Yea....they are so hard to find perfect being so thin, They should be worth more for as long as you have to look for a real nice one. I have like 7 i think now from this beach that are all just smokers. A few are big and serrated

I went ot arrowhead hunting today and all I found was old bottles. But nice ones. I will travel and go sift on that shell midden here maybe in the next few days. I am sick of dump digging

I did pretty good again today. Found more old real nice bottles just laying out on the shore. It is good surface hunting for bottles this year. That last high water really eroded some of the banks

Yea.....I was looking at my Wheeling beers...ad this is the best one I have ever found. And today....I went like 2 miles up the shore and looked another spot...and found another Reymann bottle that is different...but just mint condition. And whiskey flasks....just laying out on the beach

No doubt. To bad you cannot just go out and pick stuff up like this every trip. I doubt I will find another bottle that old and nice the rest of the year. I got big time lucky. Someone had even walked right by that bottle and did not pick it up....someone was mowing and trimming in there. And probably did not even know it was an old bottle.

The bottle was awesome! I was finally able to do some searching and found my first arrowhead of the year.
That is awesome! I am doing better on old bottles this year on the river. I found 3 more real nice ones a little bit ago...just laying in the sand. That is odd for me to find so many.

I have been doing good on bottles this year on the river. I found another reymann bottle today and some other nice whiskey flasks. The banks fell in several places and the bottles are coming out now

Yea.....i was about due on that place. I went there like 10 times this year and just found a few flakes. I think i will be able to sift a few nice Madisons there and hopefully a nice Jacks Reef. I have found 2 killer broken in half Jacks Reefs there too.

Yea that is the best possible outcome for that bottle. That looks like an applied blob top. This company was 1880-1914 I think. Id say this is one of the earliest bottles from this place.

It is about time that place produced another Madison. It has been like a year or more since I found one there. Almost all of them that have been complete have been killers. I will go back and dig

I got lucky on that bottle for sure. That is by far the best wheeling beer bottle I have found from that company. I found another one today....but a newer one from like 1914 that is Reymann

Thanks! 😁 It is to bad that place does not have a place that is concentrated to dig. There is an old house up over the top of the bank.I think those are just bottles they threw randomly into the river. I find 4 or 5 nice bottles there a year just in random places and all of them usually pretty old

I found more bottles just laying out like a mile further up the river from where I found that bottle.....2 miles tops. There are a lot of bottles washing out on this stretch of river. Lots of them.

I got lucky on that spot. I found that bottle...then both those Madison came from only like 10-15 yards down the shore. That place has really produced some good videos for me. There for a while I was finding one every trip there. I should be able to sift a few out over there
Great video. Ten and one half minutes of awesomeness! I loved it. Really nice Madison, beautiful aqua colored Reymann Brewing bottle, the broke point triangle, and lots of pieces from them knapping their points and tools there thousands of years ago.

I got lucky asf yesterday Rocks. Had 2 marbles and a turtle back scraper and a small Madison Birdy in the same sifter. 2 shovels apart from each other.

Yea....I dont have time either man. I have not watched another treasure hunting video on TH-cam for a while. I think everyone gets burnt out a little watching so many videos on here. I will probably try and arrowhead hunt tomorrow. I am getting sick of digging marbles.

Does this mean you’re back? Sure have been missing your artifact hunts. Thought you had changed your venue for good and was worried you would turn into a marble or a bottle!😢There was one winter that your dump dig videos kept me somewhat busy and helped me keep my sanity but friend your Native American artifact hunts are top notch and what I love most! Funny enough, that bottle you found sticking out of the bank was a gem!🔥👀👍

That is a really good idea, sifting through the gravel pushed up by the barge. You know there has to be relics in there. The blob top find was exciting for sure. The stopper and the Woodland triangle are sweet finds. Congrats.

Yea....it is way better on the river out of the mud.....vs out of a burnt rust layer in a dump. You get the "Collector Grade" stuff in a place like that. I got lucky. I saw that from the kayak and thought...no way that is old....and it was

I go out to hunt for artifacts and I find marbles. I go looking for marbles and I find ancient artifacts. Well I made the decision I would go out looking for artifacts and marbles. Guess what this time I find salt glazed pottery and bottles. Always a mixed bag ✌️
I find the marbles about everywhere. My mom even finds them in here yard
@@rockscousteau you're over there in that neck of the woods a plethora of American machine-made marble manufacturers. I just looked yesterday online and seeing vittro agate property was for sale for 500 grande. Would be fun to own that you can dig for a lifetime

You don't have any actual dig sites for the early archaic relics do you? Seems like you'd do well with a legit dig site location where you can dig anytime in the undisturbed strata layers rather than having to traverse distances by foot surface hunting like you do. Sifting the banks is cool too of course and obviously you've done well with that but I can't help but wonder why you don't just get on a site location you can dig. Finding the stuff directly in undisturbed context can't be beat in my opinion. Sifting the banks to recover the washed out stuff is definitely productive too, I do it all the time myself here in TN but nothing beats undisturbed strata layers where I can recover stuff and associated tools etc. Even if you sift multiple artifact types on the river banks in the same spots you can't really say with certainty on every piece ya find what may or may not be immediately associated, digging the stuff you can say with certainty and without doubt. Also, if you're digging and you do get into the early archaic stuff, you can keep digging the same layers and really work through site material quickly if you've got an efficient method of doing the digging.
I walk my local creek and my best find is a coke bottle from the 70s 🫤😂
