10:44 to me for the portrait art ! I’ll be using 5rl for some lining ! 9rl for SHOW TIME thick shading , 7CM hair stroke . While 11CM for the highlight shading details !
Different size gauges are all down to personal preference. Generally speaking the smaller gauges give a more solid saturation but when they get too small they can actually have the opposite effect so it’s just a matter of finding what works for you. Thanks for watching!
On the 1st question I was thinking 1203 liner and the 1007 so glad to see I was somewhere close 😂 just got my equipment about a month ago and it’s been a learning curve but it helps a lot to think of it like painting. My problem I’ve been having is parts of lines fading and just being superficial rather than staying in the skin. Which I believe is a result of me not stretching the skin in those areas or moving too fast and too shallow. (Btw I only tattoo myself so the tats I’m referring to are my own, wouldn’t go putting my craziness onto somebody for life, at least not at my current level.)
What an awesome, informative video. Nice energy too. Really there to help. It makes me think. How lucky we are, who starting into tattooing nowadays comparing to those way before.... Thanks for the video. It's helps alot. Lots of friends want tattoos from me because I do graphic design. I have the equipment for tattoos but I just don't want to mess up on this medium. Being it's someone's skin. Thinking of the needles as brushes helps my anxiety..👍

@@Streetzaholic textured means the ends of the needles haven’t been polished so hold ink better in the ‘textures parts’. It’s just a matter of working out what works best for you. Try experimenting.
This was very informative . I love the little test at the end ! I got the em all right 🤎
Excuse me, what type of brand needles are you normally using master . Thanks you for your helpful video!
I’ve started using EnvyGen2 cartridges. They’re really good quality needles.
Do u have 3 different pens set up with the different cartridges set up ready for each tattoo or do u switch out the needles during the procedure?
Personally I usually use the same machine and switch between cartridges and volts accordingly.
