Me too
Unfortunately I’m old enough to remember a time before this was parodied and was just a powerful, uplifting film score.
There are three word describing well this masterpiece: evergreen, immortal and timeless.
The moment in life when you do your best toward your goal is the happiest time.
Because your soul is full of hope rather than despair.
ماذا عن روح مرت فاستغفرت فزادتني حسنه❤
بحثت عن هذي الموسيقى لاتذكر الزمان الماضي الجميل 😢😢😢
The very first song I can remember hearing as a child. What a blessing!
Same. Instilled in me a sense of wonder...
@@serotoninsyndrome indeed
I was about ten when this came out. Great memories. In my top 50 songs of all time.

I was in 1st grade. My mom loved this song.

I played this song over and over again, each time my wife sat for her ACCA exam papers till she completed everything. Its such an amazing journey to turn failures into success .
Well done and keep working hard guys. Never to Give up on anything you intend to accomplish.
This Masterpiece never gets old, i always wondered how He came up with this...😭 😭
Rest In Paradise Sir Vangelis...I bet the Heavens played this song to welcome You 😘👌🏽
Rest in peace, Maestro. So sad to hear the legend Vangelis has passed away. His superb compositions will live with us forever.
The moment in life when you do your best toward your goal is the happiest time.
Because your soul is full of hope rather than despair.
In 100 years Vangelis might have the status that Mozart, Strauss and others now have. This music is just magic and fabulous.
Vangelis, RIP!
Khachaturian won't be too far behind.
i think if Mozart hears this he'd be mad Vangelis beat him to it
I've always known of this song but never knew anything about Vangelis. In my naivety, i honestly thought this was a classical song from the era of such great composers and lumped them together. So I would say you are absolutely correct except for the "in 100 years" part
John Williams no doubt deserves to be in that category as well
Probably not in the same category but he will definitely be remembered.
Still gives me the goosebumps 😁. Good bye old friend.
Vangelis just punching darts while the fellas are running. What a start to a music video 😅
This guy. This score. He got me revved up for big games, races, exams, anything. He picked me up when I was down. He inspired and he soothed.
RIP legend.
We’ve never met, but I can tell we’re similar. Same. RIP Legend.
Legend and thief. Look up the song City of Violets.
One of his biggest hits, Vangelis has left us with a mountain, possibly even mountain range of musical hits to last several lifetimes. RIP Vangelis, and thank you for the music.
Definitely a mountain range
Oh God! The beauty of this music.. It's my graduation march in 1982... I can still see myself walking up to the podium to receive my graduation Certificate .. RIP Maestro!
Damn you’re a little old to be on here..

Un día triste para la música electrónica. Otro grande del género que se despide pero nos ha dejado un valioso legado. No te olvidaremos, Vangelis.

RIP Vangelis I remember my coach putting this song on for us while we drove to a race and you could just feel the Ora of this music hit your soul and get you ready to race. RIP vangelis
Aura
That was a serendipitous error. Ora is Latin. It means mouths, but is also the imperative form of the verb orare, to pray. Best known in the phrase "ora pro nobis," pray for us, used in Catholic liturgy. This song IS a prayer of sorts.
@@tenorlove Of sorts...but not really. So yeah. It should be aura. Nice try at covering, though.
@@Fairy_princess214 Covering what? Some people can find the hole in the grindstone and see through it.
@@tenorlove It was a misspelling. Not "serendipitous". I'm pretty sure that quoting refrigerator magnets isn't going to change that.
