Join me as I head back to the Ohio River and look for anything nice. Killer find today. Flint Ridge points, hematite paint stones, nice knife and more.
Scott, where you are there is not far from where the Celeron expedition came through in 1749. They came down from Quebec to French Creek in PA and then down to Fort Duquesne (Pittsburgh) down the Ohio to Cincinnati and then up the Big Miami to St. Mary's OH then to Kekionga ----Post Miamis---Fort Wayne and Detroit and back to Quebec in less than a year.
Scott, stunning super killer point! G10, congratulations!!!! Glad to see you pick that history up!! It’s a shame that site has all that new gravel in it now.. I’d sift n bucket the heck out of that site!!!!
Im thrilled to see your arrow head points, and chips n tools. I live in WA state and grew up hunting artifacts with my mother until everything became against the law. We cant even walk the shores of the rivers or creeks. But it gets washed out and sent down the river yearly, with water levels raised and lowered. There is nothing so exciting as finding a pile if chips, bird points, thumb scrapers, knives, bowl n pedestal, etc. And being outdoors!! We had to release everything to the Government, and Indians. That was 1961 to 1969. So Im reliving my past through your videos. I wish there was someplace I could still hunt. Thanks a million, zillion. Kathi
Wow, that’s messed up. I know some states have a lot of regulations on it. Doesn’t make sense to me. They’d rather see it wash away than save it. I’m glad I live in WV! If you’re ever over this way, we’ll go find a few. 👍
There is a place you can still hunt crazy liberal it's where you live simply go out and walk through the woods and along the Creeks nobody will know you're there nobody really cares do it
very cool.....i live about 1.5 miles from Serpent Mound in Southern Ohio & saw the shaker box you use & i'm going to make one like it & hunt artifacts in Baker's Fork Creek, that runs on my property....i've found 4-5 points & a few scrapers just as surface finds....thanks for all the great tips....
👍 What a beauty! I made necklaces for friends with some of my prettiest ones and made one for myself which was about 1 1/2" with a blood red tip. I leaned over to talk with someone through their car window and "POP", there went my tip.
Thanks! That had to suck! I don’t wear mine much, only to show it sometimes. I made mine with a shorter necklace so it doesn’t hang down my chest much. Better watch I don’t fall and slice my throat.👍
@@cleggsadventures Yep, lesson learned. Amazing how the edge of obsidian under a microscope is 500 times sharper than a scalpel. That baby you found is so translucent it's probably close to that.
Haha nice brother Ive been waiting I knew you'd find a killer that thing got all the bells and whistles...that first one was glowing laying there that ones no joke either.thanks for the marble stills love that out-tro.
Blue Crow thank you. Good story on the marbles. I moved into my grandfather’s house after he passed. The house was built on cut stones and the top corner settled on the ground and rotted. I cut it out to replace it and saw a marble in the dirt. I pulled out about 20 or so. Most were well beat up but those are the best two. The house was built in 1920, so all I knew was they were at least that old. Do you know what they are called?
Straight up killer point and the material is outstanding plus the serrations make for a G-10 stunner. The first one was sweet too . Stay safe brother and best of luck.
With the pure walk through that beautiful place, I consider myself well served. And if I find arrowheads like that I am blessed. Wow friend is a divine tip.
That freaking thin thin serrated point is just so amazing! Perfect find for you, and I'm surprised at how much hematite your finding in your videos, good finds as always and I love your videos
Jeff Whitaker Thank you, definitely one of my best finds. Yea, Ive pulled over 75 rubbed hematite stones in there. Not all good but a few were very nice. Thank you for watching 👍
I wear around my neck. Finest made point I’ve ever found. It actually turned out to be an early arrow tip, around 1300 years old. Thanks for watching Howard, Much Appreciated

Absolutely stunning bro. Just the material alone makes that piece. That combined with how nicely it’s made makes it a pants soiler! Has the lost lake notches but I wonder if it’s a jacks reef possibly. Regardless it’s killer
That looks like a Kirk corner notch to me, although I am certainly no expert. All I really know is, it is amazing!!! The bird point and hematite were awesome finds, too! Please give your big ol' pup an ear rub from me, Scott! Take care!😊💖
