- Bass fishing in the summer can be a real grind. It's hot, miserable, and those fish can be finicky when it comes to what they'll chase and bite. But I have two lures that are so versatile they cover just about every situation on the water and best of all, hardly anyone else will be be using them; especially like this! These tricks will certainly increase your number of summer bites and make bass fishing in the heat much less of a slog! #fishing #bassfishing #fishingtips

How has your June fishing been so far? Has it been good or a grind!
Fishing has been kind of slow during our heat wave, so I would say its been a grind.
Grinding here in west Tn.:)
Grinding to a halt. Lol.
More of a grimd than avictory - but fishing water new to me.
I don’t know best resource to look to regarding when/if there is a bluegill spawn, a shad spawn, or a crayfish spawn -on any given body of water-such as creek, river, or a given local lake wherever I’m dishing. Do people throw baitnets to “find the forage?”
I suppose there are minnow, crawdads, bluegill “all summer long,” but the occasion of each’s spawn seems to mean they’ll bite on something of a certain size, a certain color, certain depth preferentially
I like your simple and informative approach. I watch daily. Keep up the good work. You don’t try and sell me stuff, just basic teaching . We need more like you. Thank you.
Thanks! I really appreciate you watching!
OK - are you f’in kidding me! Absolutely brilliant! I’m in Illinois and I’m a smallmouth fisherman, I thought I’ve seen it all but this is killer! I love you, dude! Thanks so much for sharing - I can’t wait to try this in the river while wade fishing.
Awesome! I'm happy you liked it!
Ive been doing okay, the wako rig ,the zara puppy in bone color, the football jig, crankbait burning, and swimming worm have been good at the pond.Go Lowbrow 💥🎣👊
Those are great ways to catch fish!
You’re so right. The distance a soft jerkbait can be tossed makes it a super appealing lure. Every time I use one I am always reminded of that. That in itself adds versatility on those days the extra long casts are needed.
It doesn't seem like it would ever cast that far, but that's one of the big reasons why a soft jerkbait is a go to lure for me on so many tough days!
Those are some great tips! Definitely gonna use that wacky setup next time I go out.
It works great! I think you'll really like it!
More great tips buddy! Enjoyed the video! Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching!
I stared using a fluke jr as a chatterbait trailer on the small 1/4 oz size and I noticed how much more it vibrates. Caught the biggest fish I ever caught on a chatterbait.
It really makes a big difference!
Good class thanks 😂Oregon
Thanks for watching!
I personally love summer fishing, it really limits where to target!
Agreed. It's always easier when the bass are in predictable spots.
Luv the whacky rig Tube I learned something today thanx
Thanks so much for watching!
I caught some large and smallmouth bass on a tube the last 2 days. Never heard of a wacky tube though! I'll give it a go!
It works great! I think you'll really like it!
Thanks for sharing some of your
Tips on the wacky tube
I put a weight inside then 3 beads
and a straight shank hook all inside the tube, the hook is loose
Inside and the bend of the hook is
about 1/16” - 1/8” short of the end of the tentacles
Great for short bitters
Thanks for sharing!
I fish a tube out in the river but never at the lake. That wacky tube looks legit. You can probably wacky rig anything if you try hard enough
Agreed! You could probably wacky rig a lipless crank if you tried hard enough!
It's been rough for me but I use your tips and it helps me get some bites. Before I just got the skunk
I'm happy the tips helped!
I ain't never been one for fishing fancy gadgets and doodads but I been trying more things since watching your youtubes. They seem to work pretty ok.
I'm very happy you started watching!
Great video LB, I think a tube is a great under used bait. I used them as a kid in the 80s and caught a bunch of bass on them.
Tubes are very overlooked!
Great video, I haven’t had much luck on a fluke but I’m going to still throw it for sure.
Keep working with them and before you know it they'll be a big confidence bait for you!
I've been throwing too big of baits at the wrong time of day in the wrong places, but I'm about to change all that. I'm ready to use a nightcrawler to catch some bluegills to use for bait
It can be rough out there for sure!
I HOPE THAT YOU GET A CHANCE TO READ THIS I HAVE BEEN WATCHING FOR AN MONTH NOW LIKE YOUR CONTENT THANKS FOR KEEPING IT REAL GOOD JOB DO WHAT YOU DO GOOD WORK!!!!!
I read all the comments! Thanks for watching!
I have never Caught anything on the fluke yet, and it looks better than any other baits I use, confused!
They can be great fish catchers! Keep working with them and I'm sure you'll have success!
Same here.
I really like a stupid tube rig. Great for grass and laydowns.
A stupid tube is a great setup!
how many lb line for weightless super fluke?
I usually run 12lb fluoro.
