    Just before the squealing sound, I think I saw an old guy with a walker trying to cross the road... coincidence probably. Jokes aside, if you put the car in "S+" driving mode and you floor it from stop position, you will hear the exact same squealing sounds during the first and second gear change (taking you to 5th or 7th gear) 🙂

    I love that you admit you’re scared with this car in certain modes! It’s important to be honest because your driving a literal beast in a car

    Awesome Video man. I was driving on the heavy rain on a 2020 mustang gt premium one day and I didn't realize the car was on track mode and it started hydroplaning out of no where and caused me an accident. Definitely scary!

    Completely agree with your asessment of each mode. You missed sport mode (on the shifter). This is my "go to" mode when driving around and feel a need for some power. If there were a sport+ mode, without all the excessive downshift reving, I would have my permanent driving mode. Great video. thx.

    what you're hearing during drag mode is wheel hop which can really damage stuff back there, so I wouldn't recommend it until you get something to stabilize the rear end (ie. steeda's stop the hop kit or BMR CB005)

    Do you have to manually shift when in sport/drag/track mode or does it shift automatically in any of those modes ?
    Also, do you have to shift the stick to S when driving in those more aggressive modes ?
    Sorry, I’m new to Mustangs. I just bought a 2022 GT Premium and I know it’s under warranty but I don’t wanna mess up anything.
    Please advise. Thanks!

    • @zonabros677
      @zonabros677  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don’t have to manually shift in those modes it does it automatically by default, but you can using the paddle shifters if needed. No you don’t have to shift it to S, it can be used if you want to manually shift using paddle shifters without the car going back to automatically shifting. Also keep in mind that some modes bring the traction control down a level and let you slide around a bit but there should still be some level of traction control still (I believe track and drag modes). Congrats on the Mustang, hope you enjoy it! Let me know if you have any more questions!

      @@zonabros677 Thanks very much! I appreciate your response. I'm enjoying it everyday tho I really need to take it slowly since I almost had few dents with it.
      But will definitely try all those different modes and shifting.
      Tomorrow I'm getting my Roush H-pipe installed.

    What if your car is tuned?? Do the tuners only make the tune affect “D” normal drive?? Or do they program the car for every single drive mode?

    • @zonabros677
      @zonabros677  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It should affect all drive modes.

    What would be the best way to do a roll race on one of these

    • @zonabros677
      @zonabros677  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not too sure about the best way but switching it to sport mode would keep the car in a lower gear so the throttle response would be faster

    • @Gtking616GamerX
      @Gtking616GamerX 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Best way is to put it in "S" and downshift to the gear you need, then once you go WOT put it back in D and let the car shift. Don't hold down the gear selector button like if you were shifting from P to R or something, just bump it up into D.

    Do the base model gts have the ability to change drive mods?

    • @zonabros677
      @zonabros677  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No unfortunately the base mustangs can’t switch drive modes, you’ll either need the 301A or the 401A package to switch drive modes. The 301A is a $2000 upgrade and the 401A is a $4000 upgrade. If you were to buy a mustang, I would highly recommend the 301A package as it includes some nice features like the 8 inch touchscreen, drive modes, ambient lighting, and better speakers.

    • @thefitnesslife4988

    how do u change the modes if u dont have the premium package? cause for example you have that 4th switch on the right but in the base version there is no 4th switch so how would i change the modes on a base model?

    • @zonabros677
      @zonabros677  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      So on the Mustang there are a total of 2 packages above the base version of the car. There is the premium package, which is called the 401A, and there is another package which gives you only some of the features of the premium package for cheaper (including the drive modes), which is the 301A package (the one I have). The base is the 300A package which unfortunately does not have drive modes, the only other "mode" on the base is the sport mode which you can switch to using the shifter if you have an automatic. I don't believe there is a way to get the modes on the base version. Hope that answered your question!

    • @cenz5842
      @cenz5842 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ZonaBros ok thanks for the answer but also how would u kno if its the base or the one above it? not the premium the one in between the premium and the base

    • @zonabros677
      @zonabros677  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cenz5842 One way you can figure out if the Mustang is above a base trim but below a premium is looking for the infotainment screen and whether or not it has leather seats. The one in the middle has the 8 inch touchscreen while the base has a 4 inch non touchscreen. The middle one also has cloth seats while the premium comes with leather seats. The middle one also comes with automatic temperature control with no heated or cooled seats, while the base comes with manual temp control and the premium comes with automatic temp control AND heated and cooled seats. If the window sticker is available I would request to look at that because that would tell you exactly what packages the car has. Let me know if you have more questions!
