are you using tempered glass/ screen protector?

This is a realistic test because I never need phones that can survive 1000-feet drop or hammer smashing. If the phone survives a pocket-height drop, then it's good enough.

I don’t think this was a genuine drop test for a product review. Ideally dropping the phone on its back, front and sides would show how well these cases truly protects the phone. However; glad your Note 9 survived.
If it was a sponsored device then I would have went all out
I think the test is really realistic. Mostly when my phone falls it falls from my pocket or from the table or from my desk. Than very rarely it falls exactly on the back, it mostly falls exactly as shown in the test! It's always necessary and good to have a case!
Thanks for your test, it is reasonable to drop it from hip height as it most likely to happen. If you're dropping it from a higher level it means you are careless and should own a Nokia 3310.

Dogs u have are n added glass protector on board at time of tests? Do you suggest any other brand of protection cases.. ex: otter? I cant remember other names lolol

I don't have a screen protector on at time of drop test. And no the cases fit nice and tight and don't slide about. I do have other videos of other cases if you would like to check those out.👍

I recently came across the Ringke Dual-X for my new Note 9. Yes, Note 9. I'm a late bloomer. I got the Dual-X in a Slate Metal color that looks great with the Ocean Blue Note 9. I like the look of the Fusion-X, but not the clear back. The Dual-X fits the bill. Have you tried the Ringke Dual-X with any of your phones? If so, what do you think about it? If you have it/get it, could you do a drop test with it?

Thanks! And yes it is screen protector friendly. Ive had a screen protector before. I just prefer my phone without one. I do apply the screen protector with the case on so it perfectly lines up

I got the Ringke Fusion X for my Galaxy Note 9. But how do you have a Galaxy Note 9 logo at the back of your phone? It looks great.
That's just the logo on my phone lol it came like that
Coz thats the US and LATAM version (Snapdragon).
International Versions (Exynos) doesnt come with that logo. I hope it helps.
it SHOULD have that logo i have the same logo on my cloud silver Note 9

I have the Fusion X on my Note 9. So far so good. It has a nice grip at the side. Never drop it yet. Hopefully never will... So it's nice to see it can hold up just fine in case of emergency. But damn the case is a fingerprints magnet...
MOST cases will protect the curve screen phones well on the back, front, sides and corners. it's the SCREEN that you have to wonder if a case will protect. i tell people all the time, for curve screen phones, ONLY cases with built in screen protectors will work. i use one from i-blason and it's saved my phone 3x from falls on concrete

Could you please show us the edge of the phone after drop test with case? Any dent on corner of the phone? I had same experiences. But I am accidentally dropped. Not purposely.
You'll see some close ups in my review video of the screen and body of the phone. No dents or scratches were done. Still looking brand new 👍
it's safe to believe the edges are safe from damage. it's the screen i'd like to inspect carefully

Yes they are good with pretty much any screen protector due to that extra bit of bezel on the sides of the Note 9

The black one is super nice in person. You won't be disappointed. Either way I use both back and forth and they both look great👍

You should drop your phone vertically face down/ side wise/ back side down. That'll be a more proper drop test. Here while you're throwing your device it's landing on it's corners all the three times ..thus the screen or the back panel never came into impact with the ground at all....may be you're aware of it too......
You can do that with your own device.

@@Josh_Quinonez it may not have but there's just no way that screen hit the concrete and came away unscathed it may not have even cracked at all but there HAS to be light scrapes
The screen never hit the concrete because of the lip on the cases

Should have got an Otterbox Defender (my vote for the best protective case kit). Followed by the UAG Monarch series...
Model to model...won't make a diff...it's the case. Does it have thick silicon corner protection. Backing....

nope, i-blason 360 with built in screen protector.....then again i see that UB is short for unicorn beetle so you're right. they make the same built in screen protector cases as i-blason so yes you're correct (i have the i-blason ares 360)

Hi guys ive got the ringke fusion x camouflage for my Samsung a70 go on youtube and watch the ringke videos you wont be disapointed if I wanted a mous cover for my a70 it would cost me 30 quid but they only do it for ipones I think my ringke cost me 12 quid so go out and get a ringke fusion x 3 to choose from and they all look so cool the camo is the best scores 5 *****.

The cases i really recommend is lifeproof,tech 21,uag and outerbox best of the best never had a problem with them i curently use the uag n lifeproof wen i go offroading cause is dirtproof n dustproof and all
