10 Minute Yoga Stress and Anxiety

  • This is a gentle 10 minute yoga for stress and anxiety relief. The stretches in this yoga class are focusing on the hips to help release tension within the lower body. Focusing on the hips and lower back will help to let go of physical and emotional stress as we hold a lot of our stagnant emotion within our hips. The supine twist pose however will also get into the chest helping you to create the space needed for optimal oxygen intake helping to combat anxious feelings. Being super calm and restorative, this class can be done anytime of the day but i think it makes a great bedtime yoga routine.

    I literally can’t believe it. I have my first uni exam in two days and I’ve been crying all day cause I’m anxious, this yoga helped me so much that I cried out of relief. Thank you!

      I hope your exam went well ! (I know this was 8 months ago).
      I just had an incredibly triggering therapy session. I love my therapist, she and I soul talk, but I ended up having an anxiety attack creep up on me. I found Yoga with Bird, and I was also doing the same. Just crying, from the sheer relief of it all. Bird is an amazing woman, with a wonderful, soothing voice. I can’t get enough. I start and end my days with her.

    I have an operation tomorrow. Ive already had 2 panic attacks today, left 3 of my classes and left school early....my SEN mentor and mt mum suggested yoga....thank you for this.

    When you said “show yourself some self love and self care”, I almost cried. I’ve been shamed for trying to rest my body and mind, I’ve been shamed for trying to love myself and care about how my body feels. I have never really put in effort to try to help my body because I am not allowed to (my family doesn’t really care about how I feel, they say “just push through it” and it’s destroying me). Giving myself just a few minutes to stretch and lay down, listening to your voice, has been phenomenal. I will be coming back again. 💙✨🙏

    This is a perfect yoga sequence. So short, so calming, no downward dog, just pure rest. At shivasana I heard a voice whispering I love you and I got so emotional 🥺

    First time doing a guided yoga.. and WOW! I am deff coming back tomorrow morning, and every morning for as long as I can. Such a good alternative to meditation. Something sitting and trying to focus on my breath doesn't always work but THIS STUFF hits the spot. Here is to the beginning of my healing and transformation journey.

    I just did my 28 mintues yoga session , It was my first time doing yoga. Cant believe the calmness , the emptyness , the pain , the peace i Got all in the same time . My mind was so complicated before and It just decreased everything. I feel so better , I can't believe this feeling. THANKS.

    I suffer terrible anxiety since the loss of my father, especially health anxiety I’m always convinced something is wrong with me and it’s affecting my day to day life, doing this video and just connecting with my body and allowing myself to feel what I feel was amazing!     I LOVE your channel. I really struggle with yoga and soft tissue damage but I have gotten so much relief from your videos. Your speed of speech is perfect too, some yoga instructors go too fast and I can't keep up, so thank you I really appreciate that!

    I just finished doing this guided yoga for the first time. I have been feeling extremely overwhelmed and anxious and depressed. During the yoga I felt immense emotions and just let out and released all my tears I've been holding back for so long 🥺 it felt so good to just cry it out while doing this yoga!!     giving myself the time to "show up" on the mat (though i did it on the cold floor really which i enjoy), made me realize that i have so much love to give to all humanity. yoga is more than all the graceful, relaxing and uncomfortable positions (for beginners like me), it lifted my spirit and reminded me to connect with earth, gaia, the universe and with my spirit. thank you.

    i am struggling a lot with my relationship with my body and have been extremely stressed recently from school and thoughts of food taking up a lot of the space in my mind. these yoga sessions are the highlight of my night where i can fully relax and just exist without feeling overwhelmed :(

    I was so relived I literally cried at the end. I have problems with stress related pain and due to my school stuff I was so tired that I devided to once againg try to do some yoga with u to relive myself. Thank you, just thank you ❤️🥺

    i appreciate that you shared this ,it's helped me relax so much although the knee exercices were harder for me as im in the process of becoming more flexible,i simply listened to my body and changed my positions to my suiting ,your voice and the music are soothing and so is the vibe that you give with your expressions i describe it as raw,again thank you for this work

    Thank you, Bird!! I had a stressful day at school, because I have social anxeity, and felt terrible. I got home and my higher self gave me the idea to do some yoga. After 10 minutes, I feel so much better! Gratfeul for that

    I was looking for a stress relief yoga practice and many the ones I checked out were stressful because I haven't been on my mat in ages and am a bit stiff and tight. I was looking for something peaceful and relaxing and not "work". This fit the bill perfectly! I can even do this in bed before sleep to just nurture and care for myself if I haven't done so that day.
    At the beginning I was uncomfortable doing the butterfly pose and couldn't hold it but at the end when you were moving and stretching I went back into the pose and I was much more relaxed and comfortable. I also noticed I could go into a wider stretch. I highly recommend people seeing how deep relaxation takes the stress off of our muscles and allows that deeper stretch!
    I will be forwarding this practice to a couple of people who will enjoy this. Thank you! 🧘‍♂️
