Such an incredible tutorial - absolutely perfect balance of just the right amount of depth without stretching it on too long but also covering all the nuances necessary to turn an incredible multi-guitar classic into something that can sound great from a single acoustic guitar. Absolutely BRAVO.
Thanks for making this tutorial lee john. My dad has cancer, The doctor said he might have 1 weeks to live, he told me "learn my hero, by foo fighters". When I got home I started looking up tutorials of my hero guitar. 3 days have past, I finally learned the song. When I woke up one morning, I found out that My dad has passed away, turns out he died early. I wasn't able to see him again. The only time I saw him was in his funeral. I never got to see him smile. I love you dad! Your my hero 😢
Great cover of a great song. Love the Foo's and Dave Grohl is a musical genius. I quite like the sound of a C#m7 chord with open b & e strings when playing this so you maintain the treble notes from the open E chord. Also another alternative for beginners who can yet play the full bar chord and it sounds great

Nice, Lee, you always do such a grand job. Always like how you just do your own singing style (which rocks!) I mean, there is no point trying to sound like Dave Grohl :) I’ve seen some people get really fancy with that C bar chord - with lots of frills etc - I find that too much. Perhaps a tiny hammer on or something when you’re on the non-singing bit but that’s all. Anyway, I’m off to practice the octave chord bits. Ta, Lee
