hi, is the motor exactly the same between fold 3 and fold pro? Or could this be the reason of the price difference? Thank you for your videos anyway
Hi, no the fold pro has a stronger motor than the fold 3. This could indeed be the difference in price. Although it is different i dont notice a whole lot of it when i use the machines. Happy to hear you enjoy my videos😇🙏

Hii!
I have this machine and use it a lot, the 4.2 is a super weird stroke. Seems way harder than it should be, i used it a few times while outlining it and it hit way harder than i thought it was going too. I tend to use the 3.0, 3.3, 3.6, 3.9, depending on what part of the body im tattooing what I'm doing like lining, shading, color packing, i guess 4.2 would be good for someone with a little bit rougher skin. But also i really like how they put the lining and shading mode on there, you can set your lining voltage then the shading voltage and you can just hit one button and youre good to go between the 2 and its way easier then having to sit there snd push the plus or minus button to get to the voltage you want.
I was litterally just talking to dragonhawk about this machine and how nobody has reviewed it
I called dips😂
@@Tattoobart147 good for you bro. I knew it was just a matter of time
Thanks bro 🙏
May i ask, how is the maintenance of this machine? How to put grease on it?
Honestly i havent tried to get to the motor part. It is much harder to reach the motor than on other machines.
And brotha can you maybe sell me like this machine or other ones when you kinda don’t use them anymore please 🙏
Bro i dont sell equipment, i just make informative videos about them. On top of that i am pretty sure it will be more expensive to buy them from me, pay shipping and custom taxs than buy them from the website with my discount code
@@Tattoobart147 thanks for the response it’s all good I was just wondering
Get well soon, Bart. Greetings from the S.a.A.Baan
❤️
Do they make a RCA adapter for this pen yet?
No not that i know of
❤
I really want this machine now lol dang I can’t get enough videos of all these machines lol then I just buy what’s the cheapest like I got a dragonhawk x5 and it’s brushless has the battery in it so it’s small and 4mm stroke and I’m loving it I tu it at like 6-7 volts for lining, and so at that’s my problem I can’t do lines how I used to
What do you mean i cant do lines like i used to? You mean going to a pen from a coil?
@@Tattoobart147 yes except like I used to tattoo a lot but then stopped and my linework was getting good now I am actually getting the hang of the new style but it is wierd lol
@@AndrueSOCAL i think its more the cartridge than the machine that makes it feel weird. For me it helped to slow my machine down and press a little bit harder on the skin.
@@Tattoobart147 thank you I was thinking ima have to buy some better liners and round liners and then I’ll see be able to maybe be a bit better and for like budget one what do you recommend or should I just get some good ones like kwadron
Well its not really the quality of the cartridge. It more the cartridge itself that feels a bit different. And honestly i dont like the kwadron liners, the inkflow sucks. I have used so many different brand. I think the elite carts, magic moon or sabre are my favorite
What tattoo machine is best for beginners tattooing on real skin?
That is very personal. I think. Check the videos on my channels about stroke lenght and how weight impacts your tattooing. It will probably help you make a better decision
@@Tattoobart147 i was thinking the fold pro but I’m looking forward to your next video comparing the fold 3 to that.
Also I noticed on their website you can either get 2 original battery’s or an “airbot.” What’s the difference between a normal battery and an airbot and which do you suggest?
An airbot is probably a battery you van plug into any machine with an Rca connection. I think if you are looking at the fold pro or fold 3 i would just go with the 2 battery option instead of the airbot. But yes next week i will post the comparison video next week. If you cant wait, they are both very good machines and you will probably be satisfied. I have a link and coupon code in the discription so you can save 10% ☺️
Great, thank you so much! Sorry for all the questions haha
@sophaloafff2342 no problem, thats part of why i am doing youtube
Out of the fold 3, the fold pro, the yilong f3, the xnet vipera/bestia, EZ p3 or ambition mars u, which do tou think is the best?
I havent tested the ez p3 so i dont know about that one. But so far i like the f3 for its longer stroke and the fold. But which fold i like the best is what i need to find out still
How would you go about wrapping this machine?
Yeah thats the tough part… i am going to try and explain in the video thats coming out later this afternoon. So keep your eyes peeled
@@Tattoobart147 Awesome! Are you planning on doing a more in depth video about it and tattooing with it a bit more? I'm thinking about getting it for my first machine
Well i am going to compare it to some other stroke adjustable machines, which could be helpfull. I will go a bit more indepth in a future video. Probably later this week. But its save to say that the fold 3 is a really good machine to start of with. But my advice to anyone who get a machine like this for the first time is to not play around with stroke settings to much. Keep ik at 3.6 and learn how to work with that stroke before you start adjusting (but thats just my take on it)
These machines will not last the only multistroke that has the bearings made well enough to last more than 12 months of use is stigma rotaries spear2.0 and the thorn2.0 aswell as axys vallhalla...
Well with somethings you get what you pay for. I an pretty curious about the thorn 2.0. I did hear a lot of bad things about the axys vallhalla to be honest. But since its so new i think there is a lot of improvement still to come
@@Tattoobart147 ive had the axys vallhalla i do like it but its too heavy and even more so with battery the thorn is pretty good so far but it does vibrate more than other machine im stuck on the coils i always go back to my seth cifferis but since we got to use disposables i use a kubin and hatchback irons sharp pen
@ivanmendoza8457 yeah i feel you. Coils and sidewinders are hard to step away from. And at the end of the day it all comes down to what works the best for you as an artist.
