    Nice vid! Im from México and looking forward to get a 2021 GT, in our market there are no pp, only 1 version what you can get. BTW, I noticed at the end of the video that you use the paddles to shift from 3rd to 4th gear and it reacted pretty slow compared to previous moments, does it have something to do with how hard you step on the gas when using the manual mode shifting? Perhaps hard acceleration enhances quicker shifts? Thanks!

    • @steedaautosports
      @steedaautosports  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If I recall correctly, export GTs all have Performance Package installed. At least I know that is how it is in the Euro-spec vehicles. And sometimes shifts are a bit delayed. All depends on what's happening with the car at that time. It's not like it's sporadic, though. Very easy to get used to! -Chris

    is it normal that in gears 3-7 the 10r80 wont make any exhaust noise even at high RPM? I've got a H pipe. But besides the transmission whine there's no exhaust noise unless I throttle it and when I let off rpms will be high mainly 2.5-4k but noise is completely gone.

    Ur '18 dash @ bout 18:30 in shows 3 icons in middle screen. My '19 Bullitt looks the same till Ihad it at dealership for sone work, unrelated to dash system. In fact they told me they did NOT LOAD or change any part of the software or update it. Soon as I departed dealer, i know had a "shock absorber/dampner" icon in the lower left making the center screen on dig dash show this 4th setting. So its a picture of a coilover shock icon & says next to it what "mode" the mag ride is in. My Bullitt was built in early '19. & dealer says they updated nothing in software during visit.
    This icon's job appears to "verify" ur Mag Ride setting along w/which driving mode you are in. Can anyone speak to this topic of how off show rm floor no icon. After dealership visit I know hav this on my M6 Bullitt which is 100% stk. I understand updates happen. But when told NO software updates were apart of the cars visit, & now I clearly hav another icon filling 4 corners vs 3 corners like your screen around ~18:30 mark.
    Now u did a video on how to tell if ur car has Mag ride.
    Im pointing out that I have a dash icon on my Bullitt that shows which mag ride setting Im in at any give time I adjust from normal/sport/sport +/ track.. ect..
    Anyone care to verify or deny seeing a shock Icon just to left of the Active Exh icon setting on a digital dash like our '19 Bullitt?

    I wish he touched on the throttle sensitivity more. Keeping his pillow reference, S+ is a thinner pillow, opposite of Snow/Wet; in Track mode, the throttle response is 1:1. I've never used Drag, but would assume based on what I saw in his MyMode section, that it would remain 1:1 as if in Track mode.
    Hope this helps.

      S on the gear selector is more or less the ability to use the paddle shifters and hold the gear. • @steedaautosports
      @steedaautosports  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nope, no need to use the paddle shifters if the driving mode is in Sport+! They’re optional unless the gear selector is in “S”. Even then, it’ll shift for you, but if you use the paddles at that point, it’ll lock in that gear till you use the paddles again. You can use the paddles in “D” on the gear selector regardless of driving mode and it will eventually revert back to shifting on its own after a few seconds. Hope this helps! -Chris

Does any one know if I can swap out to 18 x 9's and put 275 all around? Would this be a good set up? I don't want to stagger so that I can rotate tires but want that wider stance. How would a 2018+ GT PP1 10 speed do against a GT350 around the track?

    • @TheKevinHermon
      @TheKevinHermon 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the track is slow and technical, GTPP1A10 takes it. If it’s bigger and more wide-open, the higher-revving Voodoo engine will win out.

    • @steedaautosports
      @steedaautosports  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    All I know is the esc and traction control act a little a different, but both stay on in sport +

    • @steedaautosports
      @steedaautosports  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Joseph - Sounds like you have an automatic car, correct? From what I've understood, "Sport" on the gear shifter simply allows you to use the paddles and hold the gear you're in. Sport+ in the driving modes is where you'll see a change in throttle response, traction control, ABS, etc. Now, if you are in Sport+ in the driving modes, but have your gear shifter in "D," then it will not hold the gear with the paddle shifters. You can still use them, but after maybe 5-7 seconds, it'll upshift to a cruising gear. In any drive mode, if you want to use the paddle shifters in full "manual" mode and hold the gear you're in, then that's where you'll but the shifter in "S" for "Sport". Hope this helps! -Chris
