I loved the golden glow and aqua colors and hues in the pyramids/egyptian sections of the TR1 and didn't like their color palette AT ALL for this remake. Why did they use such dull , greyish dark color schemes all the time. This was the beginning of the end of when new people come in and change it so much. Was disappointed, but agreed with other comments that the atmosphere and tone and ambience of the original will never be topped :) Thanks for your efforts too... ^_^
I think it was likely for the more updated, realistic look that the legend games have. I agree with u tho, anniversary in particular seemed to have more muted and pale boring colors in comparison to legend and underworld. the original had much more life
Tomb Raider at it finest. Anniversary gave us the best of both Timelines
I'll always prefer the original Tomb Raider, but this was quite impressive in its own right.
Only thing I dislike about Anniversary is the adrenaline dodge stuff.
I wish TB2, 3, and Last Revelation or Chronicles need to be a remake.
