differences would be for someone that lost their hair from cancer treatment. Mainly radiotherapy to the head? My hair came out after 6 weeks of radio to my head everyday. I then had a year of chemo (temozolomide). I didn't see much hair loss from the chemo but lost it in the areas that where targeted by radiotherapy. Some hair has grown back in the areas but it is much thinner than before. Any advice would be much appreciated as I am not sure how much of your advice in all your content is relevant to me.

Or maybe not yet, it's too soon. Anyway I will keep taking it every day because seems to be a very good food supplement, doesn't matter if will help with my hair loss or not.

    My experience with thinning hair. I tried tea tree oil for 4 months. what I did was get a small spray bottle about 2oz size and I added half water and half tea tree oil. I used to shake it up and then spray it on my scalp and massage it in. during those months I noticed small baby hairs being to grow and my hair stopped falling. after doing as much research as I can I came to the conclusion PS IM NOT A DR OR SCIENTIST. what the tea tree oil did was stimulate circulation on my scalp and open the follicles allowing the hair to sprout out if that makes sense . kinda like if the hair inside was trapped and the opening of the follicle they were able to grow. my results was amazing absolutely amazing never has by hair been so full as with using the tea tree oil. so then I experimented some more. my friend over plucked her eye brows like most of did in the dam 90s and since she was young they never ever grew back. so I gave her some tea tree oils and told her to put a drop on her finger and rub it on her brows daily. well to our surprise within the week her brows began to grow she continued to use the oils for a month and then we got to tweezing and reshaping her brows lol they looked amazing and she never had to use the oil again . ok my bro comes over his has a patchy beard so I did the same in the patchy areas the hair sprouted out and we were amazed really only took a few weeks. my hair did not fall out after disc. of tea tree oil. So as a dr what do you think?

    Thanks for all your educating and sometimes even funny videos about hair loss. I truly enjoy absorbing all the information :)
    I am not entirely sure whether I remember correctly and if I read the exact same study about PSO, however, the one I read evaluated not pure PSO but administered a combination of PSO and liquid vitamins. So in this case, I found it difficult to ultimately accredit the promising results to PSO as there was a separate, potentially influencing factor involved (liquid vitamins). This goes more or less in line with your criticism of the tea tree oil study being combined with an anti-inflammatory (diclofenac). Would be great to know whether in the study you quoted, people got PSO solely administered or in combination with something else (e.g. liquid vitamins). Thank you once again for sharing your knowledge in such a kind way with us. Looking forward to your future "natural" products! Greetings from Germany.

      Because the research was not convincing, since it was only proven effective on a population who were biotin deficient. Sorting out my tense neck and temporalis muscles improved my hair a lot, i have a desk job and my desk was too high which forced my shoulders upwards and my head forward, i struggled with chronic tension headaches and an overall tight feeling of my scalp, scalp massages did nothing really, it was getting rid of all my muscle knots elsewhere along with stretching and fixing my posture that helped.

    I'm surprised you forgot to mention onion (not garlic) juice! Allegedly, due to its high sulfur content, it's the most effective natural hair regrowth remedy so far. You're supposed to rub the bald spots with fresh onion juice. I tried it once, but the smell is abysmal. Let's not forget the nettle as well. And, I found some videos on YT about massaging your scalp to increase circulation and induce hair regrowth.

      @@Legend-IAM I didn't continue with the onion juice bc I felt uncomfortable going out smelling bad. The smell lingers forever. I know a few ppl who used nettle tea as a hair toner. It definitely worked for them. I've just bought argan oil -I'll incorporate it with the scalp massage. I guess, consistency (which I lack of) is the key.

    Would be awesome to do it for the ingrediens that are doing the opposite of beneficial aswell.
    For example, will your products include SLS or not? Why not? And so on..

    The rosemary oil study from 2015 needs to have a redo from another group

  • @nacho2998
    @nacho2998 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +25

    In summary:
    Four ingredients showed promise according to the review:
    1. Caffeine, for its potential ability to counteract stress-induced hair loss,
    2. Curcumin, due to its anti-androgenic and anti-inflammatory properties,
    3. Pumpkin Seed Oil, which showed anti-androgenic effects in a convincing study,
    4. Saw Palmetto, well-known for its anti-androgenic and anti-inflammatory properties.
    Gary plans on incorporating these into their new hair products. He emphasized that these natural ingredients should not replace standard medical therapy such as minoxidil, finasteride, laser light therapy, microneedling, and hair transplant surgery, but should instead be used as a complement to these therapies.

      Well, I have used zero of the "standard medical therapy" crapola, and am seeing wonderful new growth after two months work. And I'm 74, with a very large MPB area that looked like a desert before I started.
      It's those medica procedures that are very flaky, and have only intermittent long term effects. They don't treat the nutritional, or emotional aspects of MPB. And let's be straight to the point here, there is a very large chunk of this problem that relates to personal security, and various perceptions in life regarding one's feeling of safety etc.

    This was interesting, thank you for sharing.
    As for rosemary oil, it smells very good. So while it may or may not stimulate hair growth, it may impart a nice scent in your products.
    Also, the evidence supporting laser therapy is sort of unconvincing. I am not saying it doesn't work, just saying I would prefer better evidence. But it seems very safe. and if you have the financial resources to purchase the laser helmut, I suppose it couldn't hurt. And who knows perhaps some people will benefit from it more than others; kind of like minoxidil, which is not very impressive, even at 5%.

    Hello and good afternoon Dr. Gary,
    Not sure I understand the thought process behind using antiandrogenic herbs in an area that is dependent on androgens. I think the focus would be more effective in preventing aromatization and maybe reformulate for autoimmune/inflammatory etiologies. Reach out and we can chat. Dr. George.

      It's because DHT is a potent androgen that causes miniaturization of hair follicles. Androgens are good in balance, but too much of a good thing is a bad thing.

    • @Kira_Martel
      @Kira_Martel ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think it could hurt. There is a school of thought in natural medicine that says it's always best to take the whole herb and not just an extract, because you get the full spectrum of constituents that in many cases are synergistic with the particular constituent of concern.
      I think especially when it's a food-like herb like Pumpkin Seed, it's a great idea to incorporate it into your diet because you will be getting things like zinc when you eat the whole seed and not just the oil. If you're sensitive to lectins you can always soak the seeds for a few hours to overnight before consuming them.
