Incredible album full of gems, I adore nearly all the songs, especially the closing title of course 🙂When I saw the cover of the CD in a shop here in Belgium in 1995 or 96, I was very intrigued, and very surprised when I understood it was a Tony Banks album.. I listened to it a lotwhile walking in countryside and trained a lot my voice on these songs, I thing this album is very underrated and deserved to be discovered, a great inspiration for me, thanks Mr Banks and Mr Hues 👍
The material that Wang Chung did on William Friedkin's film 'To Live and Die in L.A.' sounds similar to music you've written (probably also due to instrumentation with the Emulator II, DX7, CP-70, and LinnDrum on it). Jack's voice is a great fit for your music, as well as the style of music he's done solo and with Wang Chung. In an alternate universe it would have been brilliant hearing him work with you during the 80s. :)
I love this album and I bought it the day it came out! I didn't even know it was a Tony Banks record at first, was just intrigued by the cover. Now, almost twenty years later, I keep hoping for a re-release on vinyl.
Me pareció un álbum brillante , con una bella voz de Jack y unos momentos únicos de Tony , lo conseguí en una disquería de importados porque a Argentina estas novedades jamás llegarían , con A curious .... me parecen conceptualmente lo mejor del material solista.
Personally, I think "A Piece of You" is, in the words of Mr. Banks: "utterly fantastic!!!" And as a San Diego native who datef a guy, "he'll be known as Dan," is great!!!
ACF & The Fugitive are the new stereo mixes, then there are various tracks that have been remixed throughout, e.g. Tracks 1,6,7,8 on Soundtracks have been remixed, 1,2,3,6,7,9 & 11 on Bankstatement have been remixed. Remixing has occurred where Tony saw fit / wanted to address certain things. All specifics are in the booklet in the box set.
Jack was really great on Strictly Inc.

The Serpent Said is one of my all-time favourites from your solo career. Jack Hues is great indeed.
Jack Hues, once more, is brilliant in this album...🇨🇱
Jack was really a great contribution to your solo music!
Great interview, just got my strictly inc. CD through the mail today. Got it after being a fan of Jack Hues' stuff.

Just to clarify...which albums on the box set are remixed, and which are original mixes?
