in 1999, there was a Solar Eclipse, it was a big deal because the last time a full eclipse happened in my city was 75 years ago from that time, back then I was like in third grade ish, like 8 or so..for an entire month, everyone was talking about this expected Solar Eclipse, on tv, in coffee shops, in the street, everywhere, and many of tv announcements and ads about this Solar Eclipse, such as interviews with scientists talking about full Eclipse effects or entertainment shows explaining how to DIY the glasses needed to watch the Eclipse live (I still have the glasses that I made myself), most of these shows and ads (for some reason) they had this music as the background music, mostly captions with accelerated Solar Eclipse videos with this music as the background music and stuff like that, that's why I always called it "the eclipse music" since then, and even tho now I know it's called Chariots Of Fire and everything about this piece and the movie behind it, I still tend to subconsciously think "oh the Eclipse music" whenever I hear it again...it mostly remind of how Sad I was after the Solar Eclipse Ended and how Stunned I was by the view of the 10-minute Day Night and the blazing ring in the sky, all these childhood memories are brought back whenever I hear Chariots OF Fire.

in 1999, there was a Solar Eclipse, it was a big deal because the last time a full eclipse happened in my city was 75 years ago from that time, back then I was like in third grade ish, like 8 or so..for an entire month, everyone was talking about this expected Solar Eclipse, on tv, in coffee shops, in the street, everywhere, and many of tv announcements and ads about this Solar Eclipse, such as interviews with scientists talking about full Eclipse effects or entertainment shows explaining how to DIY the glasses needed to watch the Eclipse live (I still have the glasses that I made myself), most of these shows and ads (for some reason) they had this music as the background music, mostly captions with accelerated Solar Eclipse videos with this music as the background music and stuff like that, that's why I always called it "the eclipse music" since then, and even tho now I know it's called Chariots Of Fire and everything about this piece and the movie behind it, I still tend to subconsciously think "oh the Eclipse music" whenever I hear it again...it mostly remind of how Sad I was after the Solar Eclipse Ended and how Stunned I was by the view of the 10-minute Day Night and the blazing ring in the sky, all these childhood memories are brought back whenever I hear Chariots OF Fire.
