Noticed this yesterday when I was playing Harry Potter Hogwarts Legacy. Great game, but feels like I was playing it to complete it rather than experience it. Felt more like an addiction than an adventure.
If you played this game in your childhood, you're most probably a smart person now. You enjoy ancient egypt history and everything related to it, you have a mind that solves things like solving a puzzle and you get a good vibe when you remember this game. Right?
I played nearly all the TRs when younger and loved them, they gave me a real thirst for travel and that’s what I ended up doing at times as an adult :) travelling is still one of my favourite things to do.
i played this game iwht my older brother when we didnt have internet in the pc and now we are 29 and 31 and miss too much that summer when we played this game together.
This game is so tense, mysterious, dark and hard. I loved it as a child. It amazes me that it is only 6h long. I couldn't finish it and I spend a lot more hours playing that game. After "Coastal Ruins" it gets ridiculously hard. I couldn’t open the underwater temple. There were to many interconnected tasks. You could literally spend months looking for solutions. Also, back then you couldn’t just google the solution. But I ques it was part of the fun.
I spent an entire summer immersed in this. Completely lost for weeks, struggling most of the time, yet still enjoying every moment. It gives me goosebumps to see it again. Thank you so much
The epitome of Tomb Raider was the 3rd game, NOT The Last Revelation. Don't even pretend the last classic games are on the same level as the first 3 games. The plot of TLR happens in the same country, Egypt, while previous games had unique locations in different cultures. It has different Lara model, which doesn't even look closely to who she was in promos. Inventory system became uglier. Passport saving was removed, which is a big downgrade. There are only few added gameplay mechanics, and one of them, the rope, is completely awful, you can't normally use a rope without mastering controls. I'm not even talking about bugged enemies and mini bosses, and about some debilitating puzzles. After this game, came such nonsense named Chronicles, which still stays as the worst sold TR game ever. I will always replay the first 3 games, but TLR abd Chronicles? Hell naw!
Spent many hours playing this game when I was younger, really want to play it again now! I was still got the chills at certain points watching... guardian of semerket used to scare me haha!
I used to play this game for hours and hours as a kid. It was so hard, I never finished it. I would love to play it again just to see if it's still as hard as i thought it was back then. I have a feeling it would be just as hard lol but i love it!!!
This was one of my favorite tomb, raider games because of Egypt exploring the tombs I wish they could remaster all the tomb raider classic PlayStation one games that would be awesome
It looks like they won't. I really dont understand why they didnt i would include this one on the same bag. This is for me the best tomb raider ever made. People say it's 2... honestly i replayed all like 2 years ago and i can confirm this one is the best, the most difficult, the longest , the one with the best puzzles and do i need to mention that its on egypt and you go inside the giza pyramide?.@@NamelessKing666
I've just had a random memory of playing this on my PC in my university halls bedroom with the widow open on a hot day. Suddenly, out of nowhere a really hot girl leant in my window and said "Hello". I said "Err... Hi". She then proceeded to tell me what I needed to do to get past the bit I was stuck on. This is how we found out how to complete games back before we all had the internet.
So many childhood memories. Was the first Tomb Raider I ever played. Two of my closest friends at the time would come play it with me at my house, which is something I miss so much. I’m still close to my school friends, but none of them are gamers. The friends I spoke about were from my neighborhood, and I’ve lost with them ages ago.
I loved the beginning level so much. I only played Angkor Wat as a child, Tomb of Seth was already too scary and hard for me 😅 This is my favorite Tomb Raider 💛 it’s incredible how well you know every level 😮 you did an awesome job at all your walkthroughs!! 🙌✨
The sense of time was so distorted when I was a kid, the game is only 6-hours long and I stopped my playthrough at Karnak, very very soon but in my head it seems I've played it for countless days and hours! I do remember being at home sick and driving through the desert with Lara's jeep. It gave a vivid sense of freedom and discovery.
and if they remaster the game also look at the controls they are a mess in the game that is now make normal controls with the graphics and so that you have a good view of the camera behind the character not have the character more in profile or in front than from behind that when he runs and the right stick can be used to move the camera left right so you can see where you are walking then it would be easier the game better So not only graphics to make it better games don't cost only in graphics to be good and in gameplay and how is this game it can't be considered a good game the controls are a mess and because of that it can't be considered a good game
Haha, the memories...! Played it back then. ♡ I remember the 2 ropes in a row and I thought I was clever saving in the middle of the jump from rope 1 to 2 - but missed rope 2 lol :D also loved the soundtrack and the little in between movies.
Yes, I don't think he's playing. He has a software, a robot, something that runs the game. There are programs like that. You install them, and I've never used them, but I've heard them on the internet. the game program and runs it automatically such softwares are also used illegally in network games Like counter strike there are some who use some softwares that go through the game for them and then the game software reads the program and knows how to run the game so that he can complete it and then sure It seems easy because it does the software instead of the human but so to play it personally impossible because of the controls First of all the controls are a mess

Great upload and playing! One thing I always thought strange about this game was that obtaining the Amulet of Horus and releasing Seth in the beginning was too easy. What I mean is that the ancient creators of the tomb should've made it more impenetrable considering how dangerous Seth is. And on the flip side they made reversing it (obtaining the armor and scrolls) much much harder, spending 90% of the game on that reversing. It all should've been the opposite in difficulty.
